I also feel they want Brown to grow and challenge for the position later on or take over if Brohm can't do it. that is a Win win situation in my book.

Well the OL we had before the draft was 16th in rushing and helped an undrafted guy gain over 1000 yards so I think Spiller who has 10x the talent of jackson or Lynch will be just fine.

Agreed and Nix even eluded to this. The plan is to see if Brohm can handle it this year and bring Brown along. I know many here say he is nothing more than a career backup, but from listening to Gailey and Nix, it seems he is in their long term plans.

I feel this is an 8-8 team, but all I want to see is improvement. As a good friend of mine said, if at the end of the 2010 season we aren't asking all the same questions as at the end of 09 then we are in good shape. I don't care if we are 7-9 or 5-11. I just want this team to be lookin and doing better at week 17 than week 1. We do that and we are on the right track to get this thing turned around.

I feel if 200+ more players had been available via there being a CBA, we would have been a little more active in FA.
