  1. I'll second the motion......
  2. The Bills do have responsibility for their actions, yet when your DE darned near gets horse collared aon a key third down play, when the whole world (even old Dan Dierdorf himself) see it except the guy (ref) who is paid to watch for stuff like that. Yeah, I do believe in unwritten practices and marginal teams will never get the calls.
  3. Careful, he might revert to the JP saga next....
  4. JayBaller, you've managed to create an argument when there wasn't one. No one anointed Trent God. The point was Trent wasn't given to time to even back peddle, just as Fitz was given none for a number of series as well. That, Mr. fabricator, was a fact and it remains that our O-line made Banta-Boo-Boo look like the second coming of Bruce Smith. Calling others an apologist merely shouts out that you have written a check your ass can't cash. You haven't the logic or knowledge to hold a legitimate discussion.
  5. He can be judged for poor clock management, which has has been guilty of in multiple games, and his refusal to play Maybin, Harris, etc., as if he believes that a few wins and he has a legitimate shot at the HC job next year. He is knee deep in responsibility for our Tampa 2, no run defense "defense". This team needs a real HC, who can manage a game, the clock, and get players to play with discipline. Enough already with the false start penalties, for example the next guy who gets flagged for a false start will be summarily shot......
  6. Fitz got replaced (for a series only as it turned out) because he simply wasn't making a single play of his own. Save for the opening drive, of which was on the ground, our offense was literally quite offensive. His best plays and throws were after he had his ankle tweeked (hummm....maybe we're on the something here).
  7. Maybe but maybe not. Ever hear of Tim Donaghy? Ever hear what he had to say during a 60 Minute interview? .....just saying.... And food for thought, the entire stadium and national TV audience, and TV announcers saw a flagrant hold on Schobel, but the laundry didn't appear on that one (a key play at the time as well). That was one of the more grossly obvious missed (or ignored) calls I've see in a while, while Incognito get flagged for blocking in the back when all he did was push someone's arm. Conspiracy? Maybe, maybe not, but lower ranking teams simply don't get the calls and it's excruciatingly tiresome to watch the Pats get call after call after call.
  8. Just say "no" to Perry for HC....... At this point, Maybin should get some PT along with Hardy, if not for anything else but to measure their game play and get them some experience. I'm sorry, play to win as always, but let's get them into the game for crying out loud.
  9. McKelvin only plays the coverages the coaches call. Jeez........... Blame the coaches for soft coverage. As for the fumbles on the KO against the Pats, no one grumbled last year when he was on fire returning KO's.
  10. From his first game as a Bill, seems the bio on him was dead accurate.
  11. I agree... Say what you want, but before he got his bell rung against the Cards, he had 2-3 games early in 2008 where he played well bring the Bills back from behind to win. Since then, he's not been a shadow of himself (or what he displayed early last year).
  12. Actually, as Brohm has been playing the game since he was single digits old, and that since he played in a more NFL style offense in college, he should have enough background in studying playbooks to have a shot at playing a few games this year for the Bills, if not for any reason but to see what they've got. While some QB's take longer than others to get the feel for the NFL game and speed, let's not make out the playbook to being on par with quantum physics for crying out loud.
  13. Been a Bills fan since, well, going on my 5th decade, and I've seen some pretty bad ones, and this one is in the to 3, for sure.........
  14. Darren, I would bet he only meant that Shanahan was fortunate to have some great players and the Broncos success had much less to do with Shanahan himself.
  15. Not Carl Peterson, not now, not ever........ He's little more than a Donohoe clone......
  16. Whatever the reasonb, the last comments I made in the chat room Sunday was that Jauron and TO should walk home after that 4th quarter collapse. Well, I got 50% of my wish..... Next to go, TO
  17. Every time someone posts a link to a Bills Video, I end up watch 3 or 4 videos. TT was a great back his first 5 years in he NFL. Just awesome, but what really caught my eye was Andre Reed and all the YAC he rang up. Possibly one of the best run after the catch receivers in the modern era. Kelly, a gunslinger in his early days. Bfore the game took it's toll on him, what an arm (and accurate). What a run....damn....what a run.
  18. Exactly, and we passed on....... damn, never mind. Whitner hasn't earned the right to say anything at this point.
  19. Our run defense against Johnson? Jeez.....bad things man, bad things...
  20. ....hummmm..... That's Lucy Pinder of British fame (page 3, etc). She is not Tebow's girlfriend. Nice try.....poor, but nice....
  21. The Bills may not want to but they have.....D O C K E R Y... He was average, but way over-paid. The Bills aren't likely to do this again any time soon though.
  22. Marv Levy, who are your best rookies? Marv, "last year's".......
  23. Well, then you obviously missed the 1968 (a season in which the Bills went to WR Rutkowski to play QB) version of the Bills, half the 1970's, the 1985 version, and the 2001 version. Nope, as bad as this team may be, we've had worse.....
