No way around it. He is the main, singular reason no one wants to work here. He promised change. So he hires from within a guy who has never been a GM. Why? Because he 'knows him'. Well the rest of the NFL world doesn't give a **** about Ralphies comfort level with his GM. Hold outside interviews with guys who are available and some that are up and comers and yes that can include Nix. But nope, Ralph can't do that. Next, Any HC worth a damn is going to want personnel say. Do you not think assistants and former HC's not take note of the absolute failures we have had in Free agency and the Draft? They have to be looking at the moves made, not made and said WTF???? But hey, you want a guy to come in here and be strapped with that mess? Not happening. But there is no way in hell Ralph Wilson is going to give that much power over, it just isn't going to happen. 'But ICE...Tom Donahoe....' !@#$ed up. Bottom line he !@#$ed up. But at the same time rumor around the league was Tom got calls several times a day from Ralph wondering what was going on. We all know Ralph can't keep his damn hands out of things and just let someone else run the show. So here is what is going to happen, We are going to hire the one guy who is so hard up for a HC job he doesn't care if he fails, he just wants to be in the roll because we have seen most anyone worth a damn wont touch this job. We will have crap 'up and coming' coordinators and still have the same morons doing our scouting, free agency, drafting for us that we have for damn near a decade now. So I will say it, until Ralph dies (*)is team isn't going to be any better than it is now. (*) I say dies since he has said he will keep it till he dies and absolutely will not sell no matter what. Oh and this 'But then they will move' BS is pure BS. We get a new owner who is willing to clean house, give up the power that needs to be given up to a quality HC and GM, gets some real studs in here and this team will sell out every single week even with an increase in ticket sales. That = the team goes NO WHERE. The best thing would be hoping for a new owner sooner than later.

Oh they will care. This runs more than a year and the money the NFLPA has put back starts running out and the owners are still billionares, you can bet your ass they will care.

Oh and quit throwing out money, who gives a !@#$. As a Coordinator they make enough money as is. Sometimes, as in this case, more money just isn't worth the Bull **** you would have to endure.

Yeah its simple, he isn't qualified and NO other franchise has thought he was either or he would be hired by now. Hell no other franchise has even made him a coordinator. Only the most stupid football can misses the huge red flag right there. He is so damn good, so well thought of NO ONE has even made the guy a coordinator in his entire NFL coaching career. And yeah you work you way up the ranks not sit there in a lower position and expect to become a HC, unless you interview with the cheap assed buffalo bills.

Ok so you presume because he was a bad ass player that he can build a Bad ass team? Can you provide any proof to that or is it wishful thinking? Frazier on the other hand just runs defenses that perform well. He understands the value of the front 7 esp the big asses that need to be in the middle. He has seen first hand how important a good OL is and now has seen that a great QB is what makes things happen, not a great RB. But hey, lets not hire the guy who has had success as a coordinator, lets hire the guy who can't even get a coordinators job because he MIGHT be able to build a tough team.

If he was successful, yes.

The sooner he passes away (since he won't sell) the sooner this team has any chance of turning around.

His legacy? Ok so far it is fielding a losing team 4 out of 5 decades, firing the greatest GM of our time, screwing over a well respected guy in John Butler, and know across the league as being a meddling owner that won't field a competitive team. Great Legacy

This team needs the next Jim Kelly. That has been the problem with this team. All the great teams have QB's. There is no getting around it. 'But the Jets...' Have a damn good OC and an up and coming stud at QB. Guess what? The Panthers have a better defense than us, one of the better OL's and had TWO 1100 yard rushers this year. They are sitting at home with just two more wins than us. it is about the QUARTERBACKS in the NFL. This is a pass first league. Although we had Thomas in the backfield, Jim Kelly and Ted M always said 'We PASS to set up the RUN'. So does Indy, NE, NO, Arizona, Dallas and now you can add the Vikings to that list. Defense? Seriously? We need three starting D Linemen and at least two LB's for this defense to even sniff being respectible. Pass defense? Hell yeah, because teams ran all over us this year. 'But they were on the field so long...' Um because they sucked? Grimm is not qualified to be a HC yet in this league. Spend a couple years coaching up an entire offense, putting together game plans, doing day to day management of more than say 8 guys and then lets talk about him as a HC.

Exactly. Right now Frazier is the ONLY legit candidate out there. It would be seen as a decent (not good) Hiring by our front office. Problem is we will ruin him like we have others by giving him **** to work with considering this is the same front office of assclowns running the draft etc.

OK good....toughness. And he knows how to prepare an entire team how? The guy hasn't even been entrusted to run one entire side of the ball since becoming a coach. Sorry folks but he has been a coach this long and hasn't even been hired to coordinate.
