  1. If you think this team is going anywhere with KO, you my friend are insane.
  2. I flipped **** at that call. Yeah great time for play action Nate. Just shows how inept/ in over their heads these idiots are.
  3. Or deciding to throw a 2 yard pass to a TE when they're clearly blanketed. Sometimes on 3rd down. This dude either sucks that bad or he's damaged beyond repair. Too bad it's been happening for over a month.
  4. Would be a dream come true for me. Another reason to hate Michigan.
  5. Huh? Thought that was one of the douchiest things I've ever seen.
  6. Huh? I have doubts about anyone that can defend Orton at this point.
  7. Is this a Bills game? God almighty. Saw this coming the last 30 min but c'mon!
  8. Jesus Christ c'mon SF put em away! If SD does score again do they go for two? I would.
  9. It's hard to drive in South Dakota
  10. I saw enough of cousins in college to not buy into his anointing in Wash. I will be shocked if he ever becomes more than an above average backup. He's Fitz, Orton, even RJ back in the day. Can string a few games together here and there but always regresses to the mean and shows why he's not starting material. What QBs have busted out or been let go by their original team, and come back to win a Super Bowl? Young, Dilfer, Brees are the ones I can think of. Close calls to Peyton, Warner, and Gannon. Obviously not impossible but I just don't have faith in any of the retread options out there except for maybe cam newton who won't be available.
  11. ^This. Yes QB play is obviously the biggest issue with this team but this offense has lots of talent and with better coaching would be an average unit. The weirdest thing is that we actually move the ball with some regularity but the red zone offense is just pathetic. That's all I need to know about this coaching staff. I think this is the worst team I've ever seen in the red zone. Playcalling is very suspect and execution is horrible. Think about the rosters of the Jauron and Gailey teams. It's a wonder Jauron's teams were able to hang with most teams due to the "bend but don't break style of d". May even be more of a miracle that the Gailey offenses were able to function at a decent level because I think they had very little talent. Our roster is the best in 15 years and should be good enough for playoffs. I think game day playcalling and decision making is holding us back. I will say one thing I think Marrone deserves credit for is having the team ready to play each Sunday, especially on the road. Gaileys teams had a tendency to have a couple road games a year when it looked like Half the team was still on the bus. Any bit of adversity would have meant a meltdown. I've seen that change and hope it comes full circle with two big road wins in the next two weeks.
  12. The rush defense is MUCH better this year with almost exactly the same "contributing " personnel, and without Byrd and Kiko. The browns d is good overall, but rush d is pretty suspect. I was very worried about Schwartz over Pettine, but I think it's pretty clear that this is a more complete and consistent defense.
  13. Ditto. I've done 6 blazin from b dubs and it's just pure heat no flavor. Whenever I do end up there (not often and only if it's best option when I'm traveling for work and want some cold ones) I usually get their mango habanero. I like heat to the point of a little forehead sweat/ eye water/ runny nose, but not to the point of convulsions or not being able to taste anything for a week.
  14. Couldn't have summed it up better and I was just sitting here thinking along the same lines. We've actually had good luck in the injury department the last two years, and this roster is the best we've had in easily a decade. A 2 win improvement is meh for me. If we get to 10-6 I'll be happy but anything less and I'm ok with St. Doug going bye bye. I hope Whaley stays no matter what.
  15. This is a fantastic assessment.
  16. Haven't heard or read anything but also have been drinking all day so there's that... Any news? We obviously need the spice man!
  17. I was there and thought it was about as well done as possible. Had a minor ticket issue getting in, and the ushers in the first area we tried to sit at were a little confused but overall it's a little chaotic when tickets are free and it's all general admission. It was to be expected. Once settled in, it was great. A good showing of Bills fans in lower bowl on Bills side. Standing & cheering on 3rd down, singing Shout song, etc. Seemed like a lot of the Lions fans and probably the majority of the causal fans were pulling for the Bills. Probably helped that we made a ton of exciting plays. I thought all the little touches they did to make it seem like as much of a home game as possible were really well done. Overall, glad I made the 3 hr trip up then right back. Little tired today but at least the Bills made it worth the drive this time!
  18. Yeah I work in Toledo from time to time so know the area a bit. Gonna stay in perrysburg over by the frickers. Unfortunately don't think we'll have time to squeeze in a tony packos stop. 19. Was in Miami for the game last week. Going to leave work a bit early Monday and head to the game, then stay in Toledo on the way home. Will wake up early and be back for work Tuesday morning. Then wed evening it's up to WNY for holiday, family, and hopefully game. I have a problem...
  20. I've liked Browns fans less and less each year I've lived in Ohio. I know we have the whole kindred spirit kinda thing going but for the most part they are just idiots that piss me off. These are the same fans that we're crying in their Cheerios about having to settle for Pettine and will be clamoring for Johhny Football in a couple weeks.
  21. I don't think the practice aspect has much if anything to do with it. They're probably evaluating the conditions of the stadium and parking areas and the logistics of actually having the area ready by Sunday morning. I remember a Philly game getting pushed back a day or two a few yrs ago.
