Congrats! I'm on about season 8 maybe? Usually miss at most 1 game per year. Traveling 4-5 hrs each way for all the games to watch a sub .500 team hasn't exactly been the most rewarding, but wouldn't trade it for anything. Getting to reconnect with family and friends together at a game is awesome. Those good times keep you coming back. Hopefully we will have a lot more of them on the horizon! That's the crazy thing. It's been so long since we have been contenders late into the season, I can only dream of how the Ralph would be for a meaningful late season game!

I think a lot of this stuff is just "routine" or "preventative" maintenance. If any of these procedures were real serious, we'd probably have heard some rumblings. I'm all for giving guys like Mario, KW, Freddy, CJ, etc. limited reps all through camp and preseason. These guys know how to play, save em for the regular season.

Seems like a good idea. It's been so long since I sat in the upper deck I kind of forgot what it was like sitting on a bench style seat like that until this past fall when I sat in the lower bowl at Ohio stadium. Man, I had gotten spoiled by the "individual" seats in our seasons at the Ralph. I would absolutely pay the $50 to lease one for the year and not have to deal with lugging my own each week. Although, hopefully there will be a lot of standing this year!

Had some pool issues this weekend over at the in laws. The pool has been "open" for a couple weeks but they hadn't been running the heat pump due to another week of cold weather. Last week started trending warmer so they fired it back up. This weekend was going to be the first major usage of the pool this season and of course in impeccable timing, the pool pump craps out. We open up the strainer basket and find a random screw with a knob on it. Not a good sign. Anyways, by some miracle a guy from their local pool place was able to come by. We get the pump apart and find out the screw was the one that holds the impeller in place. Of course it had gotten into the impeller and ruined it. Luckily this particular pool was very "overbuilt" and they actually have a second pump solely to run a slide and some jets. Luckily the pumps are almost identical and within an hour or so, the pumps had been swapped out and the filter and heat pump were back up and running. No slide until a new impeller comes in but pool is about 84!

This is my biggest fear about the new stadium stuff. Fall Sundays at the Ralph are one of my favorite things in the world. Obviously the team staying in WNY is priority 1 but I really hope we don't lose the tailgating scene. The NFL is already losing a lot of people to TV of they keep digging for more $ from the people that actually attend games, before too long there will be more than a few teams that will have trouble filling the seats.

I think the food is quite a bit better than Hooters. Although that isn't exactly saying a lot!

He comes off as a bit of an a-hole. Which I think is a great sign. Can never have too many big mean guys up front!

I think Kenny has a great shot to beat out Tuel. He's got a skill set more like EJ and Thad. I watched him play a lot at OSU and I'd like to see him stick until camp. Probably has a lot to learn with the system as I don't think OSUs offense is very similar to an nfl system.

I'm fine with the trade and I'm excited about Watkins. He was the only player I really felt was worth trading up for. It was a bold move but I like the attitude and message it sends to the team. Obviously we won't know if it was "worth it" for years and hindsight is always 20/20, but I think Watkins has potential to be a superstar. If we can add a tackle, and EJ progresses and stays healthy I think that for the first time in 15 years we're going to be relavent again.

Nice tribute. Figured they would do something like that. I heard from a friend that it's also going to be on the jersey that gets handed to the first pick tonight, not sure if that's true.

Maybe mods can leave this up for a day or so before moving to tailgate forum. Wife and I, and possibly some other friends will be heading down for the game. Heading to Ft. Lauderdale on the 11th after running a 1/2 marathon at doing a few days at disney the weekend before. Anyone have any preliminary info on what kind of pre game festivities will be happening? This will be my 3rd time seeing the Bills play in Miami and the last time I had a blast with a Bills backers group out of Hollywood, where we stayed last time. I know the Buffalo invasion party usually happens in Ft. lauderdale but is there ever any big group transportation set up to get to and from the game? The Hollywood backers had an awesome pre game party at a bar and had coach busses fully stocked with booze to get to and from the game. $30 a person or something like that. Was a great time and so convenient. We will have a car but for obvious reasons would not really want to have to drive to the game. We'll be at the Hilton beach resort. Hoping to see a lot of red, white, and blue down there and enjoy some beach time in late fall! For any "veterans" of the area or of attending the game, suggestions on bar, restaurant, activities, would be greatly appreciated. Also would love to hook up with some other fans if some kind of group ticket/ transportation thing gets set up. Thanks!

Our house is well protected and over the last few years my wife and I have spent a lot of time on the range. I've been carrying for a few months. Too many crazy people out there that a couple years ago I decided it was time to better protect ourselves. In addition to the personal protection aspect, we've come to really enjoy shooting as a hobby.

I think 3 of the 4 Browns QBs were former Bills. Didn't Tanney do a stint with us during the offseason or something?
