Eff Michigan! Haha. Honestly though they've got it done so far. I didn't buy into them at all and I thought that they may be one of the big 10 teams to go out early but they're still standing so I guess I gotta give em credit. College BBall is so weak overall this year though its hard to figure anything out. Don't necessarily like L'ville but monday night I'll sure as hell be rooting for em!

Who Here Watches Fashion Police?

My wife watches so I've seen it a few times and there has to be people writing her "one liners". Regardless, I'll admit I've laughed at the show before. -
Chris Spielman: A Football Life

Pretty sure that's correct. Neck injury & I think his wife had a cancer relapse so he decided to hang em up for good. -

I've said It before on here but dude was in his normal time slot on the sports talk radio station in Cbus the day after his wife passed away. Fielded calls pretty much all afternoon from people just thanking everyone for all their support and speaking candidly. Said he was there because that's exactly what Stefanie would have wanted him to do. Great football player, greater person & role model. One of my all time favorite Bills despite his short tenure. He still speaks very fondly of Buffalo, Ralph, and his time there. He's a true blue football guy and he knows that's a big part of Buffalo. -
We just need to limit gravity to 6 or 7 m/s. I mean really, who needs 9.8 m/s anyways?

Well no **** I live in Columbus! How are you liking it so far? -
Sorry should have clarified I was speaking from a purely "party" perspective. I'm looking forward to doing a little more exploring in NOLA this time around and taking in more of the great food & culture. I just meant that for me, Vegas has been my favorite party/guys weekend venue to date. I'm glad my wife is coming with me to NOLA, but Vegas not so much. She parties with the best of us but isn't big on gambling or staring at half naked chicks. Both great places with tons to offer, can't to wrong with either. Well said.

In that split second between clicking the link and waiting for it to load, I fully expected to see the Peter Pan Guy come up on the screen. Lol....congrats! Funny and true but my mom used to bring a bota bag into the Ralph in the 90s when her and my dad had seasons together with another couple!

Well if doing it for the Bills game too, I'd pull back on my suggestion a bit. It sounds like there are going to be a ton of Bills fans there for that weekend and it could be pretty epic, especially if you haven't been there before. Just know that although it is a party Mecca, it just doesn't have the variety of options and literally non stop action that Vegas does (though close). I will say there is a lot more to "see and do" in Vegas. In NOLA it's pretty much French Quarter.

Have done both and will probably be making my 2nd trip to the Big Easy this fall when the Bills play down there. That being said, if it was me I would choose Vegas all day long. NO is fun but its no Vegas...

First trip out to Vegas was last spring for a buddy's bachelor party. F'ing amazing. Can't wait to get back. Spent an afternoon at Wet Republic and our server was one of the ones that was supposedly parting with Prince Harry during that whole thing. She was actually pretty cool and took great care of us even though we were "nobody's". Although we did still drop a ton of coin. Also did bottle service at Surrender that evening and they took great care of us too. The whole weekend was a blur and I wasn't "right" for a few days after. Can't wait to do it again some time!

It's like Stevie's Rome show comments. Something he should keep to himself. What positives could possibly come from saying something like that? If you want a laugh check out Johnson's twitter sometime. Don't think he's the sharpest knife... -

This sums it up pretty well. We all just want some kind of "reward" for the passion, time, and $ we spend on these teams. Sure I think we all realize there are more important things in life, but we all obviously have a deep rooted connection with the Bills that is part of who we are and something that can't just be totally turned off. It's what makes us different than bandwagon Pats fans or fair weather Fins fans that probably can't name their teams starting center let alone their entire practice squad like we probably can. I have a very demanding job with tons of travel through the spring and summer months, and stretching into early fall. Cant even begin to count up the amount of nights i spend in hotels each year. My travel schedule pretty much winds down as the NFL season gets going so it's even magnified for me. The fall is my time. I know I'll be at home sleeping in my bed every night, unless I'm somewhere else by choice. I love having season tickets and traveling to an away game or two every year despite the obvious time and $ thats involved. Sundays in the fall are the days that I look forward too now and throughout the summer. I love partying all day and enjoying the company of my group. At the same time I realize that putting those days up on a pedestal like that also means that I'm more likely to greatly overreact to the outcome of said Sundays. Look at my profile I'm plenty guilty of being drunk and posting crap out of my ass that I would never say under normal circumstances. I know it's not right and I always dread re reading my posts after days like that. Unfortunately they are all to common in recent years. I really just want us to have a winner so we can all experience some damn fun together again. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be talking about an upcoming playoff matchup, or how loud the Ralph was for last weeks wild card game, I think that would instantly cure a lot of the BS on here as well as a lot of the "fan behavior" threads that always pop up. It doesn't look like it will happen this year but who knows maybe this new regime can bring some fun back into this hobby for us. That's what it should be about right? I know one thing, if some magical day we get to see the Bills hold up that trophy, there won't be a fanbase anywhere that could come close to feeling the way we all will that day.

I was there for this one. 2nd time in Indy, first in new stadium. It's a beautiful stadium and the amenities are awesome (it's great walking up to an empty urinal every time) but man it just doesn't feel like you're at a football game. Feels very sterile like a Sabres game. I'm sure some of it has to do with the Indy fanbase. They were spoiled by Peyton and had Luck land in their lap. I have a few friends that live in Indy and they said during their one down year, you could get tickets for peanuts. Would love to see how they dealt with an extended playoff drought but that probably won't happen till Luck retires, sigh.... Anyways, I think Chan generally got the most out of our offense based on the crap QB and WR play overall. His downfall was not making CJ/Freddy the focal point of the offense, and just totally refusing to hold Wanny more accountable for the obvious schematic problems with the D. I'm willing to give the new regime a shot but I feel like we're totally back at square one when only a year ago it seemed like we were on the brink of the playoffs. Who knows it may be better off in the long run as even if we made the playoffs with Fitzy and Chan I think we would have been waxed by a better team. Maybe we can finally rebuild the right way but I fear it's gonna take a couple years and that's awful hard to swallow after 13 years of no playoffs.

CAVEAT EMPTOR ! Some Truths about Free Agency

Yup Scott chandler and Kraig Urbik have brought us great success! Nothing to complain about here! There's no such thing as too much bud light -
The board of governors approved the proposed realignment plan. For selfish reasons I'm glad because it will ensure the Sabres play in Columbus at least one a year. Thoughts? Link to the in depth explanation below. http://www.nhl.com/ice/m_news.htm?id=660138

Not saying that a couple rah rah guys would propel us to a Super Bowl just find it a little concerning that an already "weak" locker room appears to have lost much of its voice. Seems like most of the really successful teams have a handful of guys that speak for the group but at the same time hold everyone to some kind of standard. I know Stevie tries, but he often inserts his foot into his mouth. Do you really want one of your team leaders to have recently admitted on a national radio show that he doesn't train as much as he could in the offseason and that he could possibly be better? I hope Marrone and the new staff will hold people accountable, and that this wont just be a big group of paycheck collectors. Looks like we will have a long season in front of us fellas. Oh well ill still be there in sec 109.

One thing I haven't seen a ton of chatter about is the loss of a bunch of our captain/team leader type guys. Say what you want about the on field production of Kelsay, Wilson, Fitz, Barnett, Moorman, etc. but there's no doubt they were respected in the locker room. On offense it seems like Wood and Freddy will be the more vocal leaders, and on defense all we're left with is Kyle Williams. I really don't see anyone naturally stepping into the roles that these guys filled and I think that's a big question mark with the team at this point. Seems like Marrone will have a little less patience for sub par performance and won't always take the blame to the degree Chan did. Not saying that we should have kept any or all of these guys just a little concerned that a locker room that didn't necessarily have the strongest core of leaders to begin with has recently lost most of the few they did have.
