  1. I always hear people talking about the director's cut of Kingdom of Heaven, which makes it a really good movie. I don't know if that one makes it a longer movie or just modifies stuff, but it's definitely one I hear a lot.
  2. There is nothing more valuable than this string of come from behind wins. That's the kind of thing that is going to make these kids believe in themselves. They're already dangerous, but that "we're not done yet" mentality would make them so much more so. I know a lot of things played a role in it, but this team is on the verge of doing something that will mean a lot in terms of rebounding from the last couple seasons. They're close to catching last year's division champs in the standings. Yes, everything went wrong there, but to me that would be a huge sign of how quickly this can be turned around.
  3. At this point, I'm convinced that Daryl will be sticking around for a while. They've quickly built up a big rivalry between him and Dwight. That needs to be allowed to play out for a while. We can get two main sources of tension for a while, Rick-Negan and Daryl-Dwight. As for who gets killed, I'll still say that it need to be more than one person to have any lasting impact. The only one I'd be willing to listen to is if it does wind up being Maggie instead. He picks Glenn, but she runs out to stop him. She says something about being pregnant with his baby, then Negan pauses, and Lucille's her in the face. That right there would get your shock value and establish him as an evil bastard. Oh, and after last night, I really hope that hallucination Merle comes back next week. I can picture him calling Daryl a dumbass for letting Dwight catch him off guard four times now. Am I somehow merging him with Red Foreman when I imagine him calling Daryl a dumbass or was that actually something he'd say?
  4. What's wrong with that guy's eye, right behind the glass?
  5. Only time will tell, but I do think Compher is going to turn out to be a very good player. Our fans have been gushing over Fasching a bit excessively, but lost in all of that is how Compher's season was far better. Granted, he's playing for a better team and a hell of a set of linemates, but he's definitely looking like a great asset right now for Colorado. But with that said, if he's the only part of those trades I look back on and wish we still had in the organization, I'm going to make that trade in hindsight just about every time.
  6. I just wish Larsson had hit the 20 goal mark. Since everything he scores is a game winner, that would make us a playoff team... hell, it would win us the division. edit: And did anyone else have the honor of being right near the Carolina fan who was walking out of the arena backwards, screaming "**** you", and flipping off all the Sabre fans?
  7. Odd, it works for me. I'm on a different computer now and when I click it brings the picture up right away. Oh well, only my brother could produce a son who looks like an 80 year old.
  8. https://mobile.twitter.com/BuffaloSabres/status/712413931336290304 Apparently the Sabres put a picture of my nephew on their Twitter today. I'm making that same face at him while my wife took the picture.
  9. I'm there. I don't know where I'm sitting yet though because my brother bought them. He said something like 13 rows up. Ruhwedel?
  10. I figured it was the Red October
  11. That's where I am right now too. It was a bit of a let down given what happened in the previous episodes.
  12. It'll be nice to actually see a game in person tonight. I don't think I've been at a rink in over a year.
  13. My guess is that they find a working Netflix account somewhere.
  14. Negan has to hit back in a huge way, so yeah, just a single killing would be nothing. We've seen what, at least 30 Saviors killed so far vs. one death from Alexandria? At this point, the only single death that would shock their world would be Rick and we all know that isn't happening. They're probably banking on the huge fan support for Daryl, but that won't be enough. All I know is that I'm glad Abe has been given a reprieve. This world needs more Abraham-isms.
  15. All it takes is one pissed off kid to foul someone extra hard and running up the score like that could blow up in your face quickly. Now maybe the other school has a reputation or the type of kids that wouldn't do something like that, but it's definitely a risk to keep agitating them like that. All it takes is one.
  16. That looked like a scene from Cloverfield. To be fair to the person with the camera, I don't think s/he was following with the intention of filming more. I think s/he just held onto the phone while rushing to hopefully help. That phone wasn't being aimed at anything after the fireball. But anyway, flaming shots are dumb enough as is, but that one was even more idiotic. Why would you setup something that big? Those drinks were just begging to be knocked over, and then you've got a huge problem on your hands.
  17. I have in the past been stupid and read some spoilers. I'm so glad I didn't for last night's episode. I had a feeling she was a goner the second she left town, especially once her stupid speech kicked in... but not like that. Major props to the writers for doing this at the same time that Abe and Eugene are out on a run together. They messed with so many people's heads last night. I guess I was onto something a couple weeks back with the Tara "confession", but they took it in a completely different direction than I expected. But then again, maybe she dies next. I wonder how bad that wound is now that they don't have a doctor to treat Eugene. A trip to the Hilltop should be coming up soon. Edit: And one question I forgot to mention. Did Dwight really know where Alexandria was or was he just bluffing?
  18. Forget the show, this Cookie Monster commercial rules Ok, that was probably more painful
  19. Well that looked painful.
  20. I just finished the third episode. That stairwell fight...
  21. I had an uncle who looked just like the guy hanging in the freezer, which I think is a big part of why it jumps to mind so quickly... That and it being an awesome movie
  22. All Lebatard does is yell (I was going to keep up with the CAPS, but I decided to spare everyone)
  23. I've had a drive of over 20 miles to Costco for the past year. A new one just opened less than 10 miles from me yesterday. Thank god for that.
  24. I FEEL THE NEED TO YELL ABOUT SOMETHING I THIS THREAD.
  25. Speaking of Tom Cruise movies, I wonder if anyone drives people to movies more than Kenny Loggins. I'm pretty sure it's a scientific fact that he created every single movie soundtrack.
