You're getting ahead of yourself. You can also get nutrients from pills like the Jetsons.

Not everyone drinks wine. That is mostly an answer for Mead. -

At least I don't need a US Senator to hold my schtick when I go pee pee. -
Accuscore is a computer so it is a non-emotional responder. That makes it tough for it to pick in the beginning of the year, but as the year winds down, if it is programmed correctly, it should be able to pick every game correctly in the last few weeks. In the beginning of the season the humans have the advantage but they have to build a big enough lead.

That was the end of the game. Billy usually won.

I'm glad Buffalo's franchise was around first and Canada got stuck with the stupid Cavalry Flames.

The OP's historical reference is a valid one, but not the genesis of Berman's famous phrase. CB has explained a couple of times about a kid in his neighborhood named Billy and a game they used to play called Circle the Wagons. He didn't know how the name came about but it was basically a game of outdoor musical chairs. Instead of chairs They would use the little red wagons that kids used to pull around. Anyway, this kid Billy was the smallest/weakest kid in the group but he would always manage to win the games and CB was amazed by this. Eventually one of the parents said something like "Nobody plays Circle the Wagons like Billy" and Berman always remembered the phrase. He said he used it on the Bills not only for the Billy reference but also for the fact that like the original Billy, the Bills always seemed to be the underdog but somehow managed to come out on top. I remember the show when he explained it and he said that the name for the game "Circle the Wagons" may have come from the old west but he couldn't remember how the street game originally got named. He then stated that the reason he used the phrase on the show was this kid named Billy. He actually brought him on set for a second and shook his hand. It was pretty cool. Don't ask me how I remember details like this but I remember the show was on the same night that the Jays and Braves played the first ever World Series game outside US borders. Maybe that will make it findable on Youtube.

Yes, Yes and Yes. Or you could call a US Senator and have him do all your work for you. -
Rough week for bean town continues

I didn't see all of it but that "fastball" thrown to Longoria on his 3 run HR looked like something thrown in a semi-pro game on a Thursday night in the middle of June after the real pitcher had to leave because he had an early meeting the next day. Anyway the Yankees may think they were being cute when they helped eliminate the BoSox but karma will get revenge in the form of Pujols, Carpenter and Holliday. -
That is indeed awesome but where do I see the eagle? I only saw the owl in the link. The Owl sort of looks like the dudes in predator right at the end.

Plus all you have to do is call the Senator to rescue you. That is the entire point of this thread. Mea culpa be damned. -
I'm no Hall of Fame expert but if ANY of those other people make it in before Andre Reed, then something is wrong.

Now the government can do more of our work for us. Can I have senator Schumer come over to my house to make sure there are enough marshmallows in every box of Lucky Charms I buy? This crap drives me crazy. People can't get all the facts about what they buy on their own? Maybe mommy can swing by and tuck them in at night too. -

Look, buy what you want when you want but if you don't do your homework then be prepared for the unexpected. That is what the term mea culpa means and it has been handed down from generation to generation. Everyone looks over the engine, the tires and the fuel injectors when they buy a car. They should do a title search too. -

Ummm....there is a famous old Greek phrase called "mea culpa" which means "let the buyer beware". When someone buys a house, land, and/or a used car they are supposed to do what is called a title search. This process takes care of the "mea culpa". Sometimes land has a right of way or an appeasement which allow certain rights to non-owners. Sometimes cars can be followed by OnStar. If you don't do a title search you won't know. Mea culpa indeed. -
I was thinking about the same two teams and also leaning Green Bay. Eagles? Was also thinking about getting sneaky and going with the Chiefs over Minny so I didn't burn anyone, but I doubt I will do that. Can you get Beerboy to pick a team that he has already used so he gets disqualified? Make up some crap explaining how it is legal to do that if the team has a Thursday game later in the season or some other junk might work. He is not what I'd call bright. It will be a funny way for him to go out.

Either that or read a contract before you sign it. I realize involving the US Senate in every consumer complaint possible is much more fun though. -
Yes Beerboy, you can do too good a job

You can joke all you want but if there isn't proof Maury was there he is going to ask for compensation. I have a feeling his request will be for a repeat performance sans Dim Kelanay. I am trying to avoid you having to go through with this. P.S. Maury used to be short for Maureen. USED TO BE. -

I'll review it but I really would rather not be in a bad negotiating position with Maury for your sake. -

Ginny has all the samples. What do you think she puts on all those Werther's Originals she has given you over the years? That is how they get that little extra "squirt" of flavor. Anyway, does the tape CLEARLY show Maury? -

If by the scrubbers you mean Ginny then how long do you think I wait? Do you have the security tape? -

Thus no record on auto-invoice and your manual invoice was crapola. Unless you had the security cam running at the entry door Maury is going to be bothering me relentlessly. You got it? -

Dude I did not see Maury's presence on the invoice. You HAVE to do the ENTIRE job which includes proper billing. Yes the dude is creepy and that's why we charge so damn much. Geez at least sub-contract Sage to do the invoicing if you can't get it right. Anyway, this information will help me. Although you flew, Maury has no Ax to grind. No pun intended. If he was there he knows he was getting out of a charge and he also could have stopped it. You did make him swipe his badge through the reader at the beginning of the session though right? -

Please tell me you actually used the swinging trapezius, because her agent Maury is still pissed. I told him any publicity is good publicity but this guy is not letting it go. He is aporexic about it. Anyway he is claiming you used the flying trapezius which clearly would have been overkill. Any chance you got them mixed up?
