  1. And that's the wonder of a thread like this. I'm more than willing to try some new methods on a steak and there's more than enough inspiration here. In fact, I think I need to stop and pick one up on the way home tonight.
  2. I told mine to shut the F up yesterday. There's so much potential in the Sam Jackson response to that.
  3. The switch for all of my outdoor plugs is actually on one of the plugs in the garage. I'm not sure how common that is. The house is only 4 years old, so it's going to be pretty close to whatever the current codes are. I hadn't been in a house prior to that since around 2000 and I have absolutely not clue if the outdoor plugs had them or where they were. That one was built in the mid-70s.
  4. I suggest you google it, preferably while at work. What could possibly go wrong?
  5. They're required on outdoor plugs, right? I'd think the garage would meet that category.
  6. I would gladly be the judge of any steak contest. You know who wins? Me.
  7. Change that 69 on his forehead to 88. Problem solved.
  8. Call me when we get to Joker in October.
  9. Mattingly, I thought I told you to trim those sideburns!
  10. I was just scrolling through his IMDB page. His run of tv shows from the 60s-80s is incredible. You might as well just name any show and he was probably on it at some point.
  11. Yes you quickly forget, but it's also the kind of depth that all teams need. It's nice to have that kind of player to call up in an emergency as opposed to a very green rookie. That's one thing that they definitely added to the roster this offseason. No one blinks an eye at the signing of guys like Lazar, but it never hurts to have your pick of a few near NHL-level bodies when the inevitable injuries hit. Than and I'd much rather call up a 4th line guy for 4th line minutes as opposed to previous years where you might call up a Nylander and give him 4th line minutes. We don't really have any current young prospect forwards in Rochester, so I'll stick with that Nylander example for now.
  12. Maybe you send him down early so that it's easier for him to clear waivers. I feel like most teams already have too many bodies to sort through to add another to the mix by way of waiver claim.
  13. They should turn that into an add campaign...
  14. You get that gunky buildup around the opening of the bottle if you refrigerate them. It's not pretty. That's what happens with Frank's anyway.
  15. I'm pretty sure there was stuff earlier in the week about him regularly posting "rumors" and then deleting them pretty quickly. I'm too lazy to look, but I bet the one posted upthread has already been deleted.
  16. My neighbor watched the original with his 5th grader son last week. Each day after school, the kid cuts through my backyard on his way home. There's a drain in the back corner and I'm going to tie a red balloon to it on friday. I can't wait to see the reaction.
  17. Those people will probably be feuding with the helicopter group, slowly bridging into the Rick movies.
  18. I had a feeling that was him beating on some 18 year old, so I looked up the other guy. I couldn't have been more wrong. The other guy, Angello is a year older, 6 inches taller, and 25 pounds heavier (who knows if that number is up to date).
  19. My wife found $2 in a grocery store parking lot one time and she wanted to take it to customer service. $2. I told her that if she's really that opposed to keeping it, she should just leave it on the ground.
  20. I completely slept through everything last night, so I can't imagine that the wind was all that strong.
  21. I have a hard time imagining those kind of sustained wind speeds for an hour or two. To get them for over 24 hours? Crazy.
  22. 5? Wow. A house behind us has 2 and they're pretty loud. The younger one is under 2 years old, so I'm sure that has a lot to do with his barking. It's a real shame that he's not a puppy anymore because good god that dog was cute. I never thought of that possibility. I'm guessing that wasn't the case though because the woodland there is town owned.
  23. I was one of the first 10 or so houses in a new construction neighborhood. There was a stretch of about two years where people were dealing out of the undeveloped lots way in the back. That was a little uncomfortable but luckily it we knew it was a short term thing, once even one house went up in that immediate area, they were finished. And it definitely wasn't someone sneaking in to steal construction equipment because they were always way back beyond where any work had started.
  24. They took an old coke bottle and turned it into a gatorade bottle. Speaking of that, the woman in the truck specifically mentioned that they're looking for oil. So that means they do in fact have a magic oil refinery at the field. I'm sure that keeping that up and running is yet another skill in Al's arsenal.
