  1. Having to drive 10 MPH until there aren't any cars coming the other direction and I can finally get around him. Wash rinse and repeat at every traffic signal.
  2. At this point there's very little point to watching a show from the beginning. Networks pull the plug so fast. I gave SHIELD a chance since I knew ABC would give it plenty of time to develop. With the others, I'll just wait and see which shows wind up getting positive feedback and then later watch them on demand or on netflix.
  3. I got stuck at just about every red light this morning on the way to work. I was the first car in line at each light. This guy on a bike was leapfrogging the traffic and jumping up front at each light. He did wait to go though until the light went green. I realize this guy isn't doing anything wrong, but man did it get frustrating. At each light I had to slowly move forward because there wasn't enough room to get around this guy (narrow roads with traffic in both directions).
  4. And the mystery person feeding rats to the walkers. I hope it is someone trying to sabotage the prison and not just one of those stupid little girls who was treating the walkers like pets. As for the mystery killer, it has to be one of the two guys with medical training, the new doctor and the alcoholic guy. Those are the only ones who are really going to understand just how bad this virus could be.
  5. Just about all I'm curious about at this point is to see where they are going with his story. What really happened after New York?
  6. And when you start looking at the stone to put in the ring, tell them to put away that ridiculously high end $20K stone that they show you "just for comparison". Obviously you're not going to buy it, but it will still guilt you into buying as pricey a rock as possible. And once I read the first post in this thread, I assumed it would take 3 or 4 more posts until someone said they can't offer advice until they see a picture. How has that not happened yet?
  7. That and Cotton was absolutely amazing.
  8. I saw the story show up on facebook last night maybe around 6PM or so. I was half expecting it to be a joke and they were about to pull off a massive prank on all of us. I guess not.
  9. I don't think the governor will come back before they leave the prison. He's coming back at some point and it would make far more sense for him to go after them at the prison as opposed to some other random location.
  10. "It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care." I think that one just about sums up my thoughts on so much of my school days perfectly.
  11. Translation: One of the guards decided to kill him in one of the most embarrassing ways possible (not that I blame him) and they are now covering it up.
  12. Speaking of the radio stations, I don't know if I just haven't been paying attention as much, but so far they don't seem anywhere near as entertaining as in previous games.
  13. The one on the right is basically a 49ers helmet on a Seahawks uniform. Hilarious.
  14. I think the thing that bugs me the most about all of this is that the idiot in the RR had his doors unlocked. What in the hell were you thinking?
  15. I just noticed that when the power plant is haunted, Frank Grimes' ghost hovers over it. That's pretty cool. A few other buildings have their own random ghosts. Moe's has a ghost chugging beer. The prison has one in an electric chair. The library had something but I didn't look closely enough. There are some nice touches they added.
  16. Yeah, I always use them for characters. I really wish I could get back the ones I spent on Pye though. I'd love to have Disco Stu, but I don't have enough. If they do another Gil deal, I may throw in a couple bucks. But hey, it looks like we are all going to get Lard Lad and some other premium building for free thanks to the global prize for ghosts. That's what the shadow on that rewards page is, isn't it?
  17. I was about to send along the same exact message to Mrags. His town is making my app crash too. I've seen it happen one other time with someone who went way overboard on the houses. And I got a donut from a ghost yesterday too. That's the only one so far, but it was a pleasant surprise. So how did you get your 666 anyway? Just been sitting on them for a while and not spending any of them? If you do decide to use a few, don't bother with Arnie Pye. His helicopter flying around the sky is very annoying and gets in the way when you want to click on buildings.
  18. How exactly does Amazon Prime work? I've noticed it on my PS3 right next to Netflix but never gave it any thought. How much is it and is it worth it?
  19. The bathroom here has a single stall and a single urinal. A couple weeks back I was in the stall. If someone is ever in there, you know it because if the door isn't locked, it swings wide open. So if the door is close, someone is in there. So while I'm in there, someone walks into the bathroom. He slowly circled around the entire stall. He then pushed on the door to see if it was locked. After seeing that it was locked, he then asked out loud "is someone in there". What the hell? The locked door wasn't clue enough for you? I have a strict "no talking in a public restroom" rule, so I didn't answer. For a second there, I really thought the guy was going to attempt to climb under the stall walls, but I still had to stick with my rule. The whole thing was pretty creepy.
  20. That one is probably next on my list once I finish Breaking Bad. But at least you can get all the Red Green you need.
  21. I just got Netflix in September. I finished season 4 of Breaking Bad last night. My main purpose for getting it was that show and a few others I have never seen. I was hoping to get a few more movies out of the streaming service, but it is lacking a bit there. The TV shows do seem to be well worth the money though. I am about to get one unexpected result from signing up. I haven't seen an episode of Cheers in ages, so I'm looking forward to going through the entire series at some point. I was thinking mostly newer TV shows when I signed up, but I found a few other things I never even thought of.
  22. Every gremlin dropped off in a town is equal to 4 goo. If I drop one off in your town, it will be there for 4 hours or until you kill it. If you kill it, you get 2 goo and I get 2 goo. If you don't kill in during the 4 hours, I get all 4 goo. So for each gremlin you drop off, you are guaranteed at least 2. So you want to send them out as often as possible. I noticed with your town and those buildings everywhere that the gremlins can get lost. I think people might like leaving them in your town then because they are far more likely to get all 4 goo since you will have a hard time seeing them. And jboyst, you're probably thinking of me. I'm up near 1000 already. There's a guy at work who plays the game way too much while here and he had a lot of gremlins running around in my town yesterday. I'd check in and kill a few and then a few more would show up right away.
  23. I also like that someone can only have 10 gremlins running around at a time. With this system, there's no need for people sharing them back and forth. I just drop them in whatever town I see at this point, especially since it nets me at least 2 goo each time I send one out. And as for the ghosts, you can pop 5 of them in each town you visit. I've noticed though that you can get 6 or 7 if you act quickly. As you're down to one last ghost, if you move quickly, you can get any others that are close by on the screen. I also don't think it effects how many are left after you leave. Any time you show up in someone else's town, there are a ton of ghost.
  24. It seems like the gremlins do stick to roads, but they're not key to the event. They're basically the eggs from whacking day, except they run around. You also can only have 10 max running around in your town at once, so it doesn't look like people will have to pair up and trade back and forth like you did with the eggs.
  25. I like this so far. The ghosts can't hid behind buildings (gremlins can though), so it shouldn't wind up being anywhere near as tedious as whacking day was.
