Pretty easy to forget how easily things could have went the other way if it wasn't for how Ralph had the lease, foundation, etc. set up. He was a great man that continues to give back to the region even after his death. RIP Ralph!
Been to Harry Buffalo over at Sunbury Rd & 161? They're way better than B dubs IMO. Another place that has surprisingly good wings in Cbus is Pint House over in the short north. I usually go a little off the beaten path with the flavor at both those places and get their buffalo garlic parm and they're pretty good.
^^^This! I'm very picky about where I get my wings from, but every one in a while when traveling for work I'll get that wing craving and I will cave. I can tell immediately when places do this. One of the best things I've found for making wings at home is the fresh not frozen wings from Costco. They're packaged as a 6 pack of individual servings of about a dozen wings each. They're a bit on the small side but the taste of the fresh wings really stands out.
Great minds...did 2 shoulders yesterday for a dinner party, leftovers will be sliders and pulled pork nachos. Also will be firing up the turkey fryer for mass quantities of wings. Think others are bringing some dips, pigs in a blanket, and other assorted munches. I'll prob grab a couple pizzas too just because. Oh and lots of beer.
I know exactly where that one is! Another similar one is in Gary, IN on Buchannon close to the ramp for 90. There's a handful of overhead RR bridges all with signs and the automated flashers and warning sound if a truck is close to the max height. I've been told it still gets hit every couple months.
Guys this is the NFL. I'd guess that probably 80% or more of the players are using some kind of PED's either during the season or offseason. The drug testing is super lax compared to other sports because it what we want, huge freakish athletes running into each other.
Please God no....Angry goat head was the worst. Bills unis are finally great as is. Traditional, classy look not some stupid late 90s / early 2000s look like Titans, Bucs, Pats, Broncos, etc.
What's the last team that went deep with QB play like ours this year? SF a couple years ago maybe? But I think Kaps numbers were a bit better. My point is that it's much more an "abnormality" to get there with that type of team. It's a passing league and even average qbs tend to get 4K and 25-30 Tds. If we keep thinking 3k and 20 is "great" I think that's just and indication of how long it's been since we've have truly good QB play. Just my opinion.
He was ok. Still looks like a "1 read & run" QB to me but hopefully he can further develop. I know he had very few options to throw to the last couple weeks. That being said its the best we have had in a long time (not saying much) and he appears to be a gamer and good leader. My biggest concerns are durability and the fact that we still kinda play a conservative offense with him. If next year he can take the next step and start hitting 2nd and 3rd reads over the middle and actually attacking through the air I'll be more sold. I just think it's more likely that he's a "caretaker" that won't be a guy that's gonna throw for 4K yards and 30 Tds which is almost a necessity these days for qbs of true contenders.
I've been to a home game at ECU and all I can say is wow...this loser certainly has no place to talk. A NASCAR race is like a black tie affair compared to an ECU game
