  1. Something has to come of it. They said the vet clinic they were headed to was 50 miles away. They sure as hell aren't walking back.
  2. If they shut it down, hopefully it is replaced with a sewage processing plant.
  3. I fear for character overload in this one. It almost feels like there should have been one more movie between First Class and this, but I guess Hollywood likes to jump into the deep end quickly now (ie. Batman vs. Superman). I really hope they get this one right though. Anything that removes X3 from memory is good by me.
  4. Do they even know it is a flu at this point? They pretty much have to cover all their bases and get anything they can. But anyway, I could see people in a panic situation like this (as if there would be some realistic panic moment anything like this one) not having any clue what they actually need. But hey, that massive zombie herd was pretty damn cool. There's one thing that could definitely bring down the prison if it ever moved that way.
  5. Who was the first person to ever link to that site? These are the kind of stories that need to be told.
  6. How many hellicarriers does SHIELD have that can and will be destroyed?
  7. I'd put more weight into an idea like that if a guy like Scotty Bowman, possibly the greatest coach of all time, never played pro hockey. I'm sure we could come up with a long list of other coaches who never made it as a player. If a player doesn't want to listen to a coach since he never made it to the big time, I'm going to call them spoiled and arrogant.
  8. Both Kane and Toews cannot sign a new contract until after this season. It is not allowed by the CBA.
  9. It started out well last season too. The first episode where they broke into the prison was great stuff. Hopefully they can sustain it this time because they couldn't last year.
  10. I could see it being one of the girls though. They did it last year with the mysterious figure watching carol in the yard practicing c sections on zombies. We wanted to think it was someone special but it just wound up being the inmate we thought was dead.
  11. Like I said, I was the first in line at several red lights, so it stands to reason that without the delay I probably would have made one of those lights. Honestly though, the frustration is more of a statement about the conditions of the road around here lately. Things have been god awful slow since school started up, much worse than in previous years. Add that extra slow down this morning to all those factors (including the way maniacs drive out here) and I'm just about ready to slam my head through the window.
  12. Every time I think about the future of this offense, I wonder about how much longer Kyle Williams can maintain his level of play. He's not getting any younger. How many of the top DTs excel into their 30s? I have no idea what the answer is, but I'd expect the wear and tear at that position to be pretty tough as guys cross over to the wrong side of 30.
  13. Having to drive 10 MPH until there aren't any cars coming the other direction and I can finally get around him. Wash rinse and repeat at every traffic signal.
  14. At this point there's very little point to watching a show from the beginning. Networks pull the plug so fast. I gave SHIELD a chance since I knew ABC would give it plenty of time to develop. With the others, I'll just wait and see which shows wind up getting positive feedback and then later watch them on demand or on netflix.
  15. I got stuck at just about every red light this morning on the way to work. I was the first car in line at each light. This guy on a bike was leapfrogging the traffic and jumping up front at each light. He did wait to go though until the light went green. I realize this guy isn't doing anything wrong, but man did it get frustrating. At each light I had to slowly move forward because there wasn't enough room to get around this guy (narrow roads with traffic in both directions).
  16. And the mystery person feeding rats to the walkers. I hope it is someone trying to sabotage the prison and not just one of those stupid little girls who was treating the walkers like pets. As for the mystery killer, it has to be one of the two guys with medical training, the new doctor and the alcoholic guy. Those are the only ones who are really going to understand just how bad this virus could be.
  17. Just about all I'm curious about at this point is to see where they are going with his story. What really happened after New York?
  18. And when you start looking at the stone to put in the ring, tell them to put away that ridiculously high end $20K stone that they show you "just for comparison". Obviously you're not going to buy it, but it will still guilt you into buying as pricey a rock as possible. And once I read the first post in this thread, I assumed it would take 3 or 4 more posts until someone said they can't offer advice until they see a picture. How has that not happened yet?
  19. I saw the story show up on facebook last night maybe around 6PM or so. I was half expecting it to be a joke and they were about to pull off a massive prank on all of us. I guess not.
  20. I don't think the governor will come back before they leave the prison. He's coming back at some point and it would make far more sense for him to go after them at the prison as opposed to some other random location.
  21. "It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care." I think that one just about sums up my thoughts on so much of my school days perfectly.
  22. Translation: One of the guards decided to kill him in one of the most embarrassing ways possible (not that I blame him) and they are now covering it up.
  23. Speaking of the radio stations, I don't know if I just haven't been paying attention as much, but so far they don't seem anywhere near as entertaining as in previous games.
  24. The one on the right is basically a 49ers helmet on a Seahawks uniform. Hilarious.
