  1. Maybe he should buy him a beer instead of throwing the ball to him during the game.
  2. I think you're new here so let me suggest that you out all sex posts on "Off the Wall" and keep them off the football section. And yes, I know it is only a BJ, but it still counts as sex even if Bill Clinton doesn't think so.
  3. I think you're being sarcastic but will answer anyway. I think we should probably root for the Bills to lose next week. This doesn't mean the Bills should try to lose. Of course they should try to win. Rooting and playing are two different things. Marv Levy said something like "If I listened to the fans I'd be sitting with them." As for the San Fran game I think losing a game like that at home would hurt too much mentally and might cause other problems. We should root for the Bills in that one. That would put them at 3-1 against the NFC which isn't great but better than 4-0.
  4. Well the tie-breakers almost always kick in. If they didn't happen last year it makes it even more obvious that they will happen this year.
  5. It's just one game. To be in the best overall poition they should be 2-2 against the NFC. This strikes the proper balance between wins and tie-breaker edge. Right now, the Bills are in a tough spot. They are 2-0 so could end up 2-2 but having a home game against a relatively weak team like SF makes it unlikely.
  6. Dude. My original post uses the word inevitable. Please look it up if you don't understand it.
  7. And Peters shouldn't make Trent bounce balls off of linebackers helmets 30 yards downfield. And he also shouldn't let him throw picks to a guy and then be shown hugging him and having a long conversation after the game.
  8. Last time I checked Jeff Fisher wouldn't put his team in that position.
  9. Hardy didn't get suspended so it has to be even more than that.
  10. Dude! Please re-read the original post. It is a given that there will be a tie. So we might as well have a lot of AFC wins. I'm not saying the Bills should try to lose. I am saying that the real fans will root for them to lose to NFC teams. The tie braker rules may be stupid if they force fans to root aginst their own team, but they are the rules. I would rather have the Bills in the playoffs and root for them in week 18 or week 19 than be happy about a win in week 5.
  11. Maybe he should change his name from "Mr. Pro Bowl" to "Mr. Everything Edwards screws up gets blamed on me" Peters. It can't be Edwards fault because he has pocket presence.
  12. Losing to an NFC team helps because that means you will beat an AFC team and your AFC record will be improved.
  13. Well duh. But the 16-0 and 16-0 records proposed were simply hyperthetical. The odds against that are high. He actually meant if both teams were 13-3 or maybe 12-4. In these cases we lose out by beating the Cardinals.
  14. What do you know about my posy? Answer: nothing. The Googlebot for example has a better grasp on logic that 417 average humans combined. I have a hamster that makes more sense than most people I know.
  15. I explained all of this in my orginal post. Please re-read it. I am not trying to be negative here. It is great that we are finally winning. I am merely pointing out facts. I am happy but not so caught up in the hype that I forget about simple math.
  16. Dude, there wouldn't be a tie breaker but you miss the point. Tie breakers come into play EVERY YEAR in the NFL. There is no mathematical way to avoid them.
  17. And by winning 4 games against NFC teams we'd lose any tie breaker to the Titans if they were also 16-0.
  18. It sure is nice being 4-0 but this is the NFL. Parity is reality and no team is easy to beat. It is almost inevitable that there will be several ties for playoff positions. The Bills are in a really bad position on tie breakers already. They are 2-0 against NFC opponents and will probably beat San Fran when they play them. That puts them at 3-0. This means if they win next week, they will end up losing just about any tie-breaking scenario as the NFC games count less. They might do ok within the division but if they are tied for a wild card they are in big trouble. This sounds weird, but if you want the Bills to make the playoffs, you should root for them to lose next week.
  19. Dude. Melanoma is skin pigment. Everyone has some but black people have way more than white people. As pasty as McCain is, he clearly has almost none. If he meant skin cancer then he just made a mistake. Seratonin is the technical term for skin cancer. I am not sure I spelled it right.
  20. Obama is not that old and skin pigment does not matter in health. That is possibly the most racist post I have ever seen.
  21. Watch out. You can get banned for spelling stuff backwards about Ed. I'm not sure what "suebmulp non tse medatupsid" means, but It sure doesn't sound very nice.
  22. Dude, I think it is cool of you to show up in this thread with people making fun of gays in it left and right. You know who you are, you don't listen to them and you state your opinion. I think both Egyln and JK were out of line and I wondered if you were reading this. It is so cool that you just let it go past without being offended. They're not worth it. I'm not sure what to think about Palin or Obama or McCain or Biden but it is just cool that you don't let all of the gay stuff bother you.
  23. I hope the pregnant goose doesn't lay another egg. Does anyone know when he gets sentenced for allegedly trying to kill his father? Will Roscoe be back by then?
  24. Nice feigned recovery. Now scoot over to the library and look up feigned.
  25. How can you ask for subject-verb agreement when you can't even achieve sport-sport agreement? College nerds.
