  1. I know where Union is. What I can't find is a player on that gold medal team who played there.
  2. If the Sabres somehow go .500 the rest of the season, Arizona going just 8-16 the rest of the way would still finish ahead of Buffalo. That record is well below their pace for the season. The Coyotes are not going to fall below Buffalo.
  3. Here's what I hope for it to be. Pittsburgh taking Malkin at #2 in 2004 and Crosby #1 in 2005. Reinhart isn't a Malkin-type of player, but in terms of a team solidifying itself at center in back-to-back drafts, that is the gold standard. We've had so little talent up the middle of the ice for years now and all of a sudden the rest of the league is going to be very envious, even if we wind up picking second this year.
  4. He could have been up this year but they returned him to juniors. But to answer what I think you're really wondering here, last year's draft was much weaker than this year. Think about it this way. This year's draft is Andrew luck going first overall. Last year's was like EJ being the top available QB. That example is a bit extreme, but Reinhart is nowhere near the level of prospect as McEichel or McDavid.
  5. The American sensation sentence is just plain odd, it makes very little sense. Most Sabre fans are hoping for an immediate impact in year one from whoever they draft. The only thing to fear is having to wait one extra year for it. That's not happening though. I can assure you that there is not a single person in that BU athletic department or any of their season ticket holders who believe for even one second that Eichel will be there next year.
  6. What is there to clear up? Rizo, an employee of the BU hockey program makes a quick comment which heavily implies that he knows Eichel is gone, and that is all that people focus on in the entire write up? Sure, Bucky is fear mongering, but really, is Rizo going to say anything other than what he did? He serves the interests of the BU athletic department. He knows Eichel is gone, but can't actually say it.
  7. He's a BU employee, so of course he wants Eichel to stay.
  8. Rick's beard is pretty damn incredible at this point
  9. The post-storm walkers was a pretty cool visual
  10. Do they provide that housing to you or do you have to pay for it in some form, like a deduction from your paycheck? You may want to see if they have any restrictions on bringing the girlfriend, like if they're going to make you pay a little extra to have the second person there.
  11. The Sabres get to choose which pick they give to Winnipeg. So in other words, Winnipeg will get the worst of our 1st round picks. There's a simply wording that shouldn't confuse anyone.
  12. Blasphemy! Only one team can come out better from a trade. Everyone knows that.
  13. Those are the people who get killed off over and over on this show. That was pretty much the whole point of the episode, especially the comments from the Detroit Tigers hat guy. The moral compass of the group always dies on this show. Dale, Herschel, and now Tyreese. If the priest wasn't still so new to the group, he'd be next.
  14. I wasn't too crazy about the episode, but that may just be because it was a long weekend. It did start to get good right at the end though. I look forward to tonight's follow up because before even seeing Tuco in the previews, I was already interested.
  15. I'm glad he's gone. The character has outlived its usefulness and he was deadweight this entire season. It's also fitting that it wound up being a teenage walker that got him. A crappy death for a crappy character. I'm not entirely sure who else is deadweight at this point, but that person better watch out. They've been trimming the fat this entire season with Bob, Beth, and Tyreese. I'd say Tara next, but people seem to like the eye candy. And the British voice on the radio, that was Andrew Lincoln (Rick), wasn't it?
  16. Trust every test known to man. Analytics, standings, the eyeball test... they all point to the same exact answer.
  17. When I'm at a movie, I always refer to the ridiculously oversized drinks as either diabetes in a cup or cancer in a cup.
  18. Have they given a time frame for when all of this is happening? Hopefully it's enough time so that there are plenty of struggles before he becomes Saul Goodman.
  19. It does feel somewhat similar to Frasier. You've got a supporting character who wasn't there when the show started but became a big part of it. He's coming from a completely different background so it could potentially go a completely different way than the original series. The prequel setup is the big trap though. They're handcuffed a bit on where they can take him. I'll gladly admit though that this is just me blindly searching for reason to feel pumped for this show.
  20. I hope it delivers. I can't remember ever having a show that I have so much hope for, but at the same time, worry about it flopping. There's no middle ground here, this show is either going to boom or bust.
  21. Watch how few 2015 1st round draft picks get traded at the deadline this year. That'll show you just how much McDavid means. Bubble teams will hold on to that 2% chance of landing him instead of making that last second push.
  22. Goonies reunion. Make it happen! edit: Chloe as Sloth?
