  1. You're about to get some negative comments for that post.
  2. Was there power? I should really pay more attention. All that really stuck out to me was all those fires at night.
  3. Disney has a strange contract when it comes to the Marvel stuff though. I was in Disney World earlier in the month and talking to one of the employees, it turns out they're not allowed to even have even one piece of Marvel stuff inside their parks. Universal holds the rights for that stuff in amusement parks for whatever reason. I wonder if something similar might be in place on the movies, make all the money you want, but keep your logo off of it. But whatever that rule is, you're right, I don't think they'd do much logo-wise with the new movies. But the one thing that will be really strange, and I think it was mentioned here, will be the opening of the movie without the 20th Century Fox stuff. That music flowed into the opening theme so perfectly.
  4. For some reason I'm thinking the Avengers was the first of the Disney-owned Marvel films. I'm sure Mark Vader will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.
  5. Andrea got better at the end of season 2, but they completely killed that with this episode. I guess we can all look forward to her winding up on the receiving end of some sort of sadistic Governor killing. And as for Daryl, at least he's actually had a bunch of screen time, unlike Fett.
  6. Hopefully Disney corrects those mistakes and releases the original version. That would be a great lead in to the new movie, so I fully expect them to do it. Oh, and I can't wait to see all the internet hate when they make their choices on recasting those key roles.
  7. 5. I still want to know why Mike Lodish came to mind so quickly for his question. For some reason that is one of those facts that always sticks out in my mind.
  8. Benjamin Sisko: the tallest midget
  9. And they didn't even mention how she had been using the zombies as pack mules, carrying all their gear.
  10. I wonder how long they had been in that small fenced in area. I can imagine them being very sleep deprived
  11. So I guess that means it wasn't Merle watching Carol
  12. The Saints would beg to differ. That's one hell of an extreme case though, especially since it does look like the league definitely locks up these elite QBs well ahead of time. And speaking of Brees, there's another level of subjectivity of this type of look. Being the first pick of the 2nd round, he may as well have been a first rounder. In fact, he went 32nd overall in 2001 and Ramsey went 32nd overall the next year. Ramsey winds up being counted here since Houston was added to the league that year bumping up the number of teams to 32. It's obviously subjective, but I'd be curious to see how many QBs went in the top 5 or 10 picks of the second round over that time.
  13. Is the person sharing the file making any money whether it is from subscriptions or advertisements? At that point, you definitely have someone who stole something and someone who is receiving stolen goods.
  14. But is your buddy gaining a couple bucks by loaning his DVD to you?
  15. I have absolutely no idea what I saw in that trailer. You have Kingsley as the Mandarin, but other than that, I'm confused.
  16. I also thought it was strange that it almost looks like they were trying to say that Janeway came before Sisko. Oh, and Shatner is 81 now, I still don't believe that.
  17. My money's on Merle. Edit: And on that note, I wonder how much we will even see of Rick's group next week. It seems like they'll have a lot of catching up to do with Andrea and Michonne since they weren't even in this one.
  18. Except that the network owns those shows and has the right to say how/when it airs. And this is probably a stupid question, but I'm assuming the FX website doesn't have these shows available? I know I've caught up on recent episodes of certain shows directly from the network's website.
  19. I saw Argo yesterday. The whole thing made me realize that back in school, nothing ever touched on these Iran days. None of my history classes every went much beyond WWII. That just drives me crazy. But anyway, I enjoyed it, especially since my showing started at 1PM.
  20. I shouldn't be laughing at this, but the reaction of the opposing player standing back in the endzone was hilarious. He completely nailed that Charlie Brown sad walk off (insert Arrested Development clip here).
  21. I love the line about how Fehr doesn't know whether or not this is a serious attempt from the league to negotiate. That's pretty funny considering that the players have yet to negotiate in any way.
  22. Watch a typical NHL preseason game. They're completely pointless. These guys won't miss a step.
  23. It's a shame that she never stopped to think that a fetus has no teeth or strength.
  24. They weren't charging a rental fee since day one? I figured this was standard approach from the cable companies.
  25. One thing that never comes across in any tv show like this is how dark that room really was supposed to be. It doesn't seem too unreasonable to me that he might not have even been aware that zombie was there. I'd have to watch it again though, as I'm not sure if he made an obvious attempt to step over it.
