  1. Yeah, that was such a long wait to sign Antipin, what with his pesky little existing contract in the way. Even the law is out to screw over the Sabres.
  2. In other words, he makes this announcement with the sole intention of heading to free agency. If your plan is to sign with Buffalo, the first announcement made is that you signed.
  3. It has to be much closer to 7-0 at this point, doesn't it?
  4. The only thing that really sticks out to me is that Mike's storyline may seem completely insignificant if you watch BCS first. I can't picture that fitting in very well with the rest of the show if you're starting here first. He was my favorite character out of all of them, so in a way, I almost wish he had been the focal point of the spinoff instead.
  5. Why not? It worked for Eddie Murphy... oh wait, no it didn't.
  6. You haven't been introduced to 4mer yet, have you? The bold portion answered your own question.
  7. "Arm/hand laying across sleeping son's lap" does sound a bit awkward. But of course they're going to sue over losing 1 hour of their day.
  8. It's impossible to prove. Other than maybe dragging the drug maker's name through the mud a bit, there is absolutely nothing to be gained. If you try to go up against them, you quickly realize exactly how much money they have.
  9. What is Kim's deal anyway? Is she simply overworked or is she having money issues too? I almost got the feeling that she wanted Jimmy to back out of the lease so they wouldn't be in the building anymore.
  10. Probably the worst internet crap that came out of the marathon bombing was the one site (reddit or 4chan, one of those) who decided to go through pictures and find the bombers themselves. I'm sure it probably has been going on with this one too, but I hope we never see that again, labeling a bunch of people terrorists at an astounding success rate of 0% and then posting them all over the internet.
  11. I know it means nothing to anyone else, but I'm looking forward to a Stanley Cup final with Colin Wilson vs. Nick Bonino. They were the two best players on an incredibly fun to watch national championship season in 2009. Even if they're just supporting guys here, it'll be fun to re-live that a bit.
  12. There's probably no right word to use, but "losers" isn't strong enough. It's a bit too juvenile. I wish he would have used something more harsh.
  13. I've always been a sandwich fan, but lately I've been bringing salads. It works pretty well most of the time, just enough to keep me going. Either option, I go about as simple as possible.
  14. This makes me wish Mark Wahlberg would win an Oscar. Unfortunately, I have a better shot at one than he does.
  15. He was in the background in Avengers and it carried over to shield
  16. Did they ever say anything about how far removed from high school he was at that point?
  17. Vedder is starting a european tour next week. He may be gone already. Anyway, I don't think there's anyway the band or Vedder would be in a good enough place right now to do any shows. It has to be hitting very hard. I think those first couple european shows for Vedder may be in jeopardy at this point. You'll get all of Pearl Jam for anything they do decide to do. The bands have always been so closely associated. Pearl Jam never exists without Soundgarden. Hell, they've had Matt Cameron drumming for almost 20 years now. Damn, has it been that long since the original Soundgarden break up?
  18. Is it that Fox one with Terrence Howard, Wayward Pines? That's the most recent show that comes to mind that fits that description (from the commercials anyway, I never watched it).
  19. The lazy reporting makes it sound like they finished with the song itself as opposed to using it as a tag to Slaves and Bulldozers. That definitely changes things. And speaking of that song, I'm going to have to go dig up my copy of Badmotorfinger. I've got Superunknown in the car already, but I want to listen to both today.
  20. Ok, I hate the way this stuff is reported. I scanned their website briefly for set lists but didn't see anything. Pearl Jam actually charts everything they've ever played on their website, so I was hoping Soundgarden might have something similar.
  21. He did so much over the last ten or so years. I wouldn't be surprised if he actually did. So the last song of the show last night was a cover of Zeppelin's "In my time of dying". I can't imagine that was a common show ender for them. He knew exactly what he was going to do.
  22. I liked them for a while, but I don't feel that most of their music aged very well. I can still listen to just about anything from the other bands listed, but not STP.
