  1. Is there any tv that doesn't have at least some form of the "smart" stuff now? I've been shopping around for a 60 inch lately and I don't remember seeing a single one without it. I'll be hooked up to a PS4, so I don't really care about all those bells and whistles.
  2. At least the Sabres were a local team for that game. For this one, I'm amazed they didn't wind up with any of Chicago/Detroit/Minnesota.
  3. I didn't catch much of it, but did they ever explain why they chose these two teams for that game?
  4. So can my neighborhood still have our hurricane drinking party this weekend?
  5. What the deal with all these hurricanes reaching the northeast coast in recent years? It seems like there's been 1 a year for 4 or 5 years in a row now.
  6. I enjoyed those last two hours. Travis snapping was long overdue. This awakened Travis should be a much better character moving forward. This show has a weird way of breaking off the most interesting character from the group though. First it was killing off Daniel and now they have Strand off on his own. He can't last long at the hotel with them hating him and also their doctor gone. Where the hell was Ophelia going anyway? I assumed she wanted to find and put down her father, but instead she's near the border. Maybe it's just the truck breaking down that ruined her plan, but the whole thing isn't very clear right now. I do find it funny though that even with the zombie apocalypse, the vigilante border patrol agents have decided to take it to a whole new level.
  7. The biggest villain in the walking dead so far... Texans
  8. Don't get your hopes up. It doesn't seem like he'll be in the movie much. He'll probably get the same treatment as the emperor in the empire strikes back.
  9. Which is funny because every time I've seen someone type "K Williams" or "KW" in this thread, I've read it as Kyle Williams.
  10. Travis kills Chris, then kills himself. For whatever reason, up until this week, I was expecting them both to die. I'll spoiler tag it just in case people don't watch the trailers for the upcoming season: Edit: And I could see Travis putting him down after he threatens Madison or the girl again.
  11. I watched it last night. I don't know how they're going to get there, but at some point Travis will have to put Chris down. This whole story has to be headed in that direction. The only other option I'll consider is that Chris somehow winds up killing Travis. My guess is he's holed up somewhere while the other two are scouting the hotel. And speaking of Chris, he's got a minor role in Agents of Shield right now, so that may be biasing my thought that he'll be killed shortly. It's kind of like Heath in the main show, except that role is much bigger than the one for the actor who plays Chris.
  12. It's hard to believe that one day after he died, he's the second most talked about death in the sports world. It hasn't been a good couple months for the legends, first Gordie Howe and now Palmer.
  13. My brother is in town with his family for the weekend for a wedding. They went to camp today and I'm getting text after text with pictures of my 6 year old nephew with random players. It sounds like the team is very welcoming to the fans for all of this.
  14. As bad as that kid was, the actress who plays Daniel's daughter (why do I always forget her name) was hilarious in a crazy as hell kind of way.
  15. Well at least they're going to be bringing everyone back together. I think I said it earlier, but the characters on this show aren't developed enough to have them split up in four different places. Well, three of the four storylines seem to be ready to come back together anyway. What's her face will probably be killed off while she goes to find her father. There doesn't seem to be any obvious way of bringing that story back in with the main one. On another note, I don't usually watch much of it, especially with Fear, but I stuck around for a bit more of Talking Dead last night. That kid they had on was so incredibly stupid. Where the hell do they find these people. When finding people for a one hour discussion show, you probably should find someone who can string together a complete sentence.
  16. I can't blame one side more than the other. Ignoring the kneel down at the end of the half, the defense forced one fumble and two punts. Other than that, every single drive produced points. Time of possession is going to impact that a bit, but that is a very consistent lack of results from the D drive after drive.
  17. Too bad that one cut off before the part where they were trying to figure out how to make it happen
  18. I was speaking specifically of the Marvel shows since there's a ton of continuity between the production teams. How is it with a lot of these other shows, is there a lot of overlap in terms of production or are most made by completely different people?
  19. There's a Bills fan joke in there somewhere.
  20. I was struggling at the start of the episode and I knew I wasn't going to make it through. I closed my eyes during a commercial break and the next thing I knew, the Daily Show was on. The episode seemed fine from what I remember, I just had no gas in the tank last night. Thank god for the DVR. I'll be curious to see what the one random thing that recurs throughout the whole season is (ie. Randy is Lord).
  21. Weren't the Raiders in dead last in these rankings in recent years? What brought on their spike, just the possibility of relocation?
  22. Ummm, spoiler? If they're actually doing that, it seems like a very long time to wait until suddenly mentioning them again. When would that even air, late winter/early spring?
  23. If they've been stuck in there the whole time, they may not know that any dead person will turn. So they may think they had a chance to save her before she died. That's who she is! I was trying to figure out why she looked familiar.
  24. I just watched it last night and I agree with all of you. That was a much better episode, the first good one of this season. I still don't care much about any of the colonia stuff, but there's a lot of potential at the hotel. It should be interesting when the mother of the bride snaps.
