Talk about a "Joe Bag of Doughnuts".

Give the guy a break. What truely mattered were the drives. Yeah, he threw three picks, granted, but he also drove the team down the field with consistency we haven't seen in a long long time. Three of the four scores McGahee had were short runs that were set up by Drew's successful passing. McGahee, beyond the "lateral" on 4 & 1, really was not any more of a factor than to keep Seattle's defense honest (other than his ability to not waste TD opportunities when down near the goal line). This is not to take away from McGahee, but those opportunities came from Drew's arm to get us close. His passer rating was not great due to the heavy penalty those three picks impose, but the passer rating also did not take into account the drives, the 9 for 11 (approx) on third down, etc. This was a game in which the passer rating was a bit mis-leading. (that's for you Stevestojan). Over the course of a season, a QB rating is a solid measurement of a QB's performance, but from a game perspective, they don't always tell the real story or at least not the complete story. This was one of them. No more a a perfect example were some of RJ's numbers (QB rating). His were considerably higher for the most part, but we all know the outcome of that experiment.

Is that the Guinness award...?

And despite what some others here have said, Price is not a capable LT. He's simply not quick enough. He's an adequate RT backup, but I cringe when he plays the LT spot.

Ah, but they did blitz, somewhat frequently, and the telling tale on how the Bills sought to handle it was summed up with that beautifull 4 yard pass to Campbell in the red zone that he ran another 10-12 yards on to the Seahawks 2 or 3 yard line. Campbell starts his route, the LB or SS blitzed going right past him, he stops turns and Bledsoe pops him the ball. Nice........... It's already been said here but the play calling was as good as we've seen in a long time. We actually were able to counter a blitz effectively with some very solid counterpuches. The only negatives were the three picks, but Bledsoe did lead and finish more successful drives yesterday than he has in a long time, so overall he was effective.

Ok time to give out those game balls..

Aw, that's just great... Now I have to wash Pepsi off my monitor....LOL -
How dare you disagree with the one who's great in his own mind?

Sure, it's the "Frozen H20" University of mindless obnoxiousness.

Tired hell, we've been drinking all day too. Had a nice post game celebration tonight. Tomorrow we begin to focus on this weeks game at Miami. LOL

I'm not so sure JP is ready. It's also no sure thing he's got the stuff either. Physically, it's there but we seen physically talented QB's before (fairly recently) that couldn't play the position. Bledsoe looked like a NFL QB today, but I have to agree, those 3 picks were simply bad throws and bad decisions. That's something an NFL QB cannot do very often and expect to win, let alone in the fashion we did today. If and when we're mathematically eliminated, or JP PROVES he's ready, give JP a start and let's see what he can do. I liked what I saw of him this past preseason, but let's also remember, he was playing against camp fodder by the time he got into the games in which he appeared. One thing was impressive today, and that was the play of Evans who's beginning to look very good. The kid has some toughness about him along with great physical talent.

Yes, he falsely claimed he had $6K (approx, can't remember specifically), worth of stuff stolen. It was said that he could have been chg'd with a felony, but since I'm not a fan of his or OSU, I didn't follow the story very closely. I can say this, if anyone thinks this low life hasn't any serious character flaws, have I got some real estate for you.... I should add that living here in Dayton, OH, I heard more about this punk than I ever cared to hear, or ever want to hear again. He's Cowboy material anyway. Maurice and Jerry Jones would make a great pair.

God bless them both. Keep us posted. -
How true. Had Winfield made that pick (he laughed about dropping it), he had no one to stop him from scoring and we win that game. That drop was just like the numerous others he had while here. Winfield did not wish to stay a Bill, period. I also remember he had agreed in principal with the Jets and was to sign with them, and all of sudden, he went to Minny and signed his big deal there. Walked on us and used the Jets. Not impressed with the "character" shown with this. Yet, it was always about the $$$ and he did maximize his take so.... Good corner, who despite his size is outstanding in run support (text book tackler). What compensation did we get for his loss?
-
Maybe Schobel will hit the weights a bit more this off season and add 10-15 pounds of muscle. Kelsay seem to play "stronger" if that mades sense...

We have both a 36" Sony Wega (weight - forget it! 300 lbs give or take) and when the kids game room TV died after many years of solid service, I replaced it with a 27" Sony Wega (Best Buy) and paid $319.00. Of all the TV's we have (7), the 27" probably has the best overall PQ and the 36" one cost $1100.00 more. Haven't sprung for HD yet (cost), but someday.....

Nate Odoms ws an outstanding "zone" corner. Remember, he played in Walt Corey's two deep. Yet I'm not quite so sure that his man to man skills were any better. Clements is faster, and wins hands down in run support. Not that Clements is a Winfield, but Odoms run support more closely resembled that of Deon Sanders than does Clements. Overall, I'd I'd give the edge to Clements at this point, but in pure pass defense, Odoms might have the edge.

And current laws already have addressed your camcorder-DVD burner issue. What's at stake here is good old simple fair-use. -
I guess that's entertainment....

While I disagree with the war in Iraq, I couldn't agree with your analysis more. I had made similar points with Olivier in France last year, but not anywhere as concise and direct as you just did. Of course, Olivier said I was wrong. Excellent post AD, simply excellent.

The problem is with ICE himself. He has taken every position possible on more than a fair number of issues that credibilty questions arise. Has he made more than a few good points? Sure he's taken almost every side of every issue and with his number of posts, he's bound to have pecked out some good ones. What is really the sad, is that he he quite frequently rebutts those who disagree with him by resorting to very unbecoming, profanity ridden, abusive, name calling. Much talk around here revolves around "taking it to the next level". Maybe we all could do the same for ourselves and not support those who wish to lower the bar so to speak.
