Bull ****. Read the post again, The competition has already started and will in essence be over by the 2nd preseason game. If you have followed football for more than 30 minutes you know this is fact. They don't allow this **** to carry on beyond that because it doesn't allow the starter enough reps going into the season. This 'competition' has been going on since OTA's started according to Nix and Gailey. That said, the only 'annointed one' the only one 'Given' a job out of the QB's so far has been EDWARDS. Had they allowed a real competition, he wouldn't have started one game last year. So I am not afraid of Brohm or Fitz going up against the kitty edwards. Hell I am all for it so you Edwards lovers will finally STFU when your boycrush gets his ass kicked and he loses his job....again.

No it isn't. They said the competition started with the OTA's well before the draft, that is FACT. They said they would know before the draft how they wanted to go. Well 1. they talk about Brohm all the time, 2. Mort reported the staff is more than open to Brohm winning the job and 3. We took Brown as a guy to develop instead of a guy who would aledgedly compete immediately. If you dont' think they already know who they want to win this 'competition' you dont' know football.

Edwards is NOT the favored QB, you have still yet to give any realistic reasoning other than your man crush he is the guy. Fitz did as well as Edwards (both sucked) Fitz, has been in 3 different systems and have picked them up quickly which gives him the edge on picking up Gailey's system faster than the other 3. Fitz has the most starts of any QB which is a clear cut edge. Fitz isn't affraid to throw the ball whereas Edwards is. Fitz is willing to take hits and keep performing, whereas Edwards is scared. If anyone has a clear cut edge of the 4 its Fitz, not Edwards.

There is no such thing as 'competition'. They have an idea who they want to be the QB by the start of camp and that guy will get the meat of the snaps. The next guy will get a little more snaps before the 2nd preseason game and start that game. After that, the guy they want will have the meat of the snaps from there on out. If you go back EVERY QB 'competition' goes down that way. Why? Because you can't go into a season taking reps away from the guy you want to be your starter. It is a recipe for disaster,and the way Nix on that radio show blasted the last regime for its screwup's last pre season, I see this 'competition' over after the 2nd preseason game. It doesnt' matter if its Brohom, Brown, Edwards or Fitz, they will know the guy they want to win this thing before they set foot in training camp.

All QB's face this and don't fold like the kitty edwards. I watched Kelly get hit, flip over backwards and get up and give the 'up yours' to the New Orleans croud. I want a stud QB, not a sissy afraid of being hit.

Yes I will be as I know this guy doesn't have what it takes, he sure as hell doesn't have the decision making abilities to run a wide open offense, he doesn't have the arm to get the ball down field 20 yards on a rope, his deep ball flutters and lastly...he isn't a leader or winner. I thought Bills fans wanted a stronger armed, leader that can win as it's QB? Those backing Edwards keep wanting the Bills to fail, but that is their right I guess.

How productive was edwards before he got hit? No 300 yard games, affraid to throw with anticipation, fluttering deep ball, bouncing 15 yard outs off the turf. The only thing he could do is the same thing he did in College and that was checkdown. One has to think as much as they are talking about Brohm he is the guy going to get most of the snaps. It is his job to lose and lose it he could if he doens't perform. What I think you will see is Brohm get most of the inital snaps and if he doens't perform, he gets benched for Edwards which is a plus for those that want a high draft pick next year. Not a plus for the veterans that want to win.

Pass blocking gets better when Edwards..err a QB makes better decisions. 3 step drop you throw the ball, not hold it so you get sacked.

He has lost it twice already how many more times does he have to lose it? Brohm is the guy the administration keeps mentioning. They also mention a strong arm and good decision making skills, neither of which Edwards has. I have to really ask, are you related. I am serious here because anyone with just a general interest of the Bills knows this kid doesn't have it. Did you not hear the boos when he hit the field last and the cheers when he got hurt and left the field? The majority of money paying fans dont' want to see him again and this front office does need to sell tickets. Brohm will be the starter, it is his job to lose and I just dont' see that happening.

Funny I didn't hear Edwards name at all. I did hear Brohms and I did hear Gailey gushing over Brohm on Sirius. Funny how fans try to hear what they want to hear even though it wasn't there.

I can't say if he will or won't, but It will be interesting to see how he does with a full offseason under his belt

Well we aren't running a WCO, He doesn't have an anointed one in front of him, so lets see what he can do with a full offseason with Gailey.

This draft showed me he is finally hands off. I thought so with the Gailey hiring, but now that we drafted 'non fan favorites' or 'ticket sellers' I feel he is seeing the light.

Fitz has had chances on other teams and here. Trent was given the job and had it yanked from him twice. Nix has seen all he needs to of both these clowns. It is time to give Brohm this season while developing Brown and lets see what he can do. You are 100% correct, it is past time with Fitz and Edwards, we all know how bad they are.
