So These 4 Players Are There When Bills Pick
ieatcrayonz replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe Poz' hair will protect him. I mean have you seen it? -
Do you agree about Poz' hair?
-
I have thought about it but even the slightest distraction like a piece of paper will probably result in a panic attack. It wouldn't be a nice thing to do. I have as much or more respect for old people than anyone so I would never do that.
-
Poz has beautiful hair and has played pretty well this year. That is the plus side. On the downside, he put in a good word for Maybinot and that guy is killing us. He should stick to linebacking.

I have as much or more respect for old people than anyone, but let's face it, logic is a concept whose ship sailed on them a while ago. Why do they need to back into parking spaces? You either need to back in, or back out. Backing into a lane to leave is easier than backing between two parked cars with people waiting in the lane. WTF? Seriously. I could see if it was a few old people but it is ALL of them. I'd ask them to stop but very few of them know how to use the internet.

DC detective not happy about getting vehicle pelted

Hippies should not throw snowballs at cops. -
Dump Josh Reed and keep James Hardly.

There are plenty of reasons the Bills have not lived up to what could have been this year and the past few years. I am not really talking about the whole decade, just maybe the last 2 or 3 years. There have been plenty of disappointments. It is impossible to blame this all on one player, coach or even owner. That said, the Bills have clearly whiffed on a couple of important picks. To be specific, I am talking about James Hardly and Aaron Maybinot. Could these guys possibly be any worse? They can't BOTH be the worst though. Let's decide who is: The prosecution against Hardly: About 10 minutes after being drafted, he allegedly tried to kill his father. He has recovered from his injury but cannot manage to be dressed for games ahead of Justin Jenkins. We needed line help but instead took a WR with a high pick. Runs like Frankenstein The prosecution against Maybinot: 11th overall pick; 2,563rd overall production. Okrapo picked afterwards Held out for no reason but unfounded arrogance He spends a lot of time on Twitter when he should be practicing. The defense of Hardly: Many receivers take 8 or 9 years to "get it". We signed TO so his spot was taken. He got hurt. The defense for Maybinot: Poz advocating drafting him so it is not really his fault. Poz' beautiful hair confused Modrak. He spends a lot of time on Twitter communicating with fans. Any other factors to accuse or defend? Who is worse?

Driving Pet Peeves - Mine Deals With Changing Lanes
ieatcrayonz replied to Steely Dan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
This is the driving pet peeves thread, not the peep show on skid row pet peeves thread. -
So does sucking. As for clean up the city boy, I think some people like him because he embraced Buffalo. His strong arm did not hurt either. I'm not saying it is right or wrong. I think he still has his house doesn't he?

I think Obama is trying to trick them by promising huge sums of dollars. Huge sums of dollars used to mean huge sums of wealth, but pretty soon a trillion dollars will be worth about 14 cents. What the heck is a dictator going to do with 14 cents? That ought to be fun to watch. Obama.

I can see how you might think he was Canadian as he sat around all night staring into space like he had 37 Molsons in him. He also produced nothing at all for society except for a stupid phrase that basically gave us Al Gore. Even Canadians never gave us Al Gore. Canada itself did not even exist at the time of Galileo. I suppose in a way Galileo was pre-Canadian. I think the hair was a function of scissors not being invented yet so we can't really call him pre-hippy.

Galileo invented the telescope. It was very expensive and funded by the government which is signified by "the means". The means needed to be justified. The light from space shone through "the end" of the telescope and revealed great mysteries from space. When Galileo had to justify the crown's investment, he told the royalty that "The end justifies the means". This was meant to signify what a great revelation the telescope gave us. Although it was certainly nice, it was not worth the money because Galileo couldn't do Jack with outer space except stare at it. He was mocked in his day. Afterward though, the phrase came to be understood differently. The end no longer meant the end of the telescope, but the result. The means could still be money or a method to do something. The means could be deceptive or just plain lame and stupid like Al Gore's poem. The other poster is confused as Machiavelli was a tough guy. He employed Galileo's phrase when he was pushing people around to get what he wanted. He became known as the "Macho Man" which is the origin of that phrase. I am not sure where this Sophocles guy comes in but I think Machiavelli started in with his crap during his second year in High School. So Sophocles=sophomore? We could ask Cincy, he might remember what happened. Whatever. My overall point is that Al Gore's stupid poem is a shining example of Galileo's phrase whereas Chavez let's everyone know who he is. I'll bet he gets way more chicks than Gore.

I was taken into custody one time for suspiscion of killing Sammy. I was released the same day. I'm not sure if that is an arrest but there was no conviction as Sammy is still alive and well.

Galileo once said that "The end justifies the means". This has been debated throughout history. Some agree and some disagree. In my opinion, the truth is always the best alternative. The phony baloney crap sometimes works, but most of the time the direct approach would have worked anyway. Because of this, I have to say that Galileo was an idiot. Think about it in simple terms. When you were a kid trying to pick up on chicks, you probably worked through all sorts of strategies in your head on "what she would like" or "what I should do to make her notice me" when in reality all you had to do was be yourself and let nature take its course. All sorts of categories of people rose out out of these ridiculous fears and strategies. The world certainly could have done without hippies and beatniks that's for sure. But no, these losers had to create a whole fake society just because they couldn't get up the nerve to ask some broad out. Thanks a lot for the extra smells, constant lecturing, and incoherent rambling. In today's world we are quickly evolving toward a new variety of hippy. Let's call them enviro-hippies. These losers are not interested in chicks so much. They are mostly interested in being lazy. That would be fine but they also have guilt. They want to convince everyone else to be lazy too. Typically, they want to be in overall charge of the laziness. One diversion they have used is "global warming". They basically say that unless we all stop producing, we're all going to die because of carbon dioxide, which is a mixture of carbon and air. This makes no sense as there is plenty of air to go around. They should really pick another excuse. Anyway, if they are going to go for their laziness goal, let them go for it. Whatever. The part that bothers me is when they start getting all indirect like pimply faced teenagers. They use vehicles like incredibly crappy poetry to get their point in. Geez, why not just start snapping your fingers and wearing a beret Al? Holy crap. At least say what you mean. It tends to get a good reaction whether it is from chicks, commies or whatever. This is true even if the chicks or commies are pretending to be something else like a librarian or a climate scientist. The bottom line is that if Galileo weren't such an idiot, I wouldn't have to constantly listen to Al Gore. So although I like to be nice to people, especially the dead, I simply have to say....... you Galileo.

Fired for running a fantasy football league
ieatcrayonz replied to KD in CA's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree 100% that the impression of gambling is B A D bad for an investment firm, but in these trying economic times, the perception of ineptitude is even worse. I have a feeling Fidelity fired the guy for even discussing the merits of using Trent in an FFL. This is VERY stupid. Almost Canadian stupid. I am willing to bet that there are still other FFLs at Fidelity and Trent is probably not on a single roster. Those dudes are still employed. If the guy has a lawsuit it has nothing to do with gambling but everything to do with the Equal Protection Clause in the Declaration of Independence. If it can be proven that other FFLs exist at Fidelity, they are committing "Los Gatos discrimiation". This can probably be made to be worth a lot of money. -
Byrd's pics are great.....but
ieatcrayonz replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Worked for OJ, not for Trent. So that is not every time. -
I would be shocked if the government can figure this out for $64k. I don't see any way. I would bet it will take them at least $10M. I think Len is purposely trying to make the number sound low to cover his butt. I would bet anything it ends up costing way more than $64k.

Did you start this thread just to show off the new skills John Adams taught you?

Is that by Deep Purple?

Name a CD you really like and think others would like but......... it has to be a CD that you think not many people have heard. In other words don't put Abbey Lane by The Beatles or anything like that.

During the Super Bowl years you could call us "2nd best" as we made it and lost. But who was 2nd best, in your opinion, in the AFC over those four years as a whole. We beat the Raiders, Broncos, Dolphins and Chiefs in the championship games. The Oilers were good, the Steelers had moments. Anybody else? Who do you think was 2nd overall?

Please tell me you said that you refuse to wash his balls. -
We could get the trifecta: A complete and utter bust named Williams A complete and utter bust named Trent To complete the circle.....a complete and utter bust named Trent Williams.
