A Kitch 22 is a no win situation. You're darned if you do, darned if you don't. In this case, if Cowher wants an established QB he won't come here. If he thinks of either Fitz or Edwards as established he is clearly not too bright and we don't want him anyway. Either way we lose. Did I explain that better this time? Sorry if it was unclear.
-
What part of "established" did you not understand?
-
The media reports that Cowher has very few demands with regard to a roster for his new team but an established QB is one of the demands. This means, if the reports are accurate, the Bills can't win with Cowher. It is a Kitch 22. If he wants an established QB he wouldn't come here for Fitz/Edwards. Brohm may have a chance but is certainly not established. If he thinks of Fitz or Edwards as "established" we don't want him. Our only hop is that the media reports are incorrect. This is a possibility.

True enough about Wanny but at least he is man enough to admit his faults. Saban is a blowhard who runs when the going gets tough. I wish he was still there.

You are right. EVERY team in the NFL has to deal with duplicitous over-egoed lying dirt bags like Saban and Petrino at some point. I'm glad it happened to the Dolphins. I don't think Cameron was helped or hurt by the Saban situation other than that Saban had run the Dolphins into the ground. He got out while the getting was good. We'll really never know if Cameron could turn it around because Parcells brought his own team which was again neither a postitive or a negative regarding Cameron. Cameron was merely transitional between the Saban disgrace/debacle and the turnaround with Parcells. I don't really want Cameron, but to be fair no one could have expected him to pick up Saban's pieces because there were too many pieces to pick up. That was one broken organization. I wish Saban had stayed there.

On this day in history in 1813...

You sound vindictive. Are you still mad that the drug testing controversy between Pacqiao and Mayweather ruined Boxing day? -
Maybe they'll just announce that we all made it halfway through the coldest month of the year.

Color me surprised that Canadians had discovered fire by 1813. -
I think this emoticon deserves a thread of its own

You should put that emoticon on your web show. -

Obama's "reaction" to Iran's civilian slayings.

Maybe Ghandi was ahead of his time and hiding explosives in all of that underwear he always had on. -
Why is it not ok to profile? Think about this: If we had considered this bomber dude had been called out three times by his own father, was a radical mormon, had purchased a one way ticket with cash, brought no luggage and was already on a watch list could we have stopped this easily? Before you say "profiling is bad and against our belief system" answer the following honestly: You walk into a room and they ask you to pick out the person with the lowest IQ. They emphatically state that it is not a trick question. There is a million dollar prize for picking the right person. There are 30 people of varying shapes and sizes. One guy has a dirty baseball cap with a Maple Leaf on the front, very few teeth, appears drunk and says "eh" a lot. Are you going to pick him or the guy in a Bricks Brothers suit? My point is this: Everybody profiles every day. Sometimes it is wrong, but sometimes it is right. Worrying about Mormon bombers is no different than realizing Canadians are dumb. Wishing something would go away does not make it go away.

That's a nice theory coming from that head that is still attached to your shoulders. It's a good thing that it is not rolling down a flight of stairs or imprinted with treadmarks from a tank. -

Tell that to the Iranian protestor with his head rolling down a flight of stairs. -
Name Three Owners Worse Than Old Ralph
ieatcrayonz replied to San-O's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That would be a great post if you had proper context. The context you lack is that the OP hasn't said anything positive about the Bills since before Al Gore invented the internet. They lost 31-3 to the Falcons and that necessitated the "Ralph is the most inept man on the planet" thread. To answer the original post, at least the Giants ownership must be worse because they lost by more points yesterday. -
I think Westside was going to use the handcuffs for something a little kinkier. Not to mention gross and not showing as much or more respect for old people than anyone. Shameful. Just shameful.

Interview question I am faced with.....

I am sure a part of the stomach acid of a croc or gator is air. At some point though it dissolves and in no longer a golf ball bringing the total down by 1. -

ieatcrayonz replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
I already told him that but pointed out that bad golfers' balls that are currently in rivers, lakes and oceans are only one third in air as water is two parts hydrogen and 1 part air. -
Ok, so a team that wants to excel in a given year will go into the season hoping to break even on the road at 4-4 and go 8-0 at home for a 12-4 record. Maybe 5-3 and 7-1 is more realistic but the point is that you make your record at home. If the Bills win Saturday they will have fulfilled their 4-4 road goal. At home they are not good at all. This has been a trend for the last few years. While clearly OJ should come down from the Wall of Fame , I think the "12th Man" should be next unless the trend reverses itself. Statistically speaking the fans are actually HURTING the Bills. Everyone else on the wall HELPED. I am a person who believes in earning accolades, not just accepting them. As a fan, it is embarrassing to be up there at this point.

I have stated repeatedly that I have as much or more respect for old people than anyone. I don't know why they would put corn in their shoes but whatever. I just don't get the whole backing in thing. It is not just around Christmas but gets noticed more because lots are more full. You have to go backwards once and forward once. Why deliberately make it harder? I may delete this thread as frankly people have not shown the proper respect in it. It is not just old people that go .05 in a parking lot for example. Soccer moms do that too. Jeez. Talk about stereotyping. And what the heck is an ile? I'm confused.

DC detective not happy about getting vehicle pelted
ieatcrayonz replied to Beerball's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Hippies abound. The cop was holding a walkie talkie, not a gun. Edit: Despite my worries about it being a Peter Pan link, I watched your video. It was a gun for the first 10 seconds of the video. The cop took it out briefly, pointed it at the ground only and re-holstered it. He probably had to clean the snow from the hippies off of it. From that point forward the jobless hippies ranted and raved and chanted slogans. "Attica. Attica." Hooray for them. They made use of their otherwise worthless day. They also learned how to spell Biller. Wow. They probably forgot how once they got home and smoked some dope. Did it ever occur to these morons that some people who actually have jobs might want to get to work without being hammered by snowballs?
