The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald by Cat Stevens.

Are those all Honda Fits going through the drive-thru?

We could trade our #1 for McNabb or we could throw in Edwards and additional 4th to Philly for taking him. We can get a backup in FA or late in the draft and that would leave us with our 2nd and 3rd round picks for a center and a TE. This means we'd have to sign an OLB and a DE in free agency. It makes things tough with two fewer draft picks but if we could GET McNabb and DISPENSE of Trent all in one move it would be a real coo. I think that in the long run Philly will keep McNabb. We'll be back to our original plan of Sanchez in the 1st.

Do you know any cable TV repair men?

Ummmm, I can't think how to put this.

How the heck did they track down that racoon and get an interview? -

Movie or Television Series endings that sucked....
ieatcrayonz replied to millbank's topic in Off the Wall Archives
It's an old one but The Andy Griffin show when O.P. was kidnapped, tortured and killed by Don Knotts was pretty bad. It didn't make sense with the rest of the show at all. -
We need one player at each of those positions. We need 2 QBS and you left QB off? Why?
-
Blaming Jauron for Trent's suckiness is like blaming the Phillies manager because Jamie Moyer doesn't throw a 120 MPH fastball.
-
If people were screaming every time Trent screwed up there would be a lot of shattered eardrums in Buffalo. I think we need a veteran Gus Frerotte type to be our starter for two years and draft a rookie to start a few years out. The JP lesson is: Never give a QB too many chances. JP had too many and Trent has already had too many. They have different problems and similar problems. JP is jittery and makes bad decisions. He got too many chances because of his very strong arm. Trent is weak armed and makes bad decisions in addition to being a Los Gato. He got too many chances because he is calm. He is so calm he doesn't even appear to give a crap that he completely sucks. When he said he loves Jauron to death, I think he meant coaching death. One more year of Trent and Jauron could be as aggressive as Coach of the week Rex Ryan but it wouldn't matter. Strong arms and calmness are nice but you need to make good decisions and not be a glove wearing Mary. Both Trent and JP will be gone sooner or later without ever having produced a thing. With JP we know it wil be sooner. We can only hope with Trent.

Learn to coach what you have

Gene Hackman also said that in a movie. Maybe we should just toss our judicial system. -

EII was never put in a Russian gulag so who gives a crap about gulags? -

As long as they don't kill EII then who gives a crap? There are like 250 million people in America. Just let them go and maybe give them a new suit and a few grand. As long as EII is alive and well, nobody should care. They can kill, what maybe a few hundred people? The odds of one of them being EII are really low. -
Jauron is not aggressive enough to volunteer where he can and show up at the campus parties with his own bottle of liquor. This means we need to augment the staff with someone who will.
-
Well I did say perhaps. It is good to see he is still applying himself in football. He is a fat guy who yells and he coaches line. His preference is O=line. He has three of the four factors we need. Maybe there is someone better but Jauron should not forget about this guy.
-
We have already established that Rex Ryan is awesome. Why not get a guy that is like him to coach our line? Years ago we had a guy named Carl Mauch or Mauck or something like that. He was very fat and yelled a lot. This is very Rex Ryan-esque. Perhaps we should bring him back.

Dolphins new owner seeks government aid
ieatcrayonz replied to RLflutie7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Asking the government for money is an aggressive move of an organization that wants to win. You can bet the mild mannered Dick Jauron never thought of this. -
Item: Rex Ryan has a press conference during which he warns the NFL about how great he is and how the rest of the league is doomed. Conclusion: Jauron will never be aggressive enough. Moral: If youre a complete idiot, at least be a loud complete idiot. Item: Jauron is compared to wrestling stars. Conclusion: He is so boring he would probably use the sleeper hold because he will never be aggressive enough. Moral: Wrestling is a good gauge of judging NFL coaches due to the need for aggression which Jauron will never have. Item: Kollar goes to Texans. Thanks Jauron for being a professional boss. Conclusion: Jauron did not hold Kollar captive when he had the option, therefore he is not aggressive enough. Moral: Aggression is what it takes to keep coaches and Jauron doesn't have it. We haven't even replaced Kollar yet and he left 27 hours ago. At this rate we will have no coaches on opening day. Overall moral: Class is overrated and being a jerk is what defines a real man and coach. Rex Ryan, most wrestlers and the Texans fron office are real men. If we were all like Rex Ryan we the world would be a better place. Everyone should be like Rex Ryan. Jauron will never win because he is not aggressive enough. An aggresssive coach would win even if his QB had hair highlight appointments every Thursday instead of practice. If Jauron would simply start yelling we would win. Why won't he yell? Rex Ryan will probably yell so loud that if Trent were a Jet, his hair highlights would get catapulted into the upper deck. We love Rex Ryan.

No. Mr. Perfect was named Curt Henning. At the time his dad was the OC for the Bills. Mr. Perfect attended a lot of Bills games. Mr. Wonderful was definitely Paul Orton and no I did not get fooled by your Peter Pan link. Technically it was Mr. #1derful. Anyway Koko B. Ware was not the same as the Junkyard Dog but he did wear a mask in a few matches and posed as a member of the British Bulldogs. Maybe that got some people confused.

A tazer story. (an e-mail I just got )
ieatcrayonz replied to erynthered's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Dude next time you're out pick me up 8 of those things. Make sure to hide one under the faux rock at servant mansion #7 in case Sven gets uppity. Bring the rest to me and do NOT let Sammy see them. I think I just figured out a way of breaking him of his sing song nice guy thing. And don't try anything yourself. The solution is more complex than you think. -
Cowboy Bob Orton and Mr. Wonderful Paul Orton were the same guy like Cactus Jack and Mankind. There was never anyone named Paul Orndorff. You are mixing things up with the short guy from the Carol Burnett show.

He had a club and was freakishly strong.
