  1. I wanted Oher at our pick and Hated the Maybin pick so no hindsight for me.
  2. Outstanding movie. I am gonna follow this kids career as long as he has one. I recommend everyone go see it. PS, it further pisses me off that we didn't draft Oher
  3. I for one really hope Ralph and Russ listen to Jim Kelly. From his article he is dead on esp. the fact we MUST find a stud at QB. One thing hasn't changed in all these seasons of football, those with good quarterbacks succeed more than most. As for the coaching front, I still feel the Buffalo Bills ( and Buffalo in General ) is NOT an attractive option for the 'top' Head coaches out there....at this time. It's like Jason Locinfora (sp) from NFLN said about Shanahan...'follow the owner, follow the QUARTERBACK' to know where he is going. Most of these guys want to walk into a better situation than what we have. Now, is that the end of the world? Far from it! I still say call Ron Wolf. That cat built a constant contender / a superbowl winner in Green bay, an even smaller market than Buffalo. He has the experience to balance keeping the fans interested while at the same time building a team properly. Another option may be Charlie Casserly. I personally go with finding an established General Manager that can build this team up quickly, who can make much better selections in the draft and Free agency, and go with a Head coach that is '2nd tier' that would want to come in here and do more with the talent we will be bringing in. Oh and I also agree with Ralph, lets go with an OFFENSIVE minded HC for once. All these defensive minded clowns have = crap in the last 10 years. It is darkest before the dawn, lets hope Ralph Wilson brings the sunshine finally.
  4. Whitner needs to be one of the guys shipped off of this team come the offseason. He is highly over rated and wasn't worth the #8 pick when drafted. Another screw up by Marv.
  5. Brady played in the weather at Mich. Elway is the lone exception. As for as that 'championship QB' who gives a rats ass about the old assed AFL? This is the NFL and the only guy to get us to the championship game was NOT from friggin California. I am with Kelly, no more surfer boys.
  6. sounds like he knows the writing is on the wall for some of his team mates. What his stupid ass doesn't understand is HE is one of the ones that should be on a Bus outta town.
  7. Amen. Hell I remember somewhere trent saying after he was drafted he only wanted to play in the NFL just a few years anyway. Ok, so you had a couple years, go retire and go play golf now.
  8. Bull ****! I love everything Kelly said and will say its about damn time someone just spoke out about the whole deal. Quit shipping wanna be after wanna be out in front of us trying to make them NFL starting QB's when they should be holding clipboards on 31 other teams. Edwards flat sucks and we need to quit wasting time on him and Kelly was damn right for saying so! And what does it say about the org? It says we are finally tired of being the pissons of the NFL and its time we get our **** together and become winners again! It says enough is enough, sucking won't be tolerated any longer.
  9. 'The source said Martz is also high on Buffalo's other quarterback, Trent Edwards.' Not NO, Oh hell no!!!
  10. 'Follow the owner, follow the QUARTERBACK, and you will find out where Shanahan will go'. Again, lets start looking for a damn good GM and let him bring in a staff and HC. I just don't see the Bills being attractive to any of the top 'name' coaches. Now I am not saying that is a bad thing, I am just thinking it is what it is.
  11. Yeah I agree. If Russ left the meeting without him signing or even coming to Buffalo for further negotiations, we aren't getting him
  12. "I was really impressed with Russ Brandon and everything he had to say. We're going to stay in touch and see what develops." That means no. He isn't going to turn down 10mill per year in hand right now if he wasn't looking at other jobs. So we can strike him off the list. Unless others don't want him, we aren't getting him.
  13. Look 'Buffalo' is going to be ripped by the media no matter what it does. This team is a small market team that has been a joke in the 60's, 70's, 80's and 2000's. For all but a few seasons, this entire franchise has been worthless and one of the biggest jokes in the NFL. Regardless of what some people say, Ralph has been cheap and it has gotten out that he is an extreme meddler (see AJ. Smith, Butler, Donahoe). and here is the bottom line folks, Buffalo its self isn't a great place to live. The Bills, the 'Candian Ballet' and Shoveling snow is about all there is. So hire Shanahan, don't hire him, win a superbowl, dont win one, this team and city will NEVER be a media darling.
  14. Before he was fired Shanahan was the highest paid coach at 7 mill per. Ralph would be greatly surpassing the level of pay any HC has ever seen if he offers 10 mill, but we still have coaches thumbing their noses at us. Well if Shanahan says no, I say call Ron Wolf who built a superbowl winner in small market green bay and let him have the reigns. Let him bring in his own coach, assistants and scouting department. Bottom line we just may not get a high name coach, so get a great GM and hope he staffs us the right way and makes the right picks
  15. The stuff in bold is exactly what I am referring too. Money? Buffalo might offer the most, but there is no way this is an attractive job right now, esp with NE being in the division
  16. Prove he said anything incorrect. The guy is dead on. I feel we are screwed till Ralph dies and a new owner is in place that secures the future and location of this team.
  17. Let's say Shanahan, Cowher etal say no to Ralph for 10 mill per season? That right there signals the worst franchise in the NFL hands down. I don't' think anyone wants the job for several reasons. First off Ralph is known as a very meddling owner. Him suing Wade Phillips way back when didn't sit well with NFL personnel at the time either. Also the future of this team is in doubt. What coach wants to come to Buffalo and have Ralph possibly kick the bucket next year after moving his family up here? MANY things to consider when thinking of why big time Coaches may not come here.
  18. Exactly. I am sick of reading how he 'just' rejected the Bills. Now Holmgren on the other hand....
  19. But wait! Ralph Wilson is such a great guy and AJ Smith, Butler and Donahoe were all lying about what a meddling owner Ralph is.... Seriously, you are tossing out 10 mill per to have a guy coach your team and no one wants it? Hummmm.........
  20. Its to keep the lemmings thinking Ralph will actually hire someone worth a damn.
  21. Favre is hands down playing the best ball of his career right now, so the ball washing is warranted. I wish we had a 'favre' on this team instead of limp wristed wanna be's
