This is the message that needs to be delivered to my mother-in-law. She pretty much demands that everyone grieve the same exact way she does. She has told my wife on several occasions that my wife hasn't cried enough over this. It is pure BS and all it does is create tension where there shouldn't be any. Someone who just lost their husband of 40 years is not going to react the same way as a 30 year old losing her father. People are different and the sooner the M-I-L figures that out the better. Two weeks ago she actually got upset when I told her that my wife is doing well given everything that happened in the past year. It's just all the more reason to just sit in the corner and to not say a single word. But then again, if there is no right or wrong, I guess her trying to force her grief upon others is ok too. Ours may have just been bad timing in general. They lived in a very rural area in the mountains of NH and there was a snowstorm one night. The on call nurse took about 6 hours to show up for an emergency call that night. That and they thought it was a good idea to have a 1 and 3 year old in the house during all of this. I'm sure it is different depending on the circumstances, but ours was just a major trainwreck. Right now I'm wishing I hadn't clicked on this thread this morning because it's all starting to hit me again. Best of wishes to you. I hope you can find whatever it is you need to find some peace in all of this.

Sabres on NBC-NBCSN 5 Times Next Season
shrader replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in Off the Wall Archives
People like to post all the advanced stats, but I'll go with a much more simple one. This team cannot continue to win when they are getting outshot by nearly a 2-to-1 ratio on most nights. It is not sustainable. They will return to normal soon enough. -
We went through that just about a year ago now with my father-in-law. Good luck to you James, it was a rough couple of days. I just hope the care isn't at home like it was for him last year. That was a bit too much to go through.

I went to Horrible Bosses 2 this weekend. It wasn't as good as the first one, but I liked it. They were smart enough to not do something like the Hangover 2 and completely recycle the same exact plot. Any movie is going to be that much better when they get the big time actors in supporting roles like both of these movies had. I can't think of many other movies with that many award winning actors in the background.

Abraham and company pulling right up to the front door of the hospital really bugged me. We just spent the last two episode with Rick's group plotting how to get in, and some of that planning was back at the church with Michonne and Carl. Then they just drive right up the front door to find them. If they show up a few hours too early, there goes the entire plan!

If the season 1 stuff at the CDC is to be believed, it will have to be outside of the US. It's been a long time since I saw those episodes, but didn't they something about a French lab potentially being up and running still with their research? edit: There you go, it will be a show about the French dealing with the zombie apocalypse. Just like AMC's other spinoff series, it will be much heavier with the comedy.

I'd like to see absolutely zero chance of it every overlapping with the main show. Place it somewhere like Europe.

I don't know what to think on this one. The story just seems a bit too crazy. Whether it's drugs, alcohol, or something else, there are some more details that are missing. And no, I definitely wasn't saying that he shot her. That one would be easy to prove if it was actually him.

No one is going to want the protests from women's groups that will follow Rice no matter where he goes

At this point, Morgan might wind up finding the priest. I completely forgot that he is still out there wondering.

It would be one hell of a curve ball if the only major character who dies next week is one of the three at the church. No one would see that coming. That won't happen though, but it would be an interesting twist.

Do we believe his story?

Why Does Al Sharpton Need Police Officer's Name?
shrader replied to 3rdnlng's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I saw in another report that they have video. I get the feeling that it will be very telling of what happened and then this story will go away pretty quickly. What I want to know is who removed the orange tip. If it was the parents, that would do wonders for their idea of a lawsuit. -
I went to see Interstellar this weekend. It didn't feel nearly as long as its actual running time, so that's always a good thing. I can't help but wonder how confused my wife was throughout the whole thing when most of the science is way over my head. Anyway, I wasn't too crazy about the ending. Everything after the black hole just didn't feel right to me. Still, I enjoyed it. I noticed the complaints earlier about the sound. I don't know if I was in a weaker theater or what, but I never noticed any issues. One sound thing did drive me crazy though. The entire movie I was trying to place the voice of the robot. He sounded so familiar to me but I couldn't figure it out. Then when I got home and looked it up, it was some guy I have never heard of. That was a bit of a letdown.

Can they do anything at this point to make Daryl look even more badass? The Sasha thing was just painfully stupid. They've been slowly building her up lately as a fairly badass character as well but they went and threw it all away. It should have been Tyreese in that role since he's been completely useless this season. It actually would have fit with everything else he has done.

Is that a scar down the middle of her back or some sort of tan line?

Pegula tried to use Beaver stadium (penn state)

They also get more money by having it in an NFL stadium. The tickets were free right? But there's still the concession money and any other money generated during a game. -
How long will it be until we see the completely unrelated story of bandits in Guinea stealing a crate of balloons?

Bart and Lisa Simpson used to say it all the time.

He posted the same obscenity filled rant in just about every thread on the front page. Yeah, he's not coming back. PPP? -

I've always hated the "I'll never post here again" posts/threads we get from time to time. I didn't think the bar could be set any lower with those, but I was wrong. -

It's still in a few threads if you really want to see what he wrote. They're purging it quickly though, so you need to move fast. -

Thanks. I was trying to find where that button moved to. I seem to remember it being far more obvious at one point. -
Is it really necessary to block Bleacher Report still?
shrader replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You should change this site so that we can only read one post per page. Just think of the drama of waiting to see what that next post is, only to find out that it is DC Tom calling someone an idiot.
