  1. Again, he needs to spend more time coaching in the NFL, not college, to be ready to be a HC in the NFL. But I guess it doesn't matter since he has turned us down now does it?
  2. Ok fine, but he has no business being an NFL HC. He is NOT qualified. And how the hell did he get on the Bills list anyway?
  3. You won't have that, and that has been the hang up with any potential HC. Cowher, Shanahan etal wanted power over the roster, Ralph wont' give it
  4. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/327018-...-the-real-issue
  5. So we offered the job to a College HC who has a losing record and his only real NFL Exp outside of being an average QB is a couple years as a QB coach? Holy **** Ralph, Russ and Nix have no damn clue
  6. Agreed. The guy does NOT WANT THE JOB. That is all there is too it.
  7. Nix on coaching candidates: "You've got to have a leader and a good teacher and a guy everybody can work with. I think it's vital that the general manager and head coach have to communicate. They have to talk. Most of the breakdowns come when you don't talk to each other, when you don't discuss it." "I'll tell you another thing that's important, obviously, more so maybe sometimes than the head coach is the assistants — the coordinators. You need a guy who can put a good staff together." Nix said prior head coaching experience is preferable but not essential. "I believe that a guy who has been a head coach probably has an advantage," he said. "I've been one and there's not a way to prepare for it. It's different. I don't care how good an assistant you are, when you get to be the head man and got it all, then you might be successful at it and you might not. You're rolling the dice." Again preferable but NOT essential. As for as the first part in Bold, that sure sounds a lot like Frazier.
  8. No he is growing on us because he is a damn good candidate.
  9. Why would they trade up? Word has leaked out we might want him. We need a QB, Jim Kelly has even mentioned him. The Jags owner has said he wants Tebow no matter what. Bottom line they need to fill seats and that is all this signing would do. Drafting Tebow could keep that team in business for the next 5 years he is that valuable to them. So YES I can see them possibly calling to trade up.
  10. If Tebow is on the board look for the Jags at 11 to come calling. Depending on who else is on that board, I take the trade down esp. if we can get their 2nd rounder. I wonder who that will leave there at 11 for us to take if we made that trade? Bradford? If Nix is high on say Lefevour and we can get him in the 2nd, then that sets us up nicely to get say McCoy DT from OU to start rebuilding the Defense. Thoughts?
  11. 6'3 238, winning QB with good college stats. How is his arm strength?
  12. Ok why didn't anyone but us give Fewell a HC interview? No one else thinks he is HC material right now. We made the right call.
  13. Well why didn't anyone else interview him for a HC job? No one else thinks he is qualified either.
  14. Nah I want to see them win the superbowl. If The Vikings do AND we hire Frazier then the National media is all about us making the right decision blah blah blah.
  15. No he wasn't. He called at least 2-3 times each DAY to ask Donahoe what was going on. That started from the begining before TD had any problems with this team.
  16. I love this quote... 'everywhere he goes, we see a pattern: young players bloom quickly, defenses get nasty, safety play is top-notch. '
  17. EXACTLY! Guys I really like Frazier and wouldnt' be upset at all if we stopped the search right now and offered him the job.
  18. LOL. Its not old, he has been like this for years. He fired Polian and that started the snowball. When he did butler like he did that really put a bad taste in the NFL's mouth so to speak. Then Donahoe etal. You can't keep doing this to guys the NFL feels are really good people and think your rep is going to be stellar. All of Ralphs moves to this point are why we are in the current pickle we are in.
  19. Guys I got no problem with him being HC. He has been an up and comer that has been VERY Well thought of in NFL Circles for awhile. Some fans are afraid of him running the Tampa 2. What I see from Frazier is a COVER 2 secondary but that is it. He likes BIG linemen and he likes to bring the heat with LB's. That isn't a conventional Tampa 2. There was some rumor he would try to get Saunders to come in as his OC. That would be awsome! That guy can put together some damn good offenses that take plenty of shots down field. I think we would be in damn good shape with this combo. My only question is, OL, DL and QB coaches. But I am sure that will pan out. Draft: We need a QB, no way around it. If we get a strength and conditioning coach worth a damn, and Wood comes back we can get by this year on the OL. Bell played ok at LT, Wood, Hangman and Levetre did well in the middle. RT is still a ? But Overall workable. Now if Okung is there at 9 by some Miracle...well you just can't pass on him. If we don't have a QB on the board worth #9 (and I still think Bradford is a steal there) then I hope we can land McCoy the DT from OU (again if Okung isn't there). Suh is out of the question, he is gone in the top 5 picks unless we move up. McCoy, NOT Suh, was rated #1 coming into the season. McCoy would have been a high first last year if he had come out. Bottom line we can't go wrong here. I know some want LB. I say no way. QB's run this league. If you don't have a good one, you are screwed. Time to get a good QB in here. Next are the lines. For those wanting a LB, you gotta have a line in front of him. If by some miracle we sign some stud DT in Free agency and upgrade DE Then maybe the LB from Bama might fit, but not at the cost of losing a potential franchise QB. It will get interesting that is for sure. I just hope Nix has final say on all draft decisions. If so I feel we will have one of the better drafts in a long time.
  20. Remember when Tom Donahoe left? He told the media he fielded at least 2-3 calls EACH DAY from Wilson wanting to know what was going on. That just can't happen. Remember how it leaked out Wilson forced Wade to play RJ instead of Flutie? Remember how he tried to sue Wade to keep him from getting his last years pay after Ralph fired him? Remember how Mularkey flat quit the job? Remember how Ralph did Butler his last year here? Guys...ralph is the problem
  21. And you would be in the situation Ralph is in. You just can't do that.
  22. I think Ralph figures he will be dead by the time the lease expires. That said with the current economic times, that lease negotiation may be an ugly picture.
  23. First off lets back up. 'Right' would have not been hiring Nix, cleaning out the entire front office and doing an outside GM search. Next, Doing it 'right'? Right would be getting a HC worth a **** in here, right now no one worth a damn wants the job. Hell even assistants are saying no thanks to even interviewing. Fans need to understand, since Ralph didn't clean house and did business as usual with an internal promotion, there will not be anything at all 'Right' with this team till he dies.
