I upgraded my firefox and now I'm getting pop up ads complete with random audio and my malwarebytes program won't open. So yeah, I'm really enjoying that upgrade so far.

They have weak goaltending and defense. Yeah, they caught that little hot streak, and that is going to happen over the course of a season. Take out that stretch and their season has been very consistent. They're not very good.

I'm probably stretching the meaning of the word stars, but watch any Seinfeld episode. It's amazing how many people had minor roles on that show.

Why would they invite so many people when the first round is all that happens on the first day? Are they going for something similar to the NHL draft where everyone is there so you have the photo op with the player getting his new team's jersey? That usually is a pretty cool moment and would probably be more entertaining than the non-stop talking heads on espn.

I notice you guys talking about upgrading to 3.6. Over the last couple days, I've been randomly having a window open that says I should upgrade. I usually tend to stay away from windows that will pop up on their own like that, but is this one legit? I'd imagine going to website on my own would be the safest bet.

I wonder how many messageboards out there have that same running joke. Now I'm kind of curious about what kind of sites are used for the same purpose on other boards. There's potential here for a blog or something like that, I think.

Yeah, I was definitely thinking more of the internet than the writers themselves when I said that. The internet makes these things more readily available to the masses of idiots out there and things then spiral from there. The first example that comes to mind is the army of people out there who treat those Eklund NHL "rumors" as the Bible.

I'm not buying it. I think any sane person would've cut and pasted the link out of a bookmark without ever actually visiting the site.

It was definitely an entertaining read. It just goes to show how screwed up rumors and reporting have become thanks to the internet.

I love the first line of that quote. Pure comedy gold right there. I have to wonder though what exactly they talk about. Since it's the Bills webpage, they want you to think the players are talking about the organization itself, but I'd be willing to bet that they're talking more about the town itself.

As a Buffalo fan, I like knowing that there are other teams/people out there who will never win the big one.

Change the rules and eliminate 20 teams. Only a few minor tweaks is all it takes to re-create the olympic experience.

I love when people complain about that stuff. It's usually pretty funny and pretty much always dead on. Then again, I bet the show would be incredibly crappy if CTU was a well oiled machine.

Everytime I read this, I wonder which way they might have gone in 2008 instead if they had taken Revis the previous year. I don't know the drafts/talent enough to know what was available at the time.

These things almost never bother me with this show, but for once, I was bothered by the plausibility of the EMP. There really wasn't much, if any explosion to go along with it. I guess it's supposed to be the future and they have some crazy advanced technology, but it didn't sit well with me. I guess I was hoping for the twist ending to involve the parole officer instead... something, anything to make that story worth watching.

The ending was pretty lame to me. Oh well. The one thing I liked was how gullible the daughter was. We're going to go out of our way to have this argument about killing you right in a spot where you can see us. Oh well, yeah, I was annoyed by the EMP, but Jack and Cole fighting blind should be good for the next hour or two. Then it should be interesting to see who will be calling the shots with CTU out of the picture. And hey, no president for the last couple hours. That's a nice change of pace for once. edit: And really, can't the blonde chick just give the parole officer his stapler back so we can finally end that horrible storyline?

Actually, this past week's Coach's Corner shows a bit of his history. There's some very telling video in there.

It's obviously never the best source, but head to the criticisms portion of this link. He has multiple suspensions and has induced several concussions. Hell, he was suspended TWICE in 2009 for hits to the head. This youtube clip shows the two hits he was suspended for in 2009. The Walker hit is clearly late. I'm not really sure though how the Anisimov hit was suspendable but the Savard one wasn't. There may have been a little elbow in that hit, but it's tough to tell. It looks pretty damn similar though. Unfortunately, I can't dig up anything from his Vancouver days, but I'm sure it's out there somewhere.

Season 6 with Jack's evil family ranked last for me. It was an incredibly stupid way to go with a story.
