  1. Do those points figures account for points scored off of turnovers (yeah, I already know the answer), whether the defense took it to the house themselves or if they set the offense up in FG range? This current defense doesn't force any turnovers at all.
  2. And if I remember that episode correctly, he even said that they came to him and asked if they could use it.
  3. My former college's hockey team fell to #2 in the country. Where do I go to insult people?
  4. I really don't remember too much from that one now that I think about it.
  5. I'm hoping the administrator is just ridiculously lazy and never actually looked at the pictures. If that picture from the story was the one in question then laziness is the only thing that can save him/her (not saving his/her job, just saving from the ridicule of being called a complete idiot).
  6. I love that I can watch Imaginationland now and still pick up on characters in the background that I missed before. They put so much detail into that one.
  7. I wouldn't call the person a moron at all. It's clearly someone with a vendetta against the girl. Hell, I almost want to call the person a genius just based on the fact that complaining about that ridiculously tame picture actually got the job done.
  8. Whether or not Childress is a crappy coach, the fact that these quotes are surfacing says a lot about the lack of character for those Viking players.
  9. At least they answered my question about Mint Berry Crunch.
  10. I just played a game of demolition where I spawned in front of someone 4 times in a row. Not good black ops, not good.
  11. I think he was looking more for very kid-centric shows that we grew up watching (we're about a year and a half apart, so we watched all the same stuff). We did watch that a lot with our father, so I bet it could work. I think he's hoping more for some of those mid-to-late 80s cartoons. One I think would be perfect if it's on dvd would be Pee Wee's Playhouse (I'll count it in the cartoon category).
  12. Nuketown seemed pretty small the one time I played it. Either that or the spawns were absolutely horrible. Everybody kept spawning together in the same spot so the kill count was through the roof. The spy planes seem pretty damn useful too. Before I unlocked ghost, it seemed like if there was one up in the air, people were always waiting for me the second I rounded any corner. My only complaint about those spy planes though is that I'm currently trying to shoot them down but it takes me far too long to spot it in the sky. I'm so reluctant to spend the money on anything right now. I've only been willing to take the chance on one of the low paying contracts, but only because it was ridiculously simple. I haven't had that problem yet. I've been having some crappy connection issues though. A couple times last night my knife went right through someone's chest, then he circled around and shot me. I sneaked my way up into a sniper tower behind a guy yesterday, then shot him in the head with my shotgun from about a foot away. Yes somehow it didn't connect and he managed to turn around and shoot me. Must be another connection issue. But yeah, I had other times where I landed two short range shotgun blasts that didn't manage to kill the guy. I'm awful with the snipers, so this doesn't bug me one bit. I did try one briefly yesterday but only managed to land one single bullet. This one was kind of annoying actually. I somehow managed to pull off an awesome shot and hit a guy out of midair as he was jumping off a balcony. Unfortunately it didn't kill him and I got an assisted suicide instead. My big hope for the next time I turn it on is that I can find some better connections. I've read some stuff saying you can switch to a mode where it will search for local matches. Hopefully that takes care of things because I got disconnected way too many times yesterday.
  13. The real people who got screwed over were the ones on his staff who had just uprooted their lives and moved across the company. I know he gave some of the money to them, but that's still no easy task for most of them.
  14. He's way too young at this point, 4 months right now. I think my brother just wants to build up some sort of collection for a few years down the road.
  15. I stopped watching pretty quickly after she solved it. The rest really didn't seem to matter.
  16. I like it so far. I have no idea what to unlock though.
  17. I was awful at that game, so I doubt it. I enjoyed the team based stuff though, so I'll keep coming back for more deaths.
  18. No, I get why she didn't spin a second time. I must not have explained it clearly. If she's so sure about the solution, while picking the letter on her first and only spin, why didn't she pick a letter that would get her a little more money? If she had picked "T" instead, she walks away with the trip and $2700, instead of just $900. I'll stick with the thought that taking "L" proves to her that the first word isn't "I'll" and that her guess is safe.
  19. But that's what baseball is all about. There's way too much time to not have filler like that. I say give him an equally ancient color guy and have them ramble on and on about baseball in the 20s. It would remind me of the lineup of ringers Mr. Burns originally put together in the softball episode of the Simpsons. edit: And speaking of the Simpsons and impersonations of Scully, Hank Azaria's is awesome.
  20. No, I mean when picking that first letter, go with something like "T" instead. That was in there 3 times, so she gets more money and then can immediately solve the puzzle. I'm guess that the "L" was just guess to cover her in case she was wrong. That first word was obviously either "I've" or "I'll".
  21. So if she had such a great feeling about it, why didn't she pick one of the letters that appeared more than once so she could get more money?
  22. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned earlier in the thread, but either way, anytime this question comes up people always talk about how great the Xbox controller is. I've never even touched an Xbox, so I've always wondered what is so great about those controllers? I've never had any problems with the playstation controller, but then again, I've been playing that system since its birth.
  23. He was the worst actor on the face of the earth and that somehow made him perfect. I really miss him and Kevin Nealon. I really enjoyed Nealon's subliminal man act.
  24. And they need to find a way to keep Scully alive forever because that voice should never go away.
  25. My brother's been telling me that I should look for some DVD's for christmas that he can watch with his son over the next few years. Dinosaurs might be a good one. Thanks for reminding me about that show.
