Who would I like to see (even though he was a G) - in his prime ... CONRAD DOBLER

This is my first posting, so please be kind. By reading some past topics, I realize that there are a few people that are alarmed at the prospect of having our rookie (essentially that is what he is) QB being protected by a journeyman tackle on his blindside. Last time I checked, the 2004 Chicago Bears hardly resembled the 1985 Bears and Gandy couldn't start for them, so why is he good enough for us? My only thought is that T.D. (somewhere I read he is the son of satan and drinks baby's blood) is waiting for some reasonably priced veteran to be cut loose so the team can pounce on him ... but time is running short. Anyone with some insight out there?

My ancestry in Western New York can be traced back to first wave of immigration. My relatives came from Prussia in 1843. As far as why I left WNY, I followed my then wife (yes in fact, she was Lucifer) to the Binghamton area in 2000. Good news, my new wife , our son and I will be moving back this August. There is nothing like moving away to realize how good the area is. In Binghamton, our most noteworthy weekend activity is going to the local Wal-Mart Supercenter. In Buffalo, there are festivals most weekends, an underrated theater and music scene, professional sports and Toronto is an hour away. Add in the food available (weck, wings and more) and we can't wait to get back!
