Just watched the finale. It was an excellent end to an excellent season. Rhea Seehorn deserves an Emmy. Kim Wexler is such a well written and well acted character. I never expected “slippin” Kimmy to break bad before Jimmy. And the callback to the season 4 finale (double finger guns) was great.
Kim’s gonna end up in jail as a result of her scheme, I believe.
They had a nice little call back to the start of season 2 in the last couple episodes too. The very first time Jimmy and Kim ran a scheme together, they tricked a stock broker into paying for an entire bottle full of $50 tequila shots. They kept the cork from that bottle, it was a weird looking thing with a tassel on it. That was the last thing Kim went back to her office to grab after she quit.
It totally flew over my head until I started season 2 last night.

Lalo appears to have survived into the Breaking Bad timeline....
Breaking Bad: Season 2, Episode 8
Saul: It wasn't me, it was Ignacio. He's the one. <some Spanish>
Walt/Jesse: Shut up
Saul: Lalo didn't send you?
I could see Saul never actually encountering Lalo again between this last episode and that moment in Breaking Bad. It's probably tough to keep him completely isolated from whatever Lalo is going to do next, but I think Fring and Mike are capable of that much.

I hope Mandelorian has some kind of end game in mind and doesn't drag on for too many seasons. Eventually Baby Yoda will become Teenager Yoda, and like all teenagers he'll just be an a**hole.
Mandelorian: It's 3AM! Where were you! I was afraid the Empire got you!
Teenager Yoda: Shut up you will! My father you are not!
But isn't he like 50 years old already? Mando will probably be long dead by the time he hits teenager status.

Just hope we don't have to wait 2 years for the ending.......
The episode is bugging me for that very reason.
But I'm glad I re-watched the first season this week. I don't think I would have remembered the details of Sandpiper at this point.

The Gretzky trade had a bunch of factors, none of which exist with the Sabres/Eichel situation.
St. Louis gave up next to nothing in that trade.
Oh wait, you mean that other trade...

The wife and I just finished the first season last night. I had forgotten so many things, but it's very interesting to see certain things knowing where the show has gone since then. The main thing that really sticks out to me is that I had completely forgotten just how much Jimmy loved and admired Chuck.
And then there's flash forwards, flashbacks, and flashbacks within flashbacks. How much they're able to show and tie together within this show, it's truly amazing.

The flash forward scenes to Omaha have to be building towards a big payoff. I hope it's something other than getting caught.

I think Kim and Lalo's story lines are going to be connected from this point. She's "in the game".
Lalo seems impressed by Kim and her suggestions of money laundering and shell accounts may have set the wheels in motion. I think he's going to try to recruit her and possibly try to seduce her
Maybe Saul knew about the vaccuum repairman because Kim was the first person he sent to him. Of course, it would be very tough to ever show that since Robert Forster is dead.

I just saw the story that Howard Finkel died. I think he may have been a bigger deal than any of those guys out there in the ring.

Another fantastic episode. The season finale is setting up to be awesome. I gave up trying to predict Gilligan and Co. a long time ago, I just know I’m gonna enjoy whatever he delivers.
I was wondering why no one had commented yet. That whole final scene had me on the edge of my chair. Kim deserves an emmy for that scene alone. She's so damn good in the show lately, which is why I've recently found myself hoping she's still alive in the Breaking Bad universe.
edit: And on another note, my wife never bothered to start this show even though she loved Breaking Bad. So we started the series from the beginning last night. I've forgotten most of it at this point, so it was interesting to see how far they've all come since that first episode (and *****, I want more Tuco!).

In home blood drawing kits? I wonder how often those have been used. It seems like a recipe for disaster.

Isn't it almost a given that a guy with that kind of hip surgery only a handful of months ago is going to fail physicals?

exactly. the only dead we saw with a gun were soldiers
or wearing hunting camouflageHa, that's a different angle I wasn't even thinking of. If you're a whisperer and you suddenly decide to fire a gun in the middle of your horde, that's not ending too well for you.

If dry. the whisperers don't really have the means do they?
Well that and guns aren't really a great weapon when you're trying to walk among a giant horde like they do.

The attached WGR Instigator link is about 20 minutes long. Chris Taylor, the Amerks coach, talks about players such as Mittelstadt, Lazar and Tage from a development standpoint. His comments about Mittelstadt were encouraging. He laments the necessity to shut down the league because he felt that not only did those cancelled games hurt the development of players but also hurt the franchise's ability to know exactly where the players were in their development status to make the NHL jump.

Any quick summary on the comments about Tage? I have a hard time picturing there being much to that conversation since he basically lost the entire season.

Maggie May return by “season’s” end
They showed it on sunday night. They knew they had to throw a big one out there thanks to the delay in the finale. So there's no surprise to her showing up at this point.

That's nothing new, people have been doing that since self checkouts started being installed in stores.
And they've also gone the fake label route even with real cashiers.

The wife and I went to Costco this morning at around 9:30. If you're able to do it, weekdays are by far the best. There were a decent number of people, but we may as well have had the place to ourselves. I never thought I'd see the day where I could walk right up to a cash register in that store.

Negan shot the guy last week using a whisperer gun.
Ahhh, good call.
It's kind of funny to have a bullet shortage in one place and then Princess firing off that machine gun in another.

The guy who played Ben was really good at the end.

I kind of wish they had pulled the plug on the last 3 or 4 episodes. It's a bit cruel to leave us hanging at this point. I'm sure they didn't out at the right point, but I'd rather get 3 or 4 episodes in a row once they are able to edit up the finale. Still, they managed to throw a couple big conversation pieces out there with the opening to the finale, which they showed on Talking Dead last night.
@SlimShady'sSpaceForce, have we actually seen them fire the guns at all? I kind of wonder if they just hold them for the intimidation factor but don't actually have any ammo.

I wonder if they have any vacation saved up if they just wind up using that instead. I'm not very familiar with the rest, but it's amazing how long Shred and Ragan have been doing their show at this point. I've been listening pretty much since day one, on the bus on the way to school, hoping those canadians would moo back.
