I think this thread will be featured on ESPN classic tomorrow as an "instant classic" -
Saw A History of Violence yesterday

Difinitely saw a preview for that when I saw Flightplan the other day (save your $ btw). My girlfriend and I gave each other the "wtf?" look. I think your right on with your probable audience for when that movie "comes out". I certainly won't be watching any gay cowboys prance around. That is unless by some miracle we play Drew & co. in the Super Bowl... -

It's a lovely pipe dream, but not gonna happen. It's been said a zillion times, the NFL is not Madden '06. -

Cincinnatti is going to smoke us this year unless there is a huge turnaround before then. Trust me, I've seen them play every week and they are the real deal. Their D is not as good as the stats may indicate but I think they have the best offense in the league. -
....we share the same record as the 49ers

100 yards of passing in one game... -
As bad as the Bills have been, I'd take them over baseball any day. Hell I'd take preseason Cardinals vs. Titans over baseball.

NOW THAT WE HAVE NO CHANCE AT PLAYOFFS

When the team plays the way it has the last 3 weeks and you look at other teams and divisions in the AFC, I have no problem saying that we have no chance at the playoffs. -

I know I've mentioned it before on here somewhere, but best fight I ever saw was at the Aud when the Sabres were playing the Flyers. Huge brawl is going on, Barnaby's down in front of the net and Garth Snow (the goalie) taps him with his stick. Barnaby jumps up and beats the crap outta Snow. Then Barnaby and Brind'Amor fight for about 5 min cuz the refs are trying to break up everyone else fighting. Oh yeah Andre Trevilov (Sabres goalie) even fought with Snow and got his ass kicked I think...lol....I just remember the Aud was freakin going crazy. They had to end the period early to sort out penalty minutes. -
Always loved that "what the hell" look that wade had on his face about 85% of the time. I remember getting so pissed about the fact that he wouldn't wear a headset.

the real measure for losman

Being in Bengal country, I see a lot of Bengals games as they are always on the big screen at the bar I watch the Bills at. Early on last year, Palmer was making plays and throwing the ball well. However, I think in a few of their early games he made some costly turnovers on "last minute" drives that ended the game. He was hitting recievers and throwing well though. Palmer's early mistakes were the expected "mental" mistakes. What worries me about JP is that he isn't even making throws and he's making mental mistakes. From what I saw last year with Palmer and this year so far with JP, I'd give a big edge to Palmer. -
Only problem is to have guys running 20 & 30 yard routes, the o-line has to give JP more than 2 seconds of protection.

Yes, and listening to a few thousand drunken creeps chanting obscenties at the top of their lungs is exactly the way to impart that important knowledge to our kids. If only I could thank them for their public service somehow. Maybe go to their house and chant "clean that crotch" to their wives because I know they'll appreciate the sound advice. Seriously, I have very low expectations for fan behaviour at a football game but that was a new low, even for the endzone sections. -
OK, I'll join the fray.

Would I rather have Jennings in there? Probably. Would I rather have him in there for $42 million dollars and maybe have to cut loose someone like Milloy, E-Mo, Fletch? Hell no. Bottom line, Gandy is starting at LT for us making next to nothing and JP has not been getting creamed from the blindside. Not hearing a ton about Gandy since the season has started says plenty. -

The best and easiest way to fill seats is to win games. Suggesting that we draft "gadget players and media darlings" to fill up the stadium instead of trying to put out a winning product is asinine. I'm not saying that some of the draft choices shouldn't be questioned or debated, but I'm pretty sure that there's no conspiracy at 1BD to field a mediocre team and then see how they can "trick" fans into coming to games. -
I sure hope Bills & TKO take notice...
billsfanmiami(oh) posted a topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I really hope (and would obviously expect) that the Bills and TKO will not make the same mistakes that the Jets did with Pennington. From most accounts, it seems like they downplayed the severity of the injury last year and Chad continued to play troughout the playoffs (and probably cause more damage). Also, it seems like maybe they let Chad's competitive spirit get the best of him and get back in there too early. If I remember correctly, he didn't even start throwing until sometime in camp, then was playing against NFL competition a few weeks later. I know TKO is a warrior and will agressively rehab this injury and want to get back out on the field as soon as he can next year. I just hope that they are smart and have patience about the situation. As much as it stinks, I'd rather have TKO back halfway through next season than rush him back for training camp and have a repeat injury. I mean Pennington's career is quite possibly over and it seems like mis-management of his initial injury may be to blame. It'd be a shame to have the same thing happen to TKO who like Pennington, is an all around stand up guy. He exemplifies everything I want to see in a player on my favorite team: heart, intensity, accountability, and genuine love for the game and fans. Here's to a full recovery for TKO! -

Yeah but I noticed a couple times yesterday when he did pick up the blitz quite well, even one time when he went low on the guy and totally took him out. The dude woulda killed JP coming from the blindside.
