  1. At this point they need to just wash their hands of anyone who hasn't shown back up at this point. It seems pretty clear to me that they want to move forward with the new group and make it the Morgan show. I think I'm good with making it a buddy zombie drama with him and John. Troy is definitely dead though. Madison killed him.
  2. I wonder how many episodes Alicia and Strand will survive through. This new cast is interesting, so much so that I kind of wish they had just killed everyone off in the damn explosion. Now that would have been ballsy. So did Al say that she met up with Madison in Nebraska or was that where she picked up the food she wound up giving to her?
  3. Thats pretty much a once a year story. I wouldn’t call it political though.
  4. The rest of the additions in that season left me scratching my head. Maybe they plan to expand on them in the future, but the stuff with the girl and her step-brother really never went anywhere.
  5. To me, the whole thing would be like walking into an italian restaurant and then they try to sell you a bike. There's nothing wrong with bikes, but you're there for dinner.
  6. Just because someone has the right to express their beliefs, it isn't required that anyone has to listen to it. At the same time, not listening to someone does not mean that you're saying they have no right to say it.
  7. Some political talk from the NHL? The only thing I can think of that comes even remotely close to that is talk over the value of the canadian dollar.
  8. I can’t only think of maybe 4 or 5 movies 8’vr seen with Woody, but I don’t remember ever thinking he felt out of place in any of them. I have to wonder if people would question his casting in a movie if he didn’t have the same first name as his character in Cheers. As as for Solo, I thought he was a great fit for the character he played. It seems like the exact role I would expect for him based on his recent roles.
  9. Wasn’t Oceans 11 already a remake? So we now have a gender swapped remake of a remake.
  10. Please tell me he keeps a dinosaur in a pit and forces it to put on lotion.
  11. I've completely cut out alcohol for about 2 months now and have tried to limit the processed stuff. I should probably step on a scale at some point to see how that's going. The only problem is that a lingering shoulder/neck issue has limited my productivity at the gym. This break from alcohol thing is about to die a horrible death though. I'll be spending a week with the in-laws later this month.
  12. I finally got around to watching Stranger Things over the last two weeks. That was an addictive two seasons. They made some odd choices here and there, but still, very entertaining.
  13. The ads they are running for the Daily Show right now are brutal. His delivery is so annoying that it makes it pretty tough to get through my weekend viewing of Meet the Fockers... or was it Horrible Bosses? I forget which random movie I was watching on which station.
  14. Did anyone want to work with Sheen when he first started on that show? It's been a while so I might be off on this, but I feel like he was already reduced to random tv appearances at that point anyway. So his lunacy at the end just returned him to where he already was.
  15. Yeah but it’s been about 20 years now since they did everything on site. It’s not technically the same place/business that it was originally.
  16. It's been ages since I've seen an episode of the original run of the show. Was the older daughter always such a horrible actress (other than brief time when she was replaced)?
  17. We had a bus driver who would take us there on the last day of the school year. There was nothing more horrible than waiting for the bus on the first day of school only to find out that she had been switched to a different route.
  18. I miss Charlap's.
  19. The place was insanely busy the couple times I was there. I have no idea how they grow from ice cream to that.
  20. I'd have to imagine there are plenty out there who have no social media presence at all. I'm not on twitter, so I have no idea who they would be, but they have to be out there.
  21. I still want to know why celebrities even bother with twitter. One wrong comment destroys everything. Sometimes it's deserved (here), other times it's not. They have to walk a tight rope that's thinner than dental floss on there. It's not worth it.
  22. What I think winds up working for Rogue One was that they were working with completely new characters who needed to be developed from scratch. It makes for better story telling. Sure there were a few people with some history, but they were such minor characters in the overall picture of that movie. I wish they could find a way to make more stand alone stories like Rouge One instead of the prequel origin stories. It doesn't look like they have any plans for that though. There were a bunch of new people in Force Awakens, but they've still got the shadow of all of the original characters looming largely over them. That movie felt like it was more about the big 3 than it was about the new cast. Maybe they'll be able to get away from that in the third movie given what they've done in the past two. I'm not so sure that's possible at this point though.
  23. I think they're trying to play to both sides with these droids. On one hand, they can see "see, we're being more inclusive", but at the same time in response to those who complain "hey, it's just a robot".
  24. I've been in the place far too often lately, thanks to the annual surge in yard work. I've never really had to ask their people for anything though since I'm usually looking for basic stuff.. At this time of year, it's really easy to find the dirt and mulch yourself.
  25. I saw it on Saturday. It was decent, but nothing special. My one big issue was that I wish they had went with a different idea for the main scenes with the Falcon flying around. It was next to impossible to see anything in that scene.
