  1. The league would come down hard on a team if they actually did something like that. It's too blatant to let go.
  2. Speaking of Daryl, I feel like he may be dying soon. He doesn't fit in at all in the community setting. He is meant to be outside surviving. Maybe being the recruiter gets him closer to that, but I just don't see it. I think we may finally be approaching that one death that will truly rattle the fanbase.
  3. Edmonton is mounting a late charge at this thing, having lost 6 in a row. It's amazing how these teams seem to rotate losing streaks. I'd say our turn is next, but we're already in a streak of our own.
  4. I'll keep the response spoiler-free. I think the stuff they're hinting at from the comics won't happen until season 6. There's not enough time left in this season to get there.
  5. Is he practice squad eligible? I skimmed the thread quickly, so I didn't see if this has been stated or not.
  6. What's the point of even printing a report like this one? The 5th pick is what, about 5 hours into the draft? There's way too much that can happen ahead of that pick. I realize that it's all just a smokescreen, but does a diversion mean anything when you know it's a diversion?
  7. I can't help but think that someone like Colorado somehow wins the lottery, a team that already has their young superstar (even if he's had a rough year).
  8. I don't think there were this many trades in the last 10 years combined. Things have certainly changed in the NFL.
  9. Does anyone out there actually have one of these smart watches that any company has put out so far? I have a hard time seeing any way that these things are useful.
  10. That's an interesting order. My brother just started watching these with his son last week. I know he started with Star Wars (that's the name I stick with, it annoys me that they have renamed it). I doubt he'll get into the prequels because his son might be a bit young for the burning alive in the volcano part of 6, but I might suggest that order to him.
  11. But it completely ruins the reveal in Empire.
  12. The A is very clearly for Alexandria, like Gary said... that and they're probably having some fun foreshadowing the future adultery
  13. Thanks for that. I don't bother with watching Talking Dead. It figures that the guy who is one of the most important in the town is one who won't be around too long.
  14. A random thought came to mind yesterday. I hope the Sabres can pull off a big surprise when they pick McDavid first overall. I'd love to see our fans' reactions if they handed him one of the original Sabre jerseys. If it has to be Eichel, then so be it, but if they could pull off a uniform change like that without it leaking, it sure would be sweet.
  15. The second video has a great angle of how she got hit. Wow, it looked brutal.
  16. Two thoughts on the episode: 1. Given everything that happened with Shane and Lori, it's annoying that they're now hinting at Rick stealing another guy's wife. 2. The spinoff needs to be the Carol show. She has officially become the best character on this show.
  17. I know Arizona's been really bad, but until Edmonton passes them in the standings, I still consider the Oilers as our biggest threat. Their goaltending is in the same range of crappiness as ours and they're still missing their best player in Hall. They've essentially been keeping the same pace as us in recent games. People continue to overlook them in this race, but they are still very much alive.
  18. "Congrats to Gabby Schilling who will pitch for the Salve Regina Seahawks next year!!" How exactly is this exposing her? That's about as tame as it gets. Is it because he named her? Let's face it, these trolls were going to find something regardless of what Schilling decided to post. I'm sure these weren't the first shots they had taken at Schilling on twitter.
  19. I thought the only potential it had at this point was more storylines in the future. That way, you at least have no idea how it ends because no one is guaranteed to survive anymore. That's a big part of why the new Star Wars will have so much more potential than the prequels did. Forget for a second all of the crappy writing and the long list of other issues, I always felt that those movies were doomed from the start because we knew exactly how it had to end, Luke and Leia are born, mommy and all the Jedi die.
  20. I have a hard time picturing anyone making it from Richmond to Alexandria unnoticed unless it's a very small group. Rick and co. were watched the most of the way so anyone else would be too. We'll see how they explain that one away if in fact the people who destroyed that community do wind up showing up, but I can see it not making much sense.
  21. The impression I got from reading the story is that this coach has a history of not knowing the rules (or not caring). Sow now that she's out but the team is still allowed to play, it seems like the appropriate response.
  22. I forget the specifics, but was Nolan brought in with the interim tag last year? Anyway, as for why would Murray keep Nolan for this season, there was no point in subjecting a serious coaching candidate to what they all knew this season would be. You let that guy sit and wait so that he doesn't feel the misery of a season like this one.
  23. Not as discouraging and disheartening for him as his pink slip will be.
  24. Here is my biggest head scratcher from the episode. Noah has a bum leg. Why on earth was he selected to be someone that would go out on supply runs? Yeah, he just made the long trip from Atlanta, but I'd be finding him some other job until at least that doctor gets a chance to check him out.
  25. If Chad Johnson is in fact coming to us for Neuvirth, he better wear #85.
