  3. Exactly. I have always felt that way. Yeah I know Kelly and thurman etal love Marv, who cares? The guy flat got outcoached when he had the best team in the NFL.

  5. They did improve the team. Got a couple guys to help us in Free agency, Drastically upgraded the Front office, Drafted well for our systems, And most of all got some serious strength and conditioning guys in here. Trades? I seriously doubt it. Nix likes his draft picks.
  6. He does it to take away the stress from the press on his team mates. They follow him and his BS and they leave the team alone. I remember a couple years back they talked with a couple people in his heighbor hood. They said he is always in by say 9-10pm and NEVER causes any issues.
  7. It does say it. It says most guys here (the Bills) haven't squatted since college. It is right there, they haven't been squatting in the BILLS lifting program. They are now and you will see a huge difference in their play esp the Lines

And BTW most Doctors or Surgeons are either skinny geeks that have never lifted a weight in their life, or are so fat they have trouble catching their breath 1/2 up a single flight of stairs. MY surgeon is an athlete, and is surgeon for several HS, College teams and did his work at Johns Hopkins. He agrees completely with the science you refrence, plus he has done it himself!

  11. Ignorance is bliss huh? You don't blow ACL's from going below parallel its how you keep from it. BTW the Surgeon that put back together my knee AGREES with me its how you keep them strong and healthy.
  12. Not really. When thinking about what you are trying to acomplish with the squat is the key thing. If it is just leg and overall body strength then anything over 2x BW is good. If you are trying for powerlifting etc then 2.5-3x is what you are looking for or more. I would expect most DB's around 185-205 to be doing about 405 for 3 strong reps. Keep in mind this is with just a belt and maybe knee straps, not some suited up power lifter with gear on.

  14. Bottom line, cut the bull **** and SQUAT. All these alternitives, excuses are pure crap. There is NO substitute for putting the weight on your shoulders (front or back) and squatting. They are NOT bad for the knees or back unless you are doing them wrong period.
  15. Bull ****. NOT going past parallel is what would hurt the knees. Olympic lifters, ass to grass with the weight, you dont' see them blowing out ACL's or getting knee replacements Man some of you are so far off on squatting it isn't funny.
  16. Ignorant my ass. Squats are NOT bad for the knees, doing any leg work wrong is bad for the knees. Ignorance is saying Squats are bad when in fact they aren't.
