This thread is certainly a disappointment. I did a buy black experiment once and was interested in seeing what other people found in their experience. I have so many things that buying new stuff gets boring. I try new ideas to spice things up and "buy black" was one of them. For a whole three days EVERYTHING I bought was black. And I mean everything. I bought a Bently that had everything black. EVERYTHING. I couldn't tell what speed I was going because the speed indicator was black with a black background. It was hard to drive at night because the black headlights illuminated literally nothing. It was difficult and I was wondering how long someone else could last. I did a buy blue and a buy red and a buy green stage too and they were a little easier. Basing purchases on race seems weird to me.

If it isn't three and a half times as good as your argument then there must be an error somewhere.

Dude they have a lot of work to do over there and I doubt there is much time to watch movies.

Bush, Obama, Race and Baseball
ieatcrayonz replied to ieatcrayonz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Dude the facts are this: Bonds is black Clemens is white A-Rod is halfway in between Bush is white Obama is black Bush would stop at nothing to crush Bonds Obama will stop at nothing to crush Clemens They are both leaving A-Rod alone These FACTS are not in dispute. The question is whether it is simple racism on the part of Bush/Obama or they are making it look that way to divert our attention from other things. I think it is diversion and evidently you think it is simple racism. Either way could be true and it is not necessary to criticize the other possibility. I have listed 8 facts to back up my theory. Also, part of my theory recognizes that Obama hired Biden who is white and Bush hired Rice who is black. This could also be a diversion but a racist would not like putting up with someone lie that so closely 24/7. -

Bush, Obama, Race and Baseball
ieatcrayonz replied to ieatcrayonz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Dude it took forever for Bush to charge Bonds. It seems that it may be Bonds' biggest offense in Bush's eyes was skin color. Obama is acting the same as Bush so it will probably take a while before Clemens is charged. Again the big probelm is skin color. Both Obama and Bush need to hide their racism so they wait and wait to trump up some other baloney. How is one better than the other? I think it is VERY possible that the whole thing is just a ploy and that Bush and Obama are working together. They want to look racist. Otherwise they would have both gone after Alex Rodriguez but neither did. This is because he has an anglo first name an an hispanic last name. You may have noticed that the anti-ARod author has an anglo last name and an hispanic first name. Both parties have to be careful with hispanics or at least make it appear that way. -
Well the fans basically got rid of clean up the city boy in favor of a glove wearing Mary from Los Gatos, so that is some influence.

I am not too political and I know a lot about baseball, so I debated posting this in the baseball forum. I decided to post it here because the issue of race is more important to our country than the issue of baseball. Some day, Martin Luthor King's dream of nobody even noticing skin color will come true and a post like this can go in the baseball forum. Anyway, does it bother anybody that while Bush wsa president that all you heard about was Barry Bonds this and Barry Bonds that? Fast forward to now and who is the evil villian of steroids? Roger Clemens. I get it. Everybody gets it: White president black villian, black president white villian. I think it is disgusting that presidents are going after baseball players to begin with, but to do it based on race is just too much. If there were ever two guys that don't have a right to be presumed innocent it is these two. Why decide who to attack based on their race? Why not get them both? This goes equally for Bush and Obama. They both look bad. If they want to fight about race they should do it out in the open, not by picking and choosing baseball players to attack. Americans are smart and see right through this.

I agree that the Bills SHOULD not have picked Smith at 11, but to say they COULD not is incorrect. A player can be re-drafted within the same round and if so, he is treated like a franchise player in that round. If the Bills had picked Smith, Cincy could have matched the Bills offer or the Bills would have had to give Cincy a fist rounder in '10 and '11. Obviously, it is not worth the risk, but it is within the rules. Doing this with a 5th or 6th round pick is sometimes viable if a team really likes someone. Giving up 2 #5s might be ok. I think Baltimore did this to Seattle or San Fran last year in the 6th round.

The Bills still could have picked him but the Bengals would have the right to match any offer because they had picked him first.

Some people might not call it toughness but that is for another thread. RIP.

Chef reeeeeeeeeeeeally wants to tell you that I already said that but his keyboard is too sticky. He has Sage's friend booked on the first flight out to lick the problem.

Just a hunch that your window of opportunity may have passed if those events occured last week.

That was a simply brilliant post. Bravo sir, Bravo. In one line you imply you are indeed Ed, you imply that sex is being withheld for a lame reason only Ed would believe, and the very fact you waited this long to post infers that Ed is only allowed to post on his birthday. You make the whole thing seem so real. Well done.

Loosely translated, you are correct. The literal translation is: He who sacrifices the family's pants and any semblance of self autonomy for the mere notion of intimacy which will be forever withheld. Was IBTG81 Sage's old screen name?
