The funny thing about Detroit is that the only reason their streak is still alive is because they got bumped to the east.

Carl in the armory with the gun

I get the feeling that Gus won't be a Buffalo sports name for much longer.

And speaking of that other group:

Well if it's any consolation to you, whichever team gets in will get steamrolled by the Craps. Actually though, part of me wants to see both get in. The Detroit streak needs to end. I just don't see the continuity from that team stacked with HoFers, even with Datsyuk and Zetterberg there.

We can't let those Marlies think they have a chance of beating us in the future. They need to know their role very early in their careers.

March Movies: Batman V. Superman, 10 Cloverfield Lane...

His look definitely wasn't what I was expecting. I'll throw spoilers on this one for people who haven't seen it yet: -
There are three games left. The losses would mean next to nothing at this point. They cannot drop any further in the standings than they are right now. They're tied with Arizona, one point behind Montreal, and 4 behind Ottawa. Those are the only positions in play at this point (ok, if I'm including Ottawa, I should also include the longshot possibility of Calgary making up their 5 point gap). So really at this point, a couple wins probably bumps them up one slot in the draft.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a break down yet based on where everyone was lined up and which way Negan approached from before he swung. I figured that would happen within seconds. Anyway, it's absolutely hilarious that Aaron was even there. They've got every single pre-Terminus person there (minus Carol), and then Aaron. The whole world knows he's not the dead one, that would be the ultimate cop out. As for it being Glenn, that would make the cliff hanger that much worse. Most are expecting him, so if you were going to go that route, just show it and be done. Some may call all of the stuff they've done foreshadowing, other could just call it messing with the comic readers' heads. That was Carl with the carved gun, wasn't it? I'm pretty sure that was the same gun that Negan took back from him during the lineup.

Just with the style of the fighting anyway, far more brutal than anything before. He's out there to hurt people. As for introducing characters, they'll do that in some way with the non-big 2. Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, and Cyborg will get an introduction of some sort. -

I get the complaints. It's not for everyone. I personally had no problem with it. My main thought walking out though was that I can't wait for the solo batman movie. That ass kicking was right out of the Arkham video games. It's going to be a very different version of the character than we've ever seen on the big screen. -
Lame lame lame lame lame. The whole thing was awesome but then they had to do that. Edit: If I'm Negan, I'm killing Abe. Dude never flinched during the whole thing. I want that guy out of the picture. The whole "taking it like a champ" thing would fit him perfectly.

How many of you have actually seen the movie? This whole thing is bordering on obsession. -
If only I had included a link that explained the whole thing...

Meesa really wants to see this.

I hate that sites put out stuff like this each year. But if it was actually done on the Bills official website, that takes it to another level all together.

Back when their were only 2 Canadian teams, Montreal and Toronto. The story on how Montreal lost out on a tie breaker for the last playoff story is pretty interesting. I just found it on wikipedia. I know how people love that site, but I'll trust the info.

It might not mean anything at all though. Poturalski from UNH had been a participant at our camps previously (most likely because he's a local kid). He was near the top of the scoring list this year and wound up signing with Carolina.

A Buffalonian's observations on his move to Texas

I've been in the Raleigh area of NC for just about 2 years now. I don't know if it's big around here or it's just purely random, but there are at least 6 different mexican places all within a 10 minute drive from my house... that I know of. My wife is big on frozen drinks, so up to this point, that is really the only thing we've graded the places on. The main piece of culture shock is the number of fast food joints. Everyone here should be over 300 pounds because those places are everywhere, with people walking away with their 1 gallon jugs of sweet tea. Oh, and I was in Boston for the last 14 years, so I can't really compare this to Buffalo. Too much changed already over that time in the Boston/Hamburg area I grew up in. -
Absolutely. Nothing major wound up happening, but that's the exact type of play that cannot happen in hockey. He needs to be hit hard for it. He's already got a suspension history, so they may be able to hit him a little harder. I don't remember it specifically, but apparently he was already suspended in the past for a stick swing to Jeff Carter's face in the playoffs. He could be in serious trouble given that.

Do they look at how past films released on Easter weekend have performed? I'd imagine you'd see similar drops over the years. -
For those of you who do know a bit more about the characters, who would be candidate villain/villains for the Defenders?
-
I like what they have going here. Each show has that much grittier feel to it, but so far, they're each very different. A Punisher show would definitely be able to feel unique when compared to Jessica Jones and Daredevil. I'm not all that familiar with the Luke Cage character, but I wonder how different that show will feel from Jones given that it is directly spun off of it and they're both characters with similar super powers.. Yes, you could say that about Punisher showing up in Daredevil first, but he's definitely a very different character. And I'm not trying to crap on the Luke Cage show before it starts. I just don't know a thing about him. I know it will be on my list of shows though because they've done so well with their Netflix shows right now.

I'd need to see some shift charts, but our guys had been out there for probably about two minutes at that point. They were gassed too. Let's face it, they're not going to go to a second line at that point, especially with Kane already out.
