  1. If we pass on him there then the front office has issues. The guy can be a hell of an NFL QB. Everyone here was screaming how we wished we could get him till he hurt his shoulder. It's fixed now, time to move on. Take him if he is there
  2. A good QB makes the line better. We have seen QB's crap out behind good lines. Either the guy has it or he doesn't and no OL in the world is going to make him better. Edwards behind the best OL in the NFL would still suck. Captain checkdown, scared to throw into coverage and with anticipation and is weak armed. We need the QB, put the rest around him. Dallas did it with Aikman, we can do it here too.
  3. Exactly. Screw this assclown and what he has to say. You honestly think if we had went out and got Cowher or some 'name' his ass would be trumpeting the hire? He is a NE Pat **** and always will be.
  4. That is your call as it is all fans, but I for one am going to back the guy till he PROVES he can't do the damn job.
  5. Other than the obvious which is finding a QB, the crypt keeper needs to STFU
  6. How about we post in the land of reality? We didn't have a HC yet, Nolan signed within about a day of being cut with another team. Not much we can do about that.
  7. He was the most qualified guy for the job. Cowher didn't want it nor did shanahan so Gailey it is.
  8. 'we want someone with a full body of work. Jr High, Highschool, College'. That would be Bradford, Tebow, Clausen and McCoy at minimum. And FTR, Chan Gailey has done more with less talent than those guys have.
  9. Agreed. I think we are going to see a FB brought back into the offense if his previous stints were any indication. The only thing I see going south is the QB situation. It is time to clear this roster and start over hopefully with someone from the first round of the draft.
  10. Yeah there is just something about the guy I really like. This guy WANTS this job and has had success in the NFL. He knows what it takes to win. Jones himself said it was a mistake to have fired him. I am giving the guy a fair shot.
  11. Please don't blind the lame minded with facts. Mass hysteria is much more fun....
  12. He will call his own plays and it will be YEARS before he would be handing it off to someone else. He says he has a plan and the best way to get it done right is do it himself. AWESOME!!!
  13. So did Cowher, Shanahan, holmgren, Parcells, Jimmy Johnson, Billacheat, and on and on and on.
  14. I want to hate you. I want to throw you under the bus and call this a cheap ass hire, etc. I just can't. There is just something about this guy I really like. I love the fact he can develop QB's so lets hope Nix goes out and gets one. I love the fact he will call the offense. There is no more camp Marv/ Jauron. It's time to bring some damn toughness to this team and I have a feeling if you don't bring your A game you will be shown the door with this guy. As for as Buddy Nix is concerned, I loved how he backhanded the press and said it was funny watching all the BS reports out there. I love how he basically said he doesn't give a **** what the media has to say. God Damn it...as much as I don't want to, I am pumped to see what Gailey can do. here is to hoping the Draft is a great one that produces that QB we have greatly been missing. I for one am going to give the Nix/ Gailey regime a clean slate and fair shot.
  15. Cowher lost 4 AFC Championship games in his own house that he should have won. No one this offseason has offered him a job other than us. Cowher was about to be ran out of Pittsburgh before he retired. Can we drop the Bill Cowher BS already?
  16. I can't give my honest opinion on that without getting in big trouble.
  17. I am all about the Jets and Vikings winning
  18. Gailey fits exactly what Ralph and Nix were targeting. Cowher was never coming here, neither was Holmgen, Shanahan or any other 'Name' Head coach. It is what it is till Ralph no longer owns this team. Try to understand this, Ralph Wilson has done business like this from day one. It is his way and if you thought at 91 years old he was going to change you were wrong. Ralph LUCKED into Bill Polian being here and LUCKED into Marv being able to somewhat steer the talent that was here thanks to Polian. That is all there is too it. Outside of the 'Polian Era' this team has been a losing franchise. Losing Records in the 60's, 70's, 80's, and 00's. This whole process has finally opened some eyes in fan land. This job is NOT well thought of. Top people and top assistants don't want to touch it. They do not want to work for Ralph Wilson and this front office. And I agree 100% it isn't 'Buffalo' that is the problem. Yeah the town this or the town that, look it has great qualities and has one of the most rabid fan bases in the NFL. This loyal fan base sells out regardless of the crap the owner fields. EVERY potential HC LOVES that!!! The problem is, was and always will be Ralph Wilson. Until a new owner is found, the fate of the franchise is solidified (move or stay...) and the entire front office gutted from Brandon down to the ticket takers and replaced with guys that the NFL puts their stamp on, NOTHING WILL CHANGE. Yeah they very well may move with a new owner, but to me that is a roll of the dice you gotta take or keep putting up with this crappy product decade in and decade out. It is what it is.
  19. Yeah seriously. Doesn't OBD know those guys grow on trees? I mean come on!!!
  20. As long as Guy gets the boot that helps quite a bit
