  1. His interview style shouldn't be too difficult to translate over to his non-character role. It's the rest of the show that will take a lot of work to figure out.
  2. So will he stay in character? That seems like a big break from the usual routine they have on the network late night shows.
  3. It's crazy how many kids do these stupid things now. My wife teaches 4th grade at a small catholic school and she had a girl tell her last week that she likes to blow up buildings. The girl is incredibly odd and I've heard a lot of stories about her throughout the year. I told my wife that she needs to tell someone about what the girl said. It's more than likely nothing as the girl sounds harmless, but that's not a chance you can take anymore.
  4. I heard a good line on the radio the other day. It was something along the lines of twitter blowing up sunday night with comments about wresting being fake. Those same people then turned around and watched a show with dragons. I gave up on wrestling maybe 5 years ago or so, but I won't question anyone who watches it. We've seen enough point shaving scandals and corrupt refs in the so called real sports that the "it's fake!" complaints ring hollow with me at this point. Another thing that I think happens a lot with people who stop watching wresting is that they eventually come back to it when they have kids of their own.
  5. I won't go very often since there are far more convenient stores for me, but I'm looking forward to the opening of the store in Burlington, MA this fall. It'll be maybe a half an hour drive and I can head over there every other month or so to load up on my Buffalo essentials like Weber's mustard. I just wish it was open before the summer grilling season.
  6. I'm sorry to hear that millbank. It's never an easy process, but I hope it isn't too rough on you.
  7. I was hoping someone would mention it quickly. Which of the other movies would you say you absolutely have to see before watching this one?
  8. From the looks of things I think someone can get my without seeing most of them. Watch the ones I mentioned and then get a quick description of the Avengers and I think that will be enough.
  9. My wife is actually willing to go see Captain America with me. I keep telling her that she's going to be very confused if she doesn't watch some of the earlier movies first. Obviously the first Captain America would be a must. Other than that, I think just Ironman, especially since I think she'll actually like that one.
  10. Sounds like Carol to me. She's not second in command at this point, but that could easily change in the future. Her character development has been great.
  11. I just assumed they filmed all the flashbacks at the same time they were filming the season premiere. I can't picture them calling him and the Harry Potter kid back in to film two quick scenes.
  12. I know the popular opinion seems to be that Carol and Tyrese will play a big role in saving them and that Beth has already been eaten. I get the feeling that she's going to play a big role in them getting out. That episode was full of foreshadowing and the last flashback had Rick putting the hat on her and saying "there's a new sheriff in town". I couldn't help but think there was something to that. I'll also gladly admit the possibility that the flashback could have also served the purpose of giving one more scene to Beth before never being seen again, just like it was for Hershel.
  13. There's some kind of fever that sets in with a bite, which makes people die quicker. They've mentioned it a lot. It is different than whatever brings the dead back to life. That sickness would be the only worry about eating walker meat.
  14. Why not just eat the zombies? If you cook them really good you should kill off whatever is in them that causes that zombie-bite fever.
  15. I don't think anything I say below can really be classified as spoilers, but just in case, this is your warning. I'm a few episodes into season 2 right now. I hope the subplot with the newspaper editor goes somewhere eventually (and I'm sure it will), but right now he annoys me.
  16. It's interesting that they pretty much show Storm getting killed.
  17. Yeah, I'd love to know what happened there. It was completely sealed and full of walkers. Then there was at least one dead body up front near the driver seat. I'm sure they just quickly moved on because that scenario made little sense.
  18. And the bus. I wish we could have found out what happened there, but oh well. I'm assuming it was sprayed with bullets as it drove away and a couple people turned while they were driving down that road.
  19. I made a milkshake for him once when I worked at Charlap's back in the late 90s. Yeah, my story is boring.
  20. Does Atlantis have an airport?
  21. I don't think he will care one bit once he sees them carrying Judith.
  22. It's getting better, but I kind of wish they could end it right there. I can't picture any better way to end this series than with that episode. All hope is dead and mankind has no future in their world. That is what the series is all about.
  23. I haven't watched an episode in ages but the double axe handle was the first thing that came to my mind. I'm pretty sure it showed up in just about every clip in that video.
  24. The original came out in 2006. They were pretty slow if they were trying to rush it.
  25. At the very end of this week's episode they showed Glenn walking up to one of the Terminus signs. The rest of that group should still be with him.
