Maybe. It's not that I didn't like what we saw of Gore in the Preseason but he's not a bull in a china shop either. Davis was supposed to be that guy and when given the start, he played very well last year against the Jets, and did well generally when thrown too. Much of what we are seeing is that he gets his carries often when defenses are playing the run as opposed to Cook who plays when the whole play book is available. Davis may never be a star and we may need a better # 2 RB. Of note, how is Ty Johnson doing this year?

If Gore was a bit bigger but he's light by NFL standards and not a burner. Sure, he has shown grit and some skill in the Preseason but his size is what holds him back. Davis has 30 (approx) pounds on Gore...

Sure it does ..... They're crappy.....

That's the Post for you -
You're right. Coleman and crew are so much better. What was I thinking....

I may be in the minority, but I would give Shakir the wr and move Coleman to the slot... Coleman has zero separation skills. He doesn't run either, he lumbers...

LB Shaq Thompson..........what could have been......

Maybe 3 or 4, but I may be being generous. -

Williams made some plays in the 2nd half, but he still showed inconsistency. -

The first play was not Shaq's fault. He made a good play and nothing to kick himself over. Rousseau on the other hand ....... The dropped INT may well have turned the game around. This he may proceed with kicking himself in the butt for this. -
Unfortunately, only Beane ever saw Coleman as the pick over a number of other good players. Call it now, he is in a dead heat with Kelvin Benjamin as one of worst receivers who played for the Bills.w

Right now, Josh Allen, and James Cook are the only reasons we have been competitive.... Run Cook and first and send, but use far less talented backs on 3rd and 4th downs? Brady is a putz.... Love to be more colorful but...discretion...

We will never win a Super Bowl with Joe Brady

Brady is showing that he is over his head as OC. His ridiculous jet sweep (fumbled) by Moore should have been his last play call as OC...pitiful.... -

Our secondary, Mr. McD has sucked horribly this year I'd like to say I was just Tre, but Benford has looked poor to me as well. Our safeties... Safeties??? Do we even have any? Back in the day Hyde and Poyer could be counted on, not just for good play, but they came up with huge plays. They were great together .... What a fall off -

Those cute plays are really hurting the Bills. Tonight, the one thing that did work mostly was Cook runs in the second half. But cutie Brady dials up drive ending play with WR (Moore) who shouldn't even be on the team. Samuel is far more competent but made of glass.... -
I was solidly in the McConkey camp and sorely disappointed when we took Coleman. What terrible pick by Beane.

Josh was clearly pressing tonight. Truth, he didn't get much help from the wr's nor did the Bills have any answer for the Falcons blitz. -

Concur with the Drone comment, everyone else was poor. Shavers gave effort but he too doesn't separate. Miss the days of Diggs, Beasley even old John Brown ... Guys who could separate -
That is beat the heck out of us has extremely to do with the pedestal Goodell and the NFL have placed him on. I dislike Brady deeply, but it's Goodell who's nothing but a spineless ball washer (owners).

Any thoughts on Dorian Williams about to be starting again?
Spiderweb replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Physically, Dorian has it in spades, he just needs to get the cerebral part down...
