  1. Everyone should have a "fell for a crayonz post" counter in place of the total reputation number.
  2. Right, that was the only one she surprised. The rest she pretty much just let kill her. You can call it the heroic sacrifice, but it's a damn tiger. It's not going to just sit there and take one for the team while the others escape. Well that and the loss of his entire army. Shiva was just rubbing salt in the wounds.
  3. Which one were you talking about here? But yes, I love how just about everything played out with Ezekiel yesterday. Carol gets to take over now because he is completely broken. I wonder if he'll drop the king routine with the rest of the people now like he did with Jerry. I wish she had put up more of a fight. At least a few walkers should have been thrown around before she was overpowered. It didn't seem like a very large group that took her down.
  4. It's amazing how one accusation can now completely destroy someone's career. I can in no way see someone taking advantage of that. I'm sure a good number are legit, but at the same time, I can guarantee that we are going to have a couple careers that are ruined over a fake accusation. The whole thing is very uncomfortable from just about every angle you look at it.
  5. By translator, you mean something that automatically deletes them, right?
  6. The fish out of water stuff fit well though because that’s exactly what he was. So much of the humor here and with Guardians 2 felt so forced to me. They’ve done well with a lot of their movies in fitting in humor in much more natural ways. Stark gets away with it because it’s in his character. That or they’ll have a minor character who exists solely for the comic relief (Antman’s criminal friends, the guy running the library in Doctor Strange, etc...). With this one, they took characters who were never funny and had them throwing out one liners left and right. It’s an odd change to make 17 movies into their run.
  7. I saw it yesterday. I think just like Guardians 2, they went way overboard with the comedy. It worked in that one, even if it was a bit overboard (Guardians 1 had the perfect balance). It didn't work in this one. The tone was way too different than any movie other movie that included those three main characters up to this point. It felt so forced to me.
  8. Not far enough. Their computer should explode.
  9. Outside of Tampa, there is no one that has separated themselves from the pack. The rest of the division is floating around .500, the definition of mediocre. Every single one of these teams is completely capable of going into the tank for an extended period of time. The math is never going to be easy, but with 60+ games remaining, there's a hell of a lot of juggling in the standings to come. Things are exactly how the league wants it, every single one of these teams is very much alive. If you want a clear look at how a team makes a move in the standings, take a look at the last 10 games column of the standings for each team in the division. Two teams will jump out at you. Those are the same two teams who have moved the most in the standings recently and it is very obvious why. Things can change quickly over a 10 game span. Everyone else has tread water over that time and you can expect mostly the same. The key for this team and any other is to break away from that spot where they're taking 50% of their points. Only one or two will.
  10. There's a whole lot of mediocre in front of them right now. Playing at that .600 mark the rest of the way would almost take care of it on it's own. I doubt they have that in them, but stranger things have happened.
  11. Does he break out the ruler for every single one he brings home?
  12. That doesn't happen until the second they get the powerplay going. Their lack of scoring, combined with all the shorties pretty much singlehandedly accounts for at least 3 losses so far. I know that probably doesn't sound like much, but swap out 3 losses for wins and look where they would be in the standings.
  13. I have no problem with XM switching over to the Christmas music. They've at a couple hundred stations and could probably get away with playing it year round if they really had to. I don't think many are going to one of those 5-6 random top hits stations that they replace this time of the year. This will be my third Christmas in my neighborhood. Everyone on my street is outside the day after thanksgiving putting up their lights. It's kind of fun yelling back and forth at each other or silently waiting for the one guy to fall off his roof. Some might say that day is too early for lights, but you have to do it when you have the free time.
  14. I want computer generated bots that recreate some of the trolls we've lost over the years. It would be like those hologram Michael Jackson performances.
  15. That entire group on defense is a scary sight, 2 NHLers in the group.
  16. I saw a funny one on the drive to work this morning. There's a mayor race in my town. A guy was standing on the median of the road with a "vote for so-and-so for mayor" sign. The funny part was that he was actually in the next town over. Sure, you'll still get a good number of our residents driving through, but I can't help but think he could have picked a better spot. edit: And I should add that where he was standing, only people drivin away from the appropriate polling place would see him.
  17. His mental state has flipped a few times now over the course of the series. I just can't see how crazy is going to work well in the middle of a war. And it wasn't just during the fight with Jesus. His mind has been shot since the kid got killed.
  18. What exactly does Negan know? Things haven't exactly gone too well for him so far. The body count is probably close to 100:1 in favor of Rick/Maggie/Ezekiel right now. Does his entire knowledge of their plan come down to them moving that huge gun and ambushing the Kingdom troops? Oh, and it's a shame that we are going to be losing Morgan this season. I can't see any possible way that we walks away now that he's losing his mind again.
  19. I didnt notice it until rewatching the highlight today. What Eichel did on that 2-on-0 shorty goal was filthy.
  20. Costco's stuff was all available online and the sales prices were on for a couple weeks. There was zero insanity endured.
  21. And if you can wait a couple weeks, they're going to have bigger deals around black friday time. That's when I got my tv last year.
  22. I bought an LG right around Thanksgiving last year. It was fine most of the time, but then I watched a hockey game. I pretty quickly noticed that the left half of the screen was slightly darker than the right. It was only noticeable with a very light colored background (the white ice in hockey). LG wound up sending someone to fix it, but ultimately, I didn't want to have a tv that someone had worked on within a month of buying it. I wound up returning it (Costco) and lucked my way into a really nice sale on a Samsung. The same amount of money got me a tv and a wireless soundbar. The LG left me a little skeptical about their tvs. I have a wall mounted tv with a single hdmi line running through the wall to where I store my media (directv box and PS4). I really didn't want to go to the effort of running any extra cables through that wall, so I bought a splitter with 4 hdmi inputs. I bet it's the same one you have. It seems to recognize the device like you said, but I tend to have both on at the same time, so I'm using that remote a lot. My only concern is that the remote is so damn small that it's bound to disappear at some point, especially with how recklessly my wife will toss it just about anywhere in the room. Still, it was well worth the cost so that I could avoid fishing that extra line through the wall and avoiding what probably would have been some visible wires behind the wall mount.
