  1. Is he the really Orwellian one?
  2. I want to give this a shot. I keep information about women that very few have. Can you estimate what percentage of chicks at your school are Orwellian? If your estimate is close I promise I will guess the school.
  3. That may be the corniest point anyone has ever made here.
  4. Man, Hillary Clinton has caught a break here. Unless another candidate emerges she will win. Finally a conservative like Gingrich was running. Failings in his personal life will be his undoing. Do any of you think she can lose? I don't. Very few moderates would beat her in a general election. Every conservative I know would just not vote. Rudy has no chance.
  5. I went to one of the top High Schools in my state.
  6. Sorry, typo. It is a little over sixty per cent. I don't play high stakes though.
  7. Keep telling yourself that so you won't feel guilty, but being denied poker is not the same thing as being denied life. Bush is not Hitler and the Democratic congress is not the commanding officer at a concentration camp. I miss online poker too. I was very good at it and won about 80% of the single table tournaments I played. I'd like to see it come back but that does not make me a victim of a holocaust.
  8. Yes. "Orwellian" is slang for a fat person. It comes from people that made fun of Orson Wells. It really isn't much of an abbreviation as it uses almost all the letters. I think that is by designed because it is a long, "fat" word. Personally, I thin Mamacassian would be funnier but I have never seen it used.
  9. So approaching the speed of light, even someone like Karen Carpenter would be Orwellian?
  10. What makes these guys think up stuff like this? In a vacuum? I wonder how many failed experiments took place in blenders, stoves, washers, etc. Does the model of the vacuum change the result and how is this useful anyway? On a side note, does anyone know if Oreck is publicly traded?
  11. Man has that been all over the news or what?
  12. They clearly implied that D'Amato helped the victims of the holocaust and that poker players need the same help. It is sick and twisted that a guy would stoop to this level for a few dollars. Poker players MIGHT be receiveing unfair treatment but they are not locked away in concentration camps and put in gas chambers. You do know that happened in WW II right? President Bush is not my favorite but I am sick of people calling him Hitler or even implying a similarity. Democrats voted for this too you know. I am pretty much against what both parties did but am not worried that we'll lock up poker players and kill them off. Let's keep a little perspective. I know you like to play poker and that's cool, but is it really important enough to equate yourself with millions of starving abused and tortured people?
  13. I don't care one way or the other about online poker but this quote made me mad Comparing poker players to holocaust victims is disgusting and not necessary. People need to get some perspective.
  14. Let me see if I have this straight. You worked for 1200 hours to get back one hour? Is this a Canadian company by any chance?
  15. Does this guy have E S PEE or something? How could he start a weight loss fund raiser 18 months ago to pay for a fine that happened last week?
  16. Who needs to see some Orwellian dudes stomach hanging out?
  17. What happens if your servers don't come up right? Would you have to infringe everything all over again or would it just take an extra hour before you could use it?
  18. I think the shocking part was that he lost it so quickly. That fine was only early last week and 108 is a lot of pounds in that time. It is probably not healthy to lose it so quick. This lady was Orwellian as anything and they are acting surprised.
  19. I was busy with some pressing business so I never saw the whole story, but ESPN did not promise anything. They sold the story as specualtion and deliberately teased it so someone would think Brady was getting traded. They could promise Brady was good, but that would not be news. That would be like promising the sky is blue or that Rosie O'Donnell is Orwellian. I fixed your spelling in the quote.
  20. OMFG you are gull a bull. He just gave you the conversion formula for Centigrade, not Celcius.
  21. Very funny. He just said he can't see a thing and you ask him where he is? Obviously he would have no way of knowing.
  22. That's the greatness of the plan. It works well for the Bills, and it is pretty good for the Bears too. I doubt the Panthers will go for it.
  23. It turns out I was off a bit. The Patriots just got Moss, not the other way around. Wow. Now the Raiders need a QB AND a receiver. Maybe we can trade them Andre Smith for the pick they got from the Pats.
  24. The cat that saved rap! http://rap-cat.com/
  25. I feel bad for this woman and everything but how can this be a surprise? When you get that Orwellian a heart attack can't come as a shock. Very large woman Why do they feel the need to report this?
