  1. I'd imagine that the Lehner injury cost this team a few points too. Granted, they weren't scoring much most of the time, but he would have helped too.
  2. I think it was Sam's death that hit her even more than that. The whole thing still doesn't add up to me though. The red head clearly wanted them dead and Carol from about 2 weeks ago would know that. And yes, she's so dead. The writing on the wall could not be any more clear.
  3. It has to be something massive to establish Negan given how much of their group Rick has massacred with ease so far. Hell, if they really want shock value, have it be Rick himself. I know it won't happen, but that's just about the only death that would establish him legitimately as in charge. The only other one I'd consider is if he knows Maggie is pregnant and kills her anyway.
  4. I hate where they're going with Carol now. I can understand doubting some things, but there's no way that the badass that she has become would have ever let the Savior woman get in any punches while Carol had the gun on her. She was so quick with the head shot to the other one (yeah, attempted stab to the stomach, I get it), yet she's hesitant with the main one? This is the same woman who was very quick to kill her own people if she believed it would help the group. It just doesn't add up. Hell, she's already fought off an army of cannibals, that woman would not hesitate to kill someone who had been holding her hostage all day. edit: And the Negan reveal is going to have to be huge after all of this. If they want to play him off as brutal, he's going to have to Lucille 3 or 4 people at least because Rick's group is pretty damn brutal themselves.
  5. I'd bring him back on a vet minimum contract. I wonder if anyone will put much thought into him at this point.
  6. This is where 4mer chimes in to talk about Aaron still wanting to make pancakes with Maggie.
  7. And it goes way beyond throwaway lines too, like bringing back the stock broker a few weeks back. I would have never remembered Walt blowing up his car if it wasn't mentioned here.
  8. You probably have seen Gregory before. He's been in a lot of big stuff. 24 is first that comes to mind. The most recent high profile movie is probably Taken.
  9. I don't know how you walk away after that third period last night and not feel optimistic. Yes they still have trouble scoring, but we've got a significant number of AHL guys out there right now. We can see how quickly some of these kids are growing up. They just need to add a couple complementary pieces (including the injured O'Reilly and Ennis) and this thing could quickly be headed in the right direction.
  10. It's definitely wrong for Carl. He killed the kid outside the prison and he also put down his mother. Edit: Oh wait, it says "on screen only". So they can go with one hell of a technicality on Lori's death.
  11. The rocket launcher is self-defense though. And Carl did shoot some kid during an attack on the prison.
  12. I was a little confused by the whole "I've never killed anyone before" thing from Glenn. Did he seriously not kill anyone during the escape from Terminus or any firefight with the Governor? If it was specifically a cold blooded murder thing, has anyone other than Carol or Rick done that?
  13. And it will never be clearcut anymore. Any attack from Negan's group is a response to this raid. Yeah they're brutal (those pictures of Lucile's dirty work), but they may not have gone after Rick's group if they had met under different circumstances.
  14. I know who secretly planted the explosives in the building.
  15. He needs to work on his lines a little bit, but give him some time and I bet he turns into Samuel Jackson in Pulp Fiction. It's amazing how quickly this show can redeem/ruin a character if they really want to. They've finally made Gabriel interesting, but at the same time, they're kind of ruining Carol. She was the original amazing character reinvention. I'm guessing she and Abe aren't long for this world though. It seems like when they start destroying a character, they're dead shortly after (Tyreese).
  16. Did anything ever happen with the whole match fixing scandal that broke out last year? I'd imagine tennis would be far more concerned about that.
  17. It's nice to know that they won. I've hit the point where I turn a game off once OT ends. The shoot outs ruin everything for me. 3-on-3 is a blast, but then it hits a wall with an absolutely horrible, slow ending. Reinhart still needs 2 more. But to expand on this one a bit, just take a look at the top 5 in scoring on this team. 25, 19, 21, 20, and 24 years old. The numbers aren't so great, but there's a lot of growth to be had among that group. Now if a secondary guy like Girgensons could get back to where he should be (if he sticks around), there's a world of potential there.
  18. The utility manpurse does seem more useful than the belt.
  19. For me, it all comes down to Bill Murray. I don't think anyone can come anywhere close to what Venkman was to the original. Hell, the cast as a whole is impossible to measure up to. They would have been better off somehow twisting it to an original title instead.
  20. It's from 2009, but the first paragraph in this statement from the NHL is pretty telling.
  21. I don't see why it matters how it is scored. Ultimately, these kids' scores will be judged relative to others who took the same test, graded the same way. They're not going to compare a new 1400 to your 1400 20 years ago.
  22. He needs to be careful with some of that McGinn stuff though. Saying that they have interest in him moving forward could be interpreted as tampering. I know he has this "I don't care" aura around him, but he will care if they start taking picks away.
  23. Is that the nerdy guy supplying the drugs? He was my initial thought. That guy's definitely going to cause them trouble at some point.
