  1. If I had to guess, I would have said M&Ms would be the top seller. Then again, that's going to depend on the location of the machine. M&Ms are probably a bigger seller with the kids, so an office machine could skew away from that. And speaking of M&Ms, I've been seeing caramel ones in my gas station lately. I'm curious to see how that works out, an M&M with a liquid filling. I don't know if they've done that before. They've definitely gone overboard with some of their flavors, but you can't go wrong with the combination of caramel and chocolate.
  2. I like it for no reason other than the uncertainty that comes with any GM change. We have no idea what kind of moves he might like to make and it makes for a more interesting offseason.
  3. Wait, what? How on earth can they justify that? I see in a TSN link that there's some contractual thing where all Rag home games need to be at MSG, but that's just odd. I wonder if they split the gate differently between home and visitor teams in these games.
  4. That and Letterman went away a couple years ago. It's a shame what has become of late night tv. I'll admit to only seeing random clips here and there, but it's completely changed.
  5. I've always wondered if they factored this into BMI calculation. If you lose one limb, you're still the same height, so you've cut down that BMI quite a bit. Now if you were to take off both legs, you're lighter, but you're now also much shorter. Now I don't know the weight of two human legs, but you may very well have increased your BMI. So it seems like if you need to cut back so much to the point that you may need to take two limbs, going with one arm and one leg would be a better option.
  6. The other thread got me thinking about this. Sometimes the wrong people disappear. Who is that celebrity that you wish would just go away? After seeing the trailer for the latest Pirates movie, Johnny Depp is at the top of my list.
  7. Just like Butterfinger being on both lists, Crunch and Krackel are the same exact thing. But anyway, I'm still not convinced that anyone has ever bought a full size version of any of those hershey's minis, other than the regular milk chocolate bar.
  8. I didn't even know they made full size versions until recently. I know it's obvious that they do, but I had never actually seen one. Anyway, I've always been a Nestle's Crunch fan. If you want to take that up a notch, the 100 grand bar is good too.
  9. I understand the producing part since he actually has to do something on those movies. This one has to be the cushiest voice acting gig of all time. I hope Cooper makes more from these movies than he does. It only seems fair.
  10. I went to Guardians yesterday. I enjoyed it, but I think they went a little over the top with the humor. Did Drax have more than one line that wasn't a joke? On a side note, I'd love to know how much they payed Vin Diesel for these two movies.
  11. I liked Christopher Nolan's approach in the Batman movies bringing back people you haven't seen in ages, one in each movie. Rutger Hauer, Eric Roberts, and then Matthew Modine.
  12. Yeah, what I'm seeing is that he didn't think he'd be on the show. I'd love to see him back. I love everything about Hank except the spelling of his last name.
  13. Am I crazy or do I remember the actor who played Hank saying that he has no interest in coming back?
  14. I just watched about 1 minute of it and had to stop due to the heavy editing. It may as well have been this old Simpsons scene.
  15. Did he just throw a frisbie or something? I wonder how he scored on that test.
  16. Yeah, that's kind of odd. I know I can't commit to a second (let alone a third) viewing of something until I've seen it and I know whether or not I like it. My neighbors were trying to set that up already this week, with the adults going opening day and then taking their kids on sunday. These kids all seem old enough that the parents probably don't need to check it out first. But anyway, I decided to go with the sunday option since the opening day one was a bit too late for me.
  17. That's the exact stuff I'm talking about. They show a name and then follow it up with twitter posts and videos before moving onto the next name. I have no idea why no one can do this anymore: -Name 1 -Name 2 -Name 3 ... -Name 100
  18. I have zero problem with his approach. You're absolutely right that they need more of that. As for your third point, I hope you didn't think I was implying that. It's actually the exact opposite. Once he became the guy teams would focus on, the results weren't the same. I know it's a bit of an oversimplification since so much goes into winning a championship, even luck. For Colorado, it was the perfect storm of superstar talent paired up with a strong group of younger guys.
  19. 12 episodes that fast. Does that mean they gave up on it right away?
  20. I've gotten good at heading to the bathroom as the credits start to role so that I can be back in there for the post-credits scene. They're really screwing over that approach by throwing 5 scenes in the credits.
  21. The thing that always bugged me about Chris Drury was all that "he just knows how to win" hype. That BS was never his fault, just the media's. Being a supporting guy on a team full of stars is a great way to win, but more than likely, you're not the one bringing them to the top. It's much easier to score a couple OT winners when the other team is focusing on the five hall of famers on the other side of the ice (plus a damn good d-man in Adam Foote). Then there was the national championship he won as a freshman on a deep team. There's no shame in any of this, but he was never the guy they made him out to be. Once he became the leader of a team, those teams ultimately did not win. And I have no idea how to even translate a little league world series into all of this.
  22. My main problem with the latest movie was Apocalypse himself. Lazy is right. It felt like he was given whatever power was needed to advance the story at any given point.
  23. Wasn't there some kind of scandal with Skinner? That's a sport I never pay attention to but I remember hearing talk somewhere around that time.
  24. I just got to Bakuto and have about 3 episodes left. I have no problem with Danny as a character, but he's just kind of meh as a hero. I'm not really sure what he brings to the table other than a fist that glows once every ten days or so. I'm really hoping the Harold stuff goes somewhere, but from your post, I'm guessing it doesn't. I will say one thing, the show has held my attention better than Luke Cage did.
