That play by Legwand last night to setup the Foligno shorty was a thing of beauty. I think it'll get overlooked most of the time, but he just earned an extra hundred thousand on that veteran minimum salary in my book.

The last song I heard on the radio this morning was Layla by Derek and the Dominoes. So needless to say, I'm going to be wanting to watch Goodfellas all day.It made me realize that for me personally, there is no other song that drives me to a movie quicker than this one. Obviously something like the Ghostbusters theme would have the same effect, but that's not something you're going to hear on the radio. So what other songs do this for you? There are a couple I'm expecting to see mentioned.

This is kind of OT, but I was just looking through the cast of Batman v Superman and I noticed that Negan is playing Thomas Wayne and Maggie is playing Martha Wayne. Let the crayonz rumors begin.

So did future Basiago tell present day Basiago that this was the year or do we still have to wait 4+ years for this destined presidency? I just hope the Sasquatches can hold out until we get there. And on that note, since their DNA is half human, I sense a potential running mate. Trump will have a ball stirring up that citizenship controversy.

Oh great, now I have to catch up on both this and House of Cards. I don't have enough time for all of it! And interesting trailer. They've been all about Frank Castle up until this point, but this one really down played him.

I'll go ahead and label this as spoilers just in case anyone cares. It's pure speculation, but what the hell... I almost wonder if she could actually stick around and go the "comic Michonne" route since she's now morphed with Andrea. And speaking of that, if we're comparing people with others in the comics, Sasha's time will be limited.

I just wonder what Johnson thinks he is in this league right now. If he thinks he can be a starter, he'll probably sign somewhere else. Even if he is content sticking around in an obvious backup situation, there may not be much shelf life for him in that role either. I'd imagine he'd only get a one year deal in that role here. Is he happy with that? Of course, this completely ignores the other question of whether or not the team wants that.

Well there was that story that Charles Wang wanted to tryout sumo wrestlers in net when he first bought the Islanders. I probably shouldn't throw this out there though in fear of feeding the beast.

They seemed to be going out of their way last week to point out that Heath and Tara were going out on a run together right after the raid on the Saviors. That and her whole talk with Gabriel and Jesus about being in love with Denise, it all puts Tara right at the top of the death watch for me.

I'd imagine that the Lehner injury cost this team a few points too. Granted, they weren't scoring much most of the time, but he would have helped too.

I think it was Sam's death that hit her even more than that. The whole thing still doesn't add up to me though. The red head clearly wanted them dead and Carol from about 2 weeks ago would know that. And yes, she's so dead. The writing on the wall could not be any more clear.

It has to be something massive to establish Negan given how much of their group Rick has massacred with ease so far. Hell, if they really want shock value, have it be Rick himself. I know it won't happen, but that's just about the only death that would establish him legitimately as in charge. The only other one I'd consider is if he knows Maggie is pregnant and kills her anyway.

I hate where they're going with Carol now. I can understand doubting some things, but there's no way that the badass that she has become would have ever let the Savior woman get in any punches while Carol had the gun on her. She was so quick with the head shot to the other one (yeah, attempted stab to the stomach, I get it), yet she's hesitant with the main one? This is the same woman who was very quick to kill her own people if she believed it would help the group. It just doesn't add up. Hell, she's already fought off an army of cannibals, that woman would not hesitate to kill someone who had been holding her hostage all day. edit: And the Negan reveal is going to have to be huge after all of this. If they want to play him off as brutal, he's going to have to Lucille 3 or 4 people at least because Rick's group is pretty damn brutal themselves.

I'd bring him back on a vet minimum contract. I wonder if anyone will put much thought into him at this point.

This is where 4mer chimes in to talk about Aaron still wanting to make pancakes with Maggie.

And it goes way beyond throwaway lines too, like bringing back the stock broker a few weeks back. I would have never remembered Walt blowing up his car if it wasn't mentioned here.

You probably have seen Gregory before. He's been in a lot of big stuff. 24 is first that comes to mind. The most recent high profile movie is probably Taken.

I don't know how you walk away after that third period last night and not feel optimistic. Yes they still have trouble scoring, but we've got a significant number of AHL guys out there right now. We can see how quickly some of these kids are growing up. They just need to add a couple complementary pieces (including the injured O'Reilly and Ennis) and this thing could quickly be headed in the right direction.

It's definitely wrong for Carl. He killed the kid outside the prison and he also put down his mother. Edit: Oh wait, it says "on screen only". So they can go with one hell of a technicality on Lori's death.

The rocket launcher is self-defense though. And Carl did shoot some kid during an attack on the prison.
