Hey guys, I'm back again. I know there is a LOT wrong with this team right now (understatement), but there's also no denying that our pass defense played its heart out. The Bills' six interceptions have the chance to make NFL Network's Weekly Countdown this week--that is, if Bills fans can vote them in. After we got Freddy Jackson in for the Week 2 show, it's become a running joke around here (NFL Films) that Bills fans are unstoppable when it comes to supporting their team in these polls. Actually, the league thought this item wouldn't make it, but the Weekly Countdown show head guaranteed the Bills fans would come through. I've posted this on the bb.com board as well, so let's prove the league wrong!! Alright, so Freddy ended up in 10th place. It's not as high as we'd like to see him, but considering that there were some pretty incredible performances this week, it's great to see him included. It's not really about the placement--but the fact that he's getting recognized! Keep an eye out for it tomorrow at 4:30 PM on NFLN or NFL.com, and thanks for all the voting! Good job Bills fans!

Oh, they're Billievers now! I'll definitely update tomorrow with which number on the countdown he got--he's in though, and he wasn't going to be before you guys got involved, so CONGRATS! Everyone here was blown away by the Freddy love! You can watch the show Wed. at 4:30 on NFLN, or on NFL.com.

My showhead tells me that if you keep going back through NFL.com and click on the "Weekly Countdown" link (first thing under headlines), you should be able to vote multiple times. UPDATE: Fred is now tenth. His biggest competitors are the Chicago Field Goals and Atlanta's Air and Ground Attack. So, try not to vote for them. Awesome work, guys!

Ha, I just got a phone call from the show head asking me what I did. Apparently Freddy's numbers are going through the roof and he just overtook the number 11 spot! Way to go Bills fans!

I just double checked how it works. Make sure you put Freddy as your number one choice--it's weighted, so he has a better chance if he's your number one. Also, the Bears winning FG and the Ravens D are both right in front of him vote-wise, so don't vote for them!

Yeah, the idea is that you pick the 11 you want to see in the show, but it does inflate votes for other plays because, for example, most people are probably going to put Drew Brees or the Jets in their brackets, even if they really came to vote for Fred Jackson or Frank Gore. So, every vote for Fred doesn't necessarily help him if almost all the people in front of him get a vote at the same time. Ah, well.

Well, it's my show, so I can answer for it. I reviewed every single win, and mentioned the record as the season progressed. I didn't cover losses (except for the Cleveland game very briefly) because no one wants to be reminded of them. Can you be more specific about what you would have rather seen? Or did you just miss the first half of the show? What was the first scene you saw? Thanks for the input. I'd like to hear it from everyone who watched. And I'm sorry that ESPN programming sucks. I wish I could send all of you copies.

I'll just say I was with another girl who's...let's just say not skinny...and he certainly didn't act repulsed by her. There was a third cute girl with us too. So take that as you will. Also, his very pretty, stick-thin wife was next to him when we approached him, although she walked away. But I was also just remembering how I was watching some pre-game footage at NFL Films where the ref screwed up the coin toss and the half-possible-centaur started chewing out the ref really hard. He was being a complete d*ck about it, even though the screw-up didn't really affect the toss. It was surprising. Maybe that's the kind of stuff that gets him a bad rap. /Either way, I wish he was my dad.

I met Bruschi at an awards ceremony a few years ago, and he was incredibly nice. I wanted to hate him so badly, but in the few minutes we talked, he acted interested in what I had to say about my job, etc. and asked a lot of questions. It's entirely possible it was just an act he puts on at black tie events, but I was disappointed that I came away liking him.

Hey guys, I already posted this on the bb.com message board, but I wanted to be sure to post it here as well. The 2007 Buffalo Bills Highlight will be airing on ESPN2 at 1:30 am on August 7th--not exactly prime time, so set your DVRs if interested. It was also supposed to air locally on channel 7 sometime in July, but I never got a date on that, so I apologize if it already aired without a warning from me. Hopefully it will help pump you up for 2008!

Yeah, except a lot of people have told me that it started with Kenny crawling through the pinto, which is the middle of the show! ESPN can't do anything right. So annoying.

It doesn't help the Bills either when people buy their tickets off of e-bay...you're buying a ticket that has already been sold, so you're not putting a dent in that 6,500. It doesn't matter if those season ticket holders trying to sell their tickets don't show up, if their seat is sold, it still counts toward the sell out. What we need is people buying those upper deck seats.

I'm glad you watched it. Let me know what you guys think of the show. I was the one who directed/produced it. And it's definitely supposed to be on again tomororw at 1:30 pm.

Just curious, which shows or films are you talking about specifically?

They can't show these games in their entirety because they don't own the rights. NFL Films didn't get the rights to the broadcast versions of games until the late 80's. The networks own all of that footage.
