DJ thanks you for the vote of confidence

This thread has very specific rules laid out. It is ok to speak freely in here. Don't be intimidated by negative and mean posters.

DJ thanks you for the vote of confidence
-
I see your sarcasm and I get it. I don't think it is fair. All of the people in this thread came in here to support Jauron. It is ok if you don't support him but please keep it in another thread. People like Erynthered, Naniker, DPR4444, Beerball, CodeMonkey, stuckincincy, renfruzetz, Jerry Jabber, jo39416, GG, thebug, Stevie Ray, KD in CT, Mr Obvious, jackspikes, OrangeJuiceSimps..., Don, Thoner7, bobcat, Joe in Macungie, Tcali, bills fan in ral..., evilbuffalobob, zazie, blzfan4life, crazydingo, Cereal, Rockpile, Bleed Bills Blue, and True have all unmistakenly given a vote of confidence to DJ. You can agree or disagree but at least please allow them a place to show their support without mockery. Thanks.

Gunmen loose at Fort Hood

Steely was ahead? What'd I miss? Was that like a thread from three years ago or something? -
It doesn't matter how he came and went just that he came and went. Fisher was letting Ralph know that this wouldn't happen with him coaching.

Do you want to Keep Jauron or Fire Jauron
ieatcrayonz replied to Poeticlaw's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't like the tone of threads like this. It's not your fault, they just tend to devolve into bad language. I started a thread asking for those that support Jauron to let themselves be known just by posting. I asked to not even talk about Jauron but just to post about anything to be counted as a supporter. I was surprised how many people support him. I think the thread is still on the front page and is called "vote of confidence". -
Ted Nolan; not Lindy

You'd be an ingrate too if your kid popped out looking exactly like your coach.
-
Yup. It is pretty clear that he is gone.

I hate the arguments that go on here sometimes. I'd like to keep this thread away from that. Although Dick Jauron is mostly unpopular, I am interested in finding out whether some of you support him. If you do, please post in this thread. If you do not, stay out. By posting in this thread you'll show your support for Jauron. But let's keep from taunting the other side. They are entitled to their opinions. So instead of saying bad things about people that want Jauron fired, or even talking about Jauron at all, just post about anything. Perhaps if you like a certain kind of car, you can post about it here. Thanks.

Good thing he didn't talk with Deion Sanders or they'd ban him for life. You gotta love the NCAA's efforts to be more crooked than the NBA.

Can we please stop demonizing Jauron

Did you see Rex Ryan? When the Jets were getting owned again, he screamed and screamed and screamed. We need a guy like that. -
NBA fixed beyond what I ever imagined
ieatcrayonz replied to bills_fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
If the NBA were fixed someone would be able to predict the outcome. You know, like saying in February 2009 that a Celtics player would sustain an "injury" which led to a final pitting the Lakers against either the Hawks or the Magic which the Lakers would win in 5. Did anyone predict that? -
I don't think he is desparate to be noticed, he just had a hard time understanding the topic.

I edited the title. Hope it helps.

Browns first year coach won't be fired Chiefs ditto Raiders You think Fisher wants any part of that? Eagles I'd say Andy Reid is well entrenched. Redskins Campbell has played every game for two years Lions first year coach and QB Panthers(most likely soon) They haven't changed a thing yet and he knows Cowher has that job Bucs first year coach Rams To which owner is he sending a message? 49ers Singletary isn't going anywhere Seahawks first year coach Bills Ding Ding Ding

I can see how it would seem like a crooked line but it is not. Step 1 is a clear identification by Fisher that he is done with the Titans. He can't say it directly, but it is obvious as he pretty much states he is in 100% disagreement with the owner. Step 1 would be enough to end the topic but he proceeds to step 2, which could only relate to what he wants to do AFTER the Titans. In step 2 he talks about how he wants to pick a QB and stick with him. We have established this is not about the Titans, but who could it be about? What team will probably have a new coach in 2010? There are several. Which of those is in this position because of musical QBs? That narrows the list doesn't it?
-
Musical chairs at QB has nothing to do with the Bills? Fitzpatrick Edwards Losman Holcomb Bledsoe How many QBs can Jauron possibly start in such a short span? The first part of Fisher's interview showed a clear dissatisfaction with Adams. He seems to know that ship has sailed. He then rapidly changed gears and gave his own philosophy of QBing. That philosophy would be refreshing to the Bills who have a QB controversy brewing again. He is not being allowed to implement it with his current employer.

I don't know much about politics but I was under the impression that both press which leans left and press which leans right have a right to exist. Politicians calling either biased seems out of bounds to me. Brown seems to be suggesting the White House should criticize left and right and force everyone to the middle with rhetoric. Was she born in Canada?

Vince Young will be starting QB for the Titans this week and it seems like for the rest of the season. There was an interview with Jeff Fisher on ESPN this morning. He said it was a group decision but also has been quoted as saying he is in K. Collins camp. Owner Bud Adams wanted Young. This kind of stuff happens. It seems like a rift developing between Adams and Fisher. Even though Fisher has been a very good coach sometimes things spin out of control and this seems to be one of those times. Fisher is 0-6 and being forced to play a QB when he prefers another. None of it can be a surprise, but when Fisher came out with his next quote it made it clear he was sending a message to Ralph Wilson. I only saw it on TV but the ESPN.com article had the closest written account: Link That is an obvious broadside at Jauron and Bud Adams meant to get Ralph's attention. It is not fair to Jauron but Fisher is making it known he would bring consistency. I wonder which of our QBs he prefers or maybe he would bring Collins with him.

Interesting article on bicycles and traffic laws
ieatcrayonz replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Bicylists are the ones constantly defending their indefensible behavior so it is far more likely the bicyclist, not the driver will be headed to a NAMBLA meeting. -

See this is the problem with national health care. The government only gives out the nuts at Christmas so you think they are a gift. Your taxes paid for that nut!!! -

ieatcrayonz replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
The rules on the road can't be the same because bicyclists are spandex wearing Marys incapable of shouldering any responsibility. Bicyclists are special because they have to worry about so many things. A sailboat does not have to worry about falling off the lake into a ditch. Bicyclists have to worry about the color schemes of their spandex, if their helmet is aerodynamic enough to cut a second off their 12 minute mile, if they have enough water in their special little bottles and if they will ever pedal enough to churn away the angst of never making a sports team since they were eight years old. You really can't expect them to worry about rules of the road when they have much bigger fish to fry. -

By ratio he means: A 50 to 1 ratio means that one thing happens 50 times for every one time the other thing happens. Ratios are used in statistics but also in things like recipes. "Two cups of sugar and a teaspoon of salt". Does that help? Is it enough detail for you? Where did you go to school?
