  1. Of course, back when these comments were made, no one knew for sure whether Poz would be restricted or not.
  2. So it's one giant straw? I'd suggest one of those crazy ones with all the fun loops, but we probably don't have the money for that. I'd settle for a giant bendy straw.
  3. That's a good point. I can't tell you the last time I heard her name before today.
  4. I saw Horrible Bosses last night. It was easily the best comedy I've seen this summer. A good effort by just about everyone involved.
  5. I'd guess Gordon protege for Gordon-Levitt's character.
  6. I only saw bits and pieces of it, but that wasn't really a reboot, was it? I thought they were continuing on from the first one, but with an entirely different cast and crew.
  7. It's definitely way too early for a reboot. It's so soon that it looks like they phased any Osborns completely out of it. I'm not a big Spiderman guy, but that doesn't seem right to me at all.
  8. Does he have any movie work under his belt other than Serenity? They're even billing it that way in the teaser. It really makes you wonder how off the script they could go because of it. I'm not so sure anyone is guaranteed to make it out alive in that one. Based on the teaser alone, things don't look too promising for one core Batman character.
  9. I'm a bit biased, but I have much higher hopes for TDKR. Still, I hope both movies deliver. They definitely have casts/crew that can make good things happen.
  10. If you're going to be concerned about too many characters, the Avengers has to jump to the top of that list by default. There's going to be a long list of star power in that one. If they can balance out all those characters, more power to them. Nolan's already put together some good balance in the first two movies. Ra's, Scarecrow, Falcone, Batman, Gordon, Alfred, Fox in Begins and then Joker, Dent, Maroni, brief Scarecrow appearance, other mob members, Batman, Gordon, Fox in The Dark Knight. That's a pretty long list there, pretty similar in length to what you listed for the new one. I also don't think they wind up going with the rumored Talia Al Ghul character like you mentioned.
  11. Look at some of the acts mentioned in that story. My guess is the event is sponsored by Labatt.
  12. And the Dark Knight Rises trailer made its way onto the internet officially yesterday. It should be interesting to see these two movies battle it out next summer. Can't wait.
  13. That's some strange timing. I drove by there while I was in town last week and immediately thought "wow, I can't believe they're still around".
  14. He may be untouchable now thanks to the lockout, but he's making that giant bullseye on his chest even bigger. It can't be too long now before he gets himself black listed by the entire league.
  15. Not that it has any impact on anything (other than maybe being the reason he needed the 2nd gun), but when he chased the kid outside, did he fire some shots out there too?
  16. I think you pretty much nailed it there. This was an execution. He may have had a defense if he instead beat the crap out of the guy while he was on the ground, an emotional response. This one just looks so calm and calculated to me.
  17. Especially since they currently have lawyers calling them every second of the day.
  18. I loved the Spock references. They were really timely seeing as how I watched Wrath of Khan last night. That and the final battle were just about all I enjoyed.
  19. I have no idea if she's single, but I wish my dentist would sexually harass me.
  20. And I'm not so sure a bunch of individual accomplishments really factor in to the discussion here. If we're talking winning games/championships, those 3 Grey Cups are the only ones that should enter this discussion.
  21. And for the record, I was talking about Drury.
  22. Is the horseradish strong enough where you can get that sinus clearing moment where it hits you in just the right spot?
  23. But he does know how to win, lucking his way into a situation where he's a young guy surrounded by elite talent.
  24. I still wonder what really counts as an original idea at this point. So much has been done over the years now that someone will always be able to find a past project that has similarities to this so called original idea.
  25. Yeah, the folks at One Bills Drive are saying "please buy us! please buy us!" Ralph on the other hand could not care less. I can't picture a guy his age caring what the public thinks about him anymore.
