What part of most of the teams listed didnt' have a first round pick for a LT did you miss?

After reading the article I say lock their asses out and play scrubs. NFL salaries have gotten out of hand esp rookies who have yet to prove anything.

The problem is Ralph has made his own bed in regards to how he is thought of in the NFL (see this coaching issue...) So when he actually tried to warn them and was right, they flat ignored him. This going to end in a strike of the normal players, and scrubs being played for the 2011 and most likely the 2012 seasons while the players start going broke and the owners keep making money. the Players never win in this situation.

Exactly. and BTW the 4 QB's that played in the championships weren't very mobile. Seems standing in the pocket, reading a defense and delivering the damn football is still the most important thing top QB's do. I would rather not have some gimick that is nothing but an overhyped RB put in a QB's number.

Bull ****. 4-3 or 3-4 you need LINEMEN. We need a QB above all things first on this team. Then DL and a LT. THEN linebackers. BTW if you are trying to sit there and claim we need a stud at OLB in the 3-4, you better start with the NOSE TACKLE, because without a pure stud there, the whole defense goes to ****.

Exactly and if this team takes a friggin linebacker before addressing the DL, it is a horrible move that counters all football common sense.

I have to think he has already 'under the table' accepted the job and is ok with the assistant picks.

I wouldn't count on signing anyone this offseason to be honest. Too many UFA's now won't be, many more RFA's just got extended. Then add in two tags available in a non capped year. Unless Nix and complany can spot a diamond in the rough, I say just prepare for the draft.

My point being, Nix has found a stud in SD in the 2nd round, Polian in the 6th etc. We now have a top 5 talent evaluator, this isn't friggin TD or Levy making the picks. If anyone can find us a quality LT in later rounds it is Nix. On that note, if he decides to pass up QB in the first then, although I don't like it, I will accept his opinion that there wasn't one worth picking. Why? Because he has proven himself as a top evaluator.

You NEVER take a LB when you need a QB, then DL, then OL. you address linebackers AFTER you put a line worth a damn in front of them. Where did we rank in Run defense? You think McClain is going to do jack **** with a 300lb guard pushing his ass 20 yards downfield because our weak ass DL couldn't keep the fat ass off of him? come on folks....

Indy 6th round pick NO 4th Round pick Jets 1st round Vikings 1st Round Eagles Undrafted FA TE Cowboys 2nd Round Bengals 2nd Round New England 2nd Round Baltimore 5th round supplemental draft Green Bay 2nd round Arizona 6th Round. Chargers 2nd round (*) (*) Was drafted in 06 meaning he was a Nix pick. If Nix can do it right, we can find a quality LT later on in the draft. IMHO beyond Okung there isn't a guy worth a first round pick. Time to pick a QB.

Its been unimpressive so far. No one has really jumped out as being hands down better than anyone else

Now get him a top talent to work with and we are in business.
