  1. Buddy never would have picked him. I don't see him being long for this roster. If he can't flat out beat someone for an OLB job they will cut his ass being a non capped year
  2. And one more thing, doesnt' ralph need to sell some tickets? No way in hell can he sell **** with Edwards at QB. Ralph remembers the boos when Edwards went in then the cheers when he got hurt. Edwards never should have been a starter in the NFL. as for this bull **** about he did well before the concussion, no the TEAM did pretty well going 4-0 then went to **** after that. Edwards is what he is and that is a checkdown, scared kitty that Dick Jauron loved. That right there is enough to punt kick him off this roster. If anyone, it will be Brohm.
  3. Edwards is beyond done he also isn't the QB that Nix and company said they want. He isn't a leader and he sure as hell doesn't have the Arm they said they wanted in a QB. Edwards has been benched by TWO coaching staffs already and if they thought he was the answer he would have been named the starter already. He lost his job last year and sucked most of the year before. Gailey and company aren't going to waste their time trying to polish a turd. It will be Brohm if anyone starting against Miami out of the 3 that were here before the draft.
  4. I hear he is better than breese. Now Brees on the other hand....he has some work to do. Just screwin with ya buddy
  5. you do realize thugshawn is #3 now right? CJ is 10x the back either one are and Thug lost his job perminately to jackson so...
  6. He isn't going to. Edwards has already been benched by TWO head coaches. Gailey isn't stupid, Edwards is not going to start.
  7. So its fitz then because its not Edwards.
  8. Edwards is a kitty and isn't what Nix and Gailey said they wanted in a QB. He will end up being the one cut. They know what they have in Fitz, solid #2/#3. They drafted Brown to develop him, watch the post draft presser. You can tell by how they talk about him they expect good things. That leaves Brohm. I still have a really tough time putting any faith in someone that can't even make a roster and who wasn't brought onto a team from Green Bay's practice squad except Russ Friggin Brandon. That said...as much as I don't like Brohm, I am more than willing to see what happens in the competition between him and Brown and will back whomever of the two Gailey picks. but someone please give me something besides friggin college stats to make me feel better about Brohm.
  9. At least he isn't the kitty Edwards is. Edwards has Zero shot at the job if they really want to open the competition up
  10. As usual Sully is WRONG. Always has been, always will be. How the POS has a job is beyond me. Maybe the pessimists on this board keep him in a job?
  11. Great to see some realistic optimism from many posters! Lets all stay in that boat and even when it gets tough this year, back each other and keep the faith going!
  12. Exactly mike, a 1 point game at their place is hardly an asskicking.
  13. We will not get to where we want to be (perinial playoff contenders and a threat for the Superbowl) until the QB position is fixed once and for all. Now that doesn't mean we can't be a .500 team though.
  14. First off I don't do drugs, and it is way too early for me to be drinking so YES I am serious and here is why. 1. Coaching is better. ANYONE is an improvement over Jauron, VanPelt etal. 2. The talent has improved. No way in hell do we suck this year as badly as we did against the run. The 3-4 should bring more pressure allowing our good DB corp to make more turnovers. This OL produced the 16th rated running game in the NFL last year as well as a 1000 yard rusher. Spiller has 10x the talent our other RB's do, plus I don't see us having as many OL injuries this year. We will be improved. 3. We lost 6 games by a total of like 20 points. I feel this team is going to do better than most people think!
  15. BTW just remember, Pat Williams and Jason Peters TWO probowlers signed as UDFA's by us became probowlers. I have a feeling our new Auburn OLB will be another one.
  16. http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-3...7b-0913a7b02701 He will be 'Their guy'...Nix and Gailey that is. Good call and good plan.
  17. Actually I do. just got off the phone with him about half an hour ago talking about the draft.
  18. NFL hands down. ESPN Shouldn't be allowed to cover the draft any longer
  19. Where can we see what UDFA's we have signed?
  20. Best overall player in the draft is on our roster now. Two OLMen and both will compete, one (wang) should end up being a damn good LT. Levi Brown is better talent wise that what we currently have. Now how fast he picks up the pro game and Gailey's offense is yet to be seen. The front office geared us up to be a 3-4 defense. One of the best, if not the best, NT at holding his ground and taking up space is now on our roster. The best pure 3-4 DE in the draft is ours as well. We drafted guys that performed for 3+ years, didn't have signifigant injuries, are known for leaving it on the field and preparing well, and are good people off the field. THAT is how you start to rebuild a team. Now lets kick ass with some UDFA's and get cooking!
