Yet another thread on draft thoughts, scenarios
ieatcrayonz replied to tonyjustbcuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Casey Matthews in the 4th? That makes about 974 mock drafts on this site all agreeing with that pick. I think we should just write Goodell to tell him that he can save time at the draft by giving us Matthews and having us give up our 4a pick. With so many mocks having the pick, how is it even possible that anything else can happen? -
I'm Gaining Interest in Blaine Gabbert
ieatcrayonz replied to WickedGame's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's good because "Blaine" and "Tinkerbell" are not really that far apart. -
I don't really give a crap one way or another about Jerry Brown, but was Yoshi there or was he off filming a new video game?

I don't get it. -
It is actually over 15,000 if you add the numbers. For rounding let's call it 15k even. There are 32 teams. 15,000/32 = 468.75 players per team which seems ridiculous. Then again you are only thinking of during the season. You have to consider the draft, UDFA, training camp, and should also include people who wish they were selected but were not. As you can clearly see the numbers begin to make sense. I'm not agreeing with the rest of this thread's premise but the number of players seems right.

Attention: California Dingbats

Not really because Canadians are so dumb that when they get stoned they don't even try to start in with all the crap regular hippies do. You know what I mean, stuff like: "Whoa man, what if red is really blue and blue is really red." Wow man, I'm glad I smoked all of this pot to open up new like horizons for myself man. A stoned Canadian is generally comatose. Intolerable yes, but not as much as a regular hippy. -

I did not watch the video but it is simply not possible to be less tolerable than a dumb, liberal hippy. Can't happen. -

A prominent group of psychics got their heads together and foresee that one day soon Inside Edition will not be a highly regarded journalistic source.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but if everyone did that we would not have doggies. Thank goodness some people are idiots I guess.

Dude you must be having some of what Charlie Sheen is having. I don't see no Favre's nor Moatses. -

I have had the same avatar for years, and you call it weird now? I liked the one you had with Favre getting sacked but now you have that green thing. What gives? And what is with your signature? -

Do not let the Googlebot read this. Ever since he got back from they, he has been a little weird. Have you seen Ennifer? -
As in any profession there are certainly frauds. Think of dentists that abuse their unconscious patients, priests, dirty cops, union bosses, politicians and Aaron Maybin. While there are a high percentage of psychics that are frauds, and I can usually tell just by looking at one whether they are legit; the legit ones can really pay off. I don't want to get into how much money I have made, but let's just say if I had $100k for every lentil Sage has or will ingest this year, I would have suffered some major losses to get there.

Patrick Peterson runs a 4.32 Forty at the Combine
ieatcrayonz replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As you typed your pro-offensive line comments on your computer I wonder if you saw the irony. Lines are reliable, strong, and functional vehicles to get a job done. Royal and Remington-Rand made that very argument for years regarding typewriters and yet their companies foundered. Faster methods of distribution and efficiency such as computers and networks had come along. This is like a solid defensive backfield that can quickly change tactics and efficiently cover the field. Many people have probably read your post already and it is funny because if you had used a typewriter you would have had to mail a carbon to multiple people. And don't bring up copiers because they are more like linebackers. You are essentially arguing against yourself just by posting. -
Patrick Peterson runs a 4.32 Forty at the Combine
ieatcrayonz replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This would have been a great comment back in the day, but in today's NFL, I must disagree. What do you think the Steelers would say about this? They have a very weak OL, but they still scored a lot. They were also weak at DB and it should have cost them home field and a Super Bowl berth. If Stevie didn't drop that pass the Steelers would have been on the road and done early in the playoffs. Stevie would not have been open if the Steelers had had Peterson or someone like him. Think of it this way: The lines are like elephants. In the days before guns, the elephants just trampled whatever was in their way. Now their lack of speed leaves them prone to poachers who steal their tusks for ivory to be sold to some dude making a piano. DBs are like bed bugs. Once written off for irrelevant, they have returned and they stealthily suck the blood from their opponent and are nearly impossible to stop. One DB is like a whole colony of bed bugs. -
1999 is a long time ago. Think of it this way: Building a team around an offensive line is like driving a DeSoto. It worked great for Richie's father on Happy Days and it was the right thing to do at the time. There was a lot of wear and tear but it was a rough and tumble time. There is also a reason why your local DeSoto dealer is out of business and it is not Obama's fault so don't start in with me. Ferarris on the other hand are thriving and sort of like cornerbacks in today's turn on a dime NFL. Sure you might not be able to plow your driveway with it, but who cares when you can just zip down to Florida or some other warm locale where all the chicks are anyway?
