  1. Is that 4 people swept out to see today? I really don't want to make fun of the situation, but really, how does that happen? If only there were some warnings issued about the conditions headed towards the coast. Anyway, all of the video I've seen from Japan today is unreal. It's amazing how powerful one tiny little event can be.
  2. Is there any legal way that they can prevent that guy from ever stepping foot in that store again? It would be great if they could, you know, just for the principle of the matter. I'd call it the "don't be an ass" law.
  3. A really long lockout?
  4. I don't like the way the undrafted free agents are included into that analysis. Comparing each of the rounds is fine since there are roughly an equal amount of picks in each round. There are far more undrafted free agent signings though, so that's going to inflate the number of starters out of that group a bit. That needs to be weighted in some fashion.
  5. How long is the window on these patents?
  6. What if it was a lesbian warewolf?
  7. They want attention and they know how to get it. If the media would actually smarten up and ignore these stories, I'm sure they'd find a whole new way of getting that attention.
  8. But was the location given on the map the actual home of the reporter?
  9. Every time you type that, I think Martin Sheen.
  10. It's probably slightly off topic, but I have never understood the obsession with the zamboni. To me, it was always that thing that needed to get off the ice faster so the hockey could start back up again or I could get out there on the ice myself.
  11. Why's it called "Sucker Punch" if there are a bunch of planes, robots and sword fights?
  12. The half stripes on the arms kind of annoy me, but I would take that in a heartbeat.
  13. But did he ever edit Gary Bettman's wikipedia page so that it says he "awarded" the Stanley Cup to Dallas? That's the true sign of a fan.
  14. That article seemed like it was missing about 90% of the information on this story.
  15. The difficulty speaking really didn't seem like much of a big deal to me. He's very new to this forum. He'll figure it out soon enough. The rest of your post really bugs me though. I just did a quick search and I saw that he moved to Olean in '75. Do you really expect someone living in a completely different part of the country to be a fan of a team from an area he has never actually been to? Sure, it probably helps that the team was where they were when he happened to move to the area, but in the end, that's just coincidence. This whole idea that someone can't be as big of a fan as someone else if they weren't there as long is a bunch of BS. The vast majority of the fanbase wasn't there from the start, so I guess that makes most of us bad or lesser fans.
  16. George and Lucille Bluth
  17. Can I get an executive producer credit?
  18. I'd imagine that these people will find a new job pretty quickly. Someone will reward them for doing the right thing.
  19. It's a very bold move. There just always ends up being nowhere near enough time in a movie to tell a story involving that many characters. So trying to tie things together with a series of separate movies does sound like a good idea. The problem is that there always winds up being so much time between the release of each of the movies. So maybe having Captain America and Thor coming out this summer will help with that. And I always forget about the Hulk connection for this planned movie since, if I remember correctly, Norton has already said he doesn't want to be involved in it.
  20. It's a David E Kelley show? That one seems completely out of left field. I bet he finds a way to base the show out of Boston. I might just give it a shot since he's in charge. I can't see it working out though. This doesn't seem like the kind of show that would work in today's tv market.
  21. I think a 3 word statement from Alabama about this guy would be more than enough: "You're an idiot".
  22. Is it really political correctness though? I don't think it has anything to do with them thinking people will be insulted by the name. They're rejecting it because they know they'll be a laughing stock. They're not trying to be politically correct, they're trying to save face.
