I don't know about you, but my Grandma used to have a rotary phone. It worked and was simple and straightforward. Think of it as an offensive line. I have a smart phone with over one million contacts listed and sorted. Think of that as a cornerback. From time to time we all might wish for the nostalgic dial phone, but we all know that the smart phone will allow you to do more things, more quickly.

Lots of hippies are teachers. It is possible that he had two demands but most potheads can't count to two.

Is that 17 year old New Jersey girl nicknamed "The Pentagon"? Because if she is Mark San.........never mind.
-
I think what the uninformed minds in this thread are saying is that the students were taking it out on the wrong person. What they fail to understand because they have not listened to you is that when the hippies were yelling "racist, racist, racist" at the paralyzed soldier as he tried to speak, they were showing a deep compassion for him and his right to free speech. They had to yell over him to prove they respect him and his right to speak. If they ever had actually let him speak, he would have only said something pro-military. Letting him talk would have been a very disrespectful thing for them to do. By yelling racist, they displayed a touching empathy for their fellow man. It is sad that you were the only one who understood, but now you have taught me. On a related note, and although I am not fully there yet, I am starting to understand the way you feel about Mark Sanchez. Let me see if I have this right: Once the girl told him 17 was legal in New Jersey, it would have been wrong of him to say: "That may be the case, but you are still too young for me." Similarly, it would have been rude for him to determine if this statement were actually true from an independent source. The heroic action, and the one Sanchez took, would be to take her word for it on the age of consent, take her back to his apartment, and have his way with her. So I now have come to understand that Mark Sanchez is a hero and the paralyzed soldier needs to understand that the hippies shouting him down were enlightened and that he should aspire to be like them. I know I am still learning but can you let me know how I'm doing?

It isn't a matter of the blocking being fine. The game is quick now. The QB needs to get the ball out. If the opposing QB does, you had better have some solid CBs. Screen passes are a big part of the game now too. They are run not just to RBs but WRs as well. We have all read that screen passes actually work better with a bad OL. It is a matter of planning. You simply can't be fixated on one position. In the 70s, CBs were important but OL was paramount. Today it is the opposite. As you type your reply think of it this way: Your computer is like a cornerback. It allows you to be nimble, make quick adjustments and change things up. The OL is like the US mail. It always arrives eventually but it can bog you down with its lack of speed. In the 70s, that philosophy was ok, but not today. I am not saying one system was better or worse, it is just an evolution. One day we may go back to OL being important. Things do run in cycles.

I agree about RB and TE to a degree but you must get CB and WR early in today's NFL. In days of yore OL was important; QB was and is still important but it is a speed league now and CB/WR are paramount. You have to draft them and keep them. The Bills have drafted them, but not kept them. Frittering away picks on positions like OL is laughable considering the patchwork rag tag band of misfits that won the AFC championship.

Tony's one and only 2011 Buffalo Bills Mock Draft
ieatcrayonz replied to tonyjustbcuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Every one of these mock drafts has us taking Casey Matthews in the fourth. Do you think the league would just give him to us right now? It could save time and the draft takes all day. -
It is not fair to expect Mallet to answer to some press dweeb who is only going to keep asking more and more questions in an effort to get him to snap. I don't see anything wrong with how he handled it. He said he would discuss it with the teams. He might as well start his brief career by knowing to not talk to the press. Still, there is no drug in the world that will make him look faster than Frankenstein. No thanks.

Mark Sanchez says............ You do realize that Gordon Lightfoot is now an Mormon terrorist right? -
Don't let Beerboy name it. Call it what you want but "Thad in plaid" has a nice ring. You can just make the alien space suits plaid if you need a reason for every detail. Anyway I'm just spitballing this so do whatever you want.

Get in line. He is answering me first. I am trying to learn here.

You misunderstood my question. Thanks to you I now understand that the military is a horrible organization preying on the poor and young and trying to make people everywhere dead. My question is why did the hippies yell "racist", instead of "racists"? They weren't yelling at him, they were yelling at the entire military. Even if they weren't there, it was still not personal to him so the word should have been plural. Is their grammar really that bad at Columbia?
-
Thanks I get it now. One thing: why did the young hippies yell "racist" at him? I understand that the military is inherently evil and racist thanks to your teachings, but shouldn't these students have said "racists" since there is more than one person in the military? I know they weren't yelling at him alone because you told me so. Maybe Columbia doesn't teach grammar until junior year. I don't know, it doesn't make sense. Please help.

Look dude why don't you just have some space alien accidentally land at this guy's house in a time machine and have this guys assistant; a good name would be Thaddeus, hop around space and time bringing back all sorts of useful crap from the future. You could work in some comic relief when Thaddeus brought back junk like microwaves that had to be plugged in and frustrated the main character. Plus no one had invented Hot Pockets yet anyway, so the microwave would be useless even when Thaddeus brought back a generator. Another idea is that he could bring back refrigerator magnets, but forget the refrigerator, rendering the magnets useless until a pivotal time in the film where the refrigerator is drawn back through space and time by its magnets and on the way into the scene totally takes out the bad guy. Or how about a lawnmower that is useless due to lack of lawns but if you want a little violence the guy could run over someones foot and there could be lots of blood? Just some thoughts....feel free to tweak them. Why can't the main character go through and get his own junk???? Because Thaddeus is two foot six and fits in the pod because the dead alien is the same size. Next time please think before asking stupid questions like that. Thaddeus could also bring back some useful stuff like a tennis racket. You could also follow Thaddeus on a trip into space/time where he gets laid, but probably not until the sequel. And make sure to have Thaddeus also bring back a copyright infringement lawyer and/or Fez. James West is gonna be pissed about this character.

I Know PPP is Largely Conservative Now

Awesome. Why not post them on the Bills board too? They are not Bills related either. The Consumer board could use a little help getting it more active. -
And those Columbia students are paying for all of that medical care with their ta.......well, I mean with the theories they develop on idealogical societies as they wallow in self pity and light up another bong hit. The more I think about this, Joe's logic just can't be denied. I am starting to feel bad for the students for being subjected to someone that is so ungrateful. It is too bad all heroes can't be more like Mark Sanchez. Speaking of cradle robbers, have you seen either Sage or Ennifer?
-
If you read Joe's posts in this thread carefully, then you will understand that the soldier was treated like royalty. The people who booed and hissed at him and called him a racist and did not let him speak are the ones that really care about him. He should be grateful. Maybe someday they will show how much they care by mocking him for his inability to walk. The ungrateful soldier then goes and allows himself to be photographed for an evil newspaper that wants him dead. Did I get that about right Joe? I'm still learning this stuff.

Mark Sanchez likes his powers of rationalization too.

You should invite Ricky Gervais to even things up.

You know when you wouldn't care if the problems were rooted in colonialism, tribalism, or Islam? Theoretically about 30 seconds after your head started rolling/bouncing down a flight of stairs, that's when.
